“This is a town staple for those who know about it. Theyve always had amazing food here... menu will change a little here and there and all of it is always fantastic. Been going here for years... havent gone as much as i used to since i became a long haul truck driver but back in the day i used to go almost every night. Always great people there ready for good conversation over great food. Totally worth the stop and in a very convenient location.“

“I have nothing bad to say about this place. It was packed and full of people. Super nice atmosphere and the food was amazing. The server gave us a few pizza because THEY didn't like the way it came out. We didn't mind the pizza the way it looked but good on them for realizing their own quality. Learned what Laced Pizza is and i love it. Will be returning soon!“

“A real hidden gem!
After 4 hours of cycling around the area, my wife and I were looking for refreshments. In the UK we'd have passed numerous pubs in that time, but less so here in New England. Quite by chance we happened across Grumpy's and couldn't have asked for a better watering hole.
The venue itself is brimming with character and history, and there's definitely something for everyone! Pool, darts, pinball, arcade games and a wonderful host in Kevin.
The drinks seemed really reasonably priced, and I would have happily stayed all day if I could have!
There are t many places to choose from around here that have the vibe and soul of Grumpy's, and so if that's what your looking for, this is the place to be!
If we are ever in the area again, we'll definitely be stopping by!“

“The food was absolutely amazing. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful. The bartender was out sick and he jumped behind the bar. His wife is cooking in the kitchen and we also got to meet some of the extended family. Everybody was lovely. Stuffed Grape Leafs were amazing. The hummus was delicious. They take over 24 hours to make their chicken wings and it shows. And then three of us had kebab sandwiches, which were phenomenal. Everybody in my party enjoyed the Beirut beer, which we’ve never had before. We will definitely be back.“

“Stopped in for a bowl of Lobster Bisque. It was served in a bread bowl which was soooo perfect and the bisque was the best I have ever had…all in all the food and experience was to die for. The complimentary cookie was a great treat! Delicious.“

“I like The Bog Tavern and meet friends there, often for lunch. Like today~for my birthday! I should have gone with my gut and ordered my usual fried chicken sandwich instead of the Lobster Roll, which was a ($38.00) Lunch Special. I was speechless when our server(amazing Jordan) brought it out. It was a mealy, measly serving of lobster meat on a limp roll, with no lettuce to hold it together. And it tasted bland. Bog: Summer is almost here~ you need do to a MUCH better job with the classic Cape Cod Lobster Roll ~or take it off the menu!“

“I wish I could recommend the Ho. This was my go-to spot for almost 20 years. They took out their beer taps, reduced the menu options, and the quality of the food has gone downhill. Very disappointing!“

“Needed a last minute place to feed hungry hockey players and parents and I called at 8am and by 12:30pm they had an amazing spread for around 60 people. The food was great, staff were amazing and very accommodating. The 12U Maine Moose team really appreciates all you did for us and having a place where the team and families could be together to create some amazing memories. Thanks again“

“Did a search for a place on the water and went here. Boats all around on this inlet but was a great little spot. The weather was great so it was wonderful to be outside. Nice bar with friendly bartenders. Food was good and the staff was attentive but not overly. We didn't feel rushed at all.“

“One of the best places to get a decent lobster roll. Tons of claw meat with the slightest bit of mayo. Cute father/daughter duo playing guitars and singing.“
