“I grew up in the area and have lived abroad—mostly in Europe—for the past 15 years. Over that time, I’ve become very aware of the differences in ingredients and food quality between Europe and the U.S. When I come back each year to visit family, I often find that a lot of American food leaves me feeling bloated and uncomfortable, likely due to additives, dyes, and lower-quality ingredients that I’m no longer used to.

Blue Moon Bagel Cafe is the one wonderful exception.

I’ve been coming here since high school, and it’s the place I genuinely look forward to eating when I’m back in town. I truly trust their ingredients: the food tastes fresh, clean, and well made, and it doesn’t leave me with that heavy, uncomfortable feeling I get elsewhere. The sandwiches are delicious, everything feels thoughtfully prepared, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. Prices are also quite reasonable for the area, especially considering current inflation in the US.

I’ll admit that some of the desserts are total sugar bombs—but that’s probably just my now very European palate talking! For those who love a sweet treat, they’re clearly doing something right.

All in all, Blue Moon Bagel Cafe is a real gem in Medfield. I’m grateful it’s still here and always make a point to visit when I’m back about once a year. Thank you for staying true to quality and consistency all these years.“

“Definitely a great place with great food that'll be your family to. Great quality food that makes it one of the best places in the area. The Burgers were the best burgers we had. Period. Well done, juicy and flovorful. We had the chicken sandwich, fish tacos and deserts. ( Creme Brulee and Brownie ). All the food was phenomenal. Staff is also extremely friendly and the ambience very inviting.“

“I dont know what kind of dark magic they use, but their dairy and gluten free pumpkin pie is delightful! Even my picky eater kid ate two whole slices. I go at least once a month and stock up on treats which I then freeze to have on hand and its so worth the money and the drive. The parking here is not great, though take-out orders are available. The inside is quite spacious, with a bar section as well as multiple seating in the back. The staff are friendly, and they pump out orders very quickly even when they have many orders to go through.

I typically eat here for lunch, and have tried multiple different options. I found the clam chowder to be average, the bread included was a bit too hard for my liking but did go well with the clam chowder. The Buffalo Chicken Mac n Cheese is really good, it's one of my favorites to get. The breakfast bowls and salmon toast is also very good as well.

Overall, its a great place to visit and eat for a casual brunch or maybe a quick dinner.“

“Wheeeeere to begin! A cute little establishment in a little plaza. Upon entering the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The menu is bright and bold so there is not trouble reading it. Came in with my husband before we got ice cream to grab some buffalo wings. Sooooooooo glad I did! Them suckers were so dang good make you wanna smack ya mama! “Really fast service. I ordered a peach cream matcha and it was really good. A lot of variety in drinks, a lot more than Gongcha's, and I personally prefer these flavors as well. The boba itself was really good, consistently sweet and chewy. Goncha and Kung Fu Tea are similarly priced, so it's up to you on which flavor or boba floats your boat, however I would choose Kung Fu Tea over Gongcha any day.“
