“Wonderful place to eat on our trip to Boston. Went with my dad and then took my wife there 3 days later for a different experience. Owner was kind and friendly. Birthday party was in the middle room and the whole restaurant sang along.”

“Being 100% Italian also the food was amazing! They started us off with real EVOO to dip Our bread in with salt & pepper you can tell the EVOO was straight from Italy. I started with the arancini special which was sausage and saffron sitting in a white creamy sauce that was absolutely delicious. Then it was a toss up on my pasta dish between lobster raviolis and wild mushroom pappardelle I went with the lobster raviolis in a pink sauce. I never finish my food and I ate ever single ravioli. The portion was good enough for me and the proper way to eat a pasta dish so you don’t have left overs or waste. The pink sauce was creamy and delicious (I even dipped my bread in it at the end). Then I went straight for the dessert and ordered affogato (gelato with espresso) wow amazing not too sweet and not too bitter from the espresso perfect blend. Then my friend and I still were not ready to leave so I ordered a espresso martini and again amazing only advice I would give them is shake the martini more to make it foamy And that was my first experience at Gusto’s I give it a 10/10 Oh and the pizza looked really good that will be my next outing.”

“Was staying in Medford, working in Boston for 18 days. The food was so good I ate there 16 of the 18 days I was there.(tried some Italian restaurants while I was there the other 2 nights). Everything I ate was great! The chili was the best I’ve ever ate, the wings were awesome, the loaded nachos, the steak tips, the meatloaf, sweet potato fries, the brussel sprouts, the collard greens, were all great and some of the best southern food I’ve ever ate and I’m from South Alabama! And the drinks were great also. It was my home away from home for 2 1/2 weeks. The atmosphere was very welcoming, Scott, Erin and Sylvia took great care of me. We don’t have places like this down here. 12 out of 10 rating for me! Hope I get to come back and visit. Thanks for making a fella from Tanner Williams, Alabama feel welcome.”

I had NEVER tasted meatballs that come close to my mum or Grammy until I ate at Bocellis! It’s not just the meatballs this is real Italian food! For the poor souls who don’t have an Italian grandmother who cooks DELICIOUS… you have one now at Bocellis. If you, if like me, you’ve been eating great Italian food your whole life… Bocellis won’t disappoint you! When I started eating at Bocellis over twenty years ago… Nick, the owner, is the NICEST GUY you’ll ever meet. Back then it was all family, his wife cooked the food and his kids waited tables. They have all moved on, but the food is still great!”

“First time there, was on a whim due to a Google search for burgers. Snappy Patty’s did not disappoint!! The cheeseburgers, tots, and beignets were on point!! Delicious, well cooked, and well seasoned!!! I’m from the south and this is the FIRST place I have ever recommended for burgers. The decor is phenomenal!! The colors and pics on the wall.. you have to see it!! Everything from Sesame Street, Star Wars, to classic rockers are present on the walls!! The music is the perfect level!! You can talk and have as conversation, but still have background music. Something I have found is not always the case. The staff is unbelievable. I felt like I was a regular that had been going for years! The communication with ordering to hid the staff works senselessly together is an added bonus to this experience. Yes, experience.. when all your senses are activated.. a restaurant/bar isn’t just a place for food and drinks. It’s a place that comes to life. Check it out when you can and tell me if you don’t feel the same!! I already know I’ll be back. Enjoy!!”

The marzipan is the best we have ever tasted. When picking up the cake, we could not resist buying several of the other pastries (including the mayor snail) just to try, and they did not disappoint. We enjoyed the spring chicken sandwich but it was better without the bun, honestly could use more of a homemade softer bread, but the fried chicken and spicy jam with side of sweet potato fries was super yummy and filling. Definitely worth leaving Boston for, easy parking and no wait.”

The pies are packed with big chunks of very good white meat chicken, so they’re more filling than most. They’re also not too salty. The portions are really solid, too. A pie that says it’s 6 servings fed us exactly 6 servings. They were wonderful when I called about a food allergy, too.”
