“The donuts are amazing but this review is for Ruben, the manager at the Rt 1 location. I had to travel for business today and it happens to also be my son’s 15th birthday. Because my son has celiac disease, options for baked goods is limited, especially when your plane lands at 6:30pm on the big day and gluten free options aren’t known to last long once baked. Unfortunately, living in Southern New Hampshire, delivery via UberEats or GrubHub wasn’t an option But, being a father himself, Ruben kindly offered to deliver them personally after work. This man went above and beyond, first driving home to pick up his kids. You see, his wife needed to get to her job so he brought his kids along for the adventure. In addition, he refused all forms of tipping despite my repeated insistence. He explained that he hopes someone would do the same for his kids if he was in my position and, as the manager, he felt compelled to make it happen. Ruben, you’re an angel, one in a million, an amazing human! I hope you receive back the blessing you bestowed on me and my son 10-fold! Thank you isn’t enough. To those reading this, please leave an extra big tip for Ruben next time you stop in. I sure will be.“

“My wife and I like donuts but prefer them to be smaller, so we’ve been dying to check this place out. The flavor balance is just perfect just sweet enough but not too sweet. And they are beautiful, almost too cute to eat. We’ll be back.“

“This is how you make a donut. Unpretentious, substantial, and consistent, and most importantly delicious. The honey dews (chocoloate in particular) are the gold srandard. This place is such a gem. Sadly, I no longer live closeby, but I go out of my way to get them any time I'm in the boston area“

“Just went here for the first time ever and WOW! First off, omg amazing donuts - I've had a lot of donuts and these are sooo good, they have just moved to the top of my book! Second, everyone in there (and waiting on the sidewalk) was so friendly! It is like this place emits good vibes and puts everyone in a good mood. A truly wonderful experience! Oh and third, surprisingly good coffee - you never know what you are going to get from a basic drip coffee maker but it was good! “This donut shop is so great - their selection of donuts is so unique, and creative. They are quite expensive, though, so be prepared. They also have a wide variety of coffee and chais, which was rather nice to see. I ordered the maple latte, and it was okay. It didnt need any additional al.sweetner, but the taste was...different. Not bad, though! The staff was really polite, and kind, and there was quite a bit of seat in no available, as well as a restroom on site. I will definitely come back when I can!“

“My sister and I grabbed food from here before driving back home. We don’t have Honey Dew Donuts where we live, and now I think Dunkin’s bacon, egg, and cheese croissants will never be the same to me. These were SO much better! The large size of the cold brew was much larger than I anticipated, which is always welcome on a road trip. Also, where I’m from customers would have been so rude in a place that small forming a line. Everyone there was so polite and friendly. Overall a positive experience.“

Now I randomly crave donuts at 8 pm when they’ve already closed and I have to (impatiently) wait until the next morning. By the way its run, you can tell the owner actually cares about the customer. Its always a good sign when there is a lot of regulars and you all come there so much it starts to become a community. “Ordered the strawberry yogurt slush and it was truly amazing! I chose the lowest sugar level and you can really taste the fresh fruit in there (the natural strawberry aroma). The yogurt is creamy and flavorful, and the crystal boba (not sure if that’s the name, the slightly crunchy one) in the drink is fresh too.

“It’s like an old school dunks in here. Always filled with folks hanging out gossiping over coffee. It’s clean. They’re always fast and accurate. The staff is friendly. The gentleman with the longer dark hair really seems to enjoy is his job and will banter with the regulars, he’s really kind and personable.

It’s really clean. Big parking lot. It’s a Dunks, it’s not here to reinvent the wheel on cheap coffee. Place your order, enjoy the atmosphere while you wait and head out for your day. What more could you need?“

“The Honey Dew on The Lynnway in Lynn Mass has the most wonderful staff. I usually go to the drive thru they always have such a pleasant attitude never mixes up orders. I always get what I want and done perfectly. When I come around and pay they are so respectful and always happy and smiling. They made me a fresh pot of decaf coffee and apologized to me. I was happy to wait for the fresh coffee they could've given me the old coffee but they didn't do that.“

“Great coffee! Delicious breakfast sandwiches, donuts and pastries! You can sit down and watch what ever game is playing on the TV's! Or you can even read on of the books or newspapers they have! The employees are very nice, and they will engage in a conversation with you, and make you feel at home! Definitely my goto place to get coffee and breakfast sandwiches!“

“Best donuts in the area! Their donuts are incredible in flavor. They’re light, fluffy, and delicious - my kids request them every week! Our favorites are vanilla glaze, everything donut, and the Apple fritter. Sometimes they have savory tarts which are SO good. We especially love the pride donuts they have every June. Blackbird employees are always so friendly and welcoming as well, which is also appreciated. Blackbird also delivers through DoorDash, and the donuts are always delivered fresh. The Newton location does not have a bathroom, fyi but that does not detract from the amazing food! Thank you Blackbird for being such a wonderful addition to our community!“

“Sure, it’s a small “pop-up” as other have noted. That’s not the point, they’re not here for a walk-in, sit down, and lounge while you drink coffee and eat one of their donuts. They’ve got a wide variety of selections, both for those with and without dairy allergies. That alone is hard to find. Add to that that both offerings are amazing in proportion and taste makes it even harder to find. Ignore the negative reviews, take a chance and you’ll be happy you went.“

“Easily one of the most chaotic Dunkin’ visits I’ve ever had. The manager spent the entire time berating employees over a ticket machine, openly insulting them in front of customers instead of leading. Even worse, she tried to influence customers to talk down to the employees as well, calling them “stupid”. The toxic environment was impossible to ignore—employees looked miserable, and the inappropriate behavior between them was shocking. I’m just glad my kid wasn’t with me to witness it. Those employees deserve better.“

“I’m obsessed with the Portuguese sandwich. Iced coffee is drinkable black, which is all I really care about. Staff has always been helpful and they do their best to get us all served quickly. I couldn’t believe it was a whole honeydew inside the tiny gas station. I’m also a big fan of the coconut donuts.“

“Staff were polite and efficient when I popped in here after a hike at the Breakheart Reservation. We also tried the ghost pepper donut and it's hard to describe properly. The texture of the ghost pepper sprinkles(?) is similar to pop rocks. The heat is very mild and I wouldn't even call it spicy. The frosting is probably strawberry but we're not sure. It works and they balance each other out. An interesting experience but I'll probably stick with jam the next time.“
