“The bread selection was very limited, with only two very similar types available. While the quality and taste of the food were good, the items were priced as high as those at the most expensive bakeries in Manhattan. It’s a nice establishment, but we won't be coming back“

“It's bittersweet because the food is great and almost everyone that works there is polite except for the girl that wears the headphones in the pink sweatshirt at the Middleton place. she always has an attitude. she always has a look on her face like I shouldn't be here and I'm better than everybody. never says please never says thank you never responds to you when you say thank you. Every time I have called the person who answered my call was able to answer my questions quickly and politely. I appreciate the efficient service as that seems to be a rarity these days. “I am a huge fan of key lime pie and have sampled it at pretty much every opportunity. Each time, I find something that isn’t an A+. The crust is too grainy or crumbly, the bakery has added meringue (which I like on lemon but not lime), or—and this is the most common offender—there is entirely too much lime in the recipe. But the key lime pie I had at Caramel was exceptional in every possible way, especially in its balance of lime flavor. I didn’t try anything else there, so I can’t vouch for the macarons or other goodies, but if you love key lime pie, RUN to this bakery!“

The croissants we purchased were absolutely delicious, while the macarons were great as well. Street parking was a bit of a challenge but worth the effort. Definitely would stop again if we are in the area.“

Simply wonderful!
The service is impeccable—the staff are always very friendly, attentive, and quick to respond. You feel like they care about each customer.
All the products are fresh, made daily, with that delicious aroma of freshly baked bread. The breads, cakes, and savory treats have a homemade flavor that makes all the difference. You'll want to try everything! Especially the carrot cake with that wonderful ( calda de chocolate)😋😋😋.
Another very positive point is the cleanliness. The environment is very well-kept, organized, and pleasant for those who want to have a coffee on the spot or take something home.
Definitely a bakery that's a pleasure to visit. I recommend it wholeheartedly! Keep it up!

“Colarusso’s has become by go-to bakery. When my family realized I stopped there for Easter treats, I was immediately asked if I brought the chocolate cream pie again (of course!). While waiting, I grabbed some pizzelle & a big milk chocolate egg that we always had when I was a kid at Grandma’s house on Easter. Seeing a sign for struffoli, I had to grab some. My grandmother may turn over in her grave for this, but OMG! They were amazing! And so much better than grandma made (sorry Grammy 😇). They were so light and airy, & were perfection. I’ve never had anything that wasn’t incredible & delicious.“

“There is a variety of bread that is most similar to Salvadoran bread and it is good but I don't like that the customer serves themselves and there are customers who are not very clean and try to reach for the bread that is placed at the back and that way they drag themselves past. sleeve of his jacket the bread that is placed on the edge, that is, in front and I don't like that. In my opinion, it should be the store saleswoman who delivers the bread to customers so that it is cleaner this way.“
