“Amazing! The Reuben blew my mind and the fries are wicked flavorful. We ate here every single day of our Salem stay and it still didn’t feel like I got enough of it. Their desserts are so good. The whoopie pies, chocolate and funfetti, remind me of childhood. I also had the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes…chefs kisses all around. The husband said the cookies were great and had several every night for a bedtime snack. They had peanut butter chocolate chip and traditional chocolate chip. Both were winners! We tried the Reuben, turkey wrap, chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, and desserts. Everything was great. We did not have one item that didn’t taste great. Make this one of your must visit stops if you’re in Salem!“

“Had a great Chocolate Chip here the past couple of years, and it's my go-to. Seriously delicious. Most recently, I decided to try the Rocky Road and was sadly disappointed. For some reason, they added almond extract - much too much almond extract that left bitter notes lingering on the palette. Unfortunately this overpowered everything else including the chocolate; a chocolate based ice cream should be chocolate forward. Instead of actual toasted almonds, which would have given that pleasing pop of nutty almond flavor, they used walnuts that, naturally, got soft and spongy. I had to try and figure out what that strange texture was that I was biting into. The marshmallow was some sort of sauce, had a very slimey mouth feel to it, and there was way too much in it turning the cone into a slimy, instead of creamy, treat. I don't think I've ever thrown out ice cream before until then. And it makes me sad because it's so simple to make an excellent Rocky Road. I honestly believe I chose the worst possible alternative, and thats completely on me (but if you want to bring someone you hate a treat, bring them this one).

“We went to the restaurant for the first time. The service was excellent along with the drinks. Enjoyed the food and would plan on returning except for one issue. There was a processing fee added to the bill. When I asked the waitress to explain this she stated that this is added when you use a credit card. Paying with cash will obviate this. There was no notice that the restaurant would add this fee and I thought that adding such a fee without notice is not legal. There are many restaurants that do not charge this exorbitant and inappropriate fee and we will dine there until this restaurant removes it.“

Not sure when I will get to Worcester, MA again but I will definitely visit La Cuchina. As a bonus, my server was a gentle soul, Michael. Its a small street where you will come to a stop sign, where you will then TURN LEFT on to Webster st. from here you keep straight with a slight Right onto Main st. Keep going down Main st. then make a Right turn on to Gardner st. after you cross over Hollis street...the shipping docks are on the right ....if your going to RECEIVING DOCKS Keep straight on Gardner st. and TURN RIGHT behind the building BEFORE THE BRIDGE into the alley way. Receiving is door 105 on your right but stay to your left along the wall in order to keep traffic flow. This was the BEST way for me to come ...AVOIDING those BRIDGES.“

The food is pretty good, usually very quick service... Seating could use to be updated and the beer is a specific hit.. if you like imperial IPAs this place is for you. My kids loved the table games that were available. With the closure of Ronnie’s, we have been on the hunt for a new ice cream spot. Coco’s will definitely be visited again. Personally, I would go buy Indian food elsewhere where it’s not as expensive for the portion size. Though the butter chicken was really good. We got the mild, which was the perfect creaminess and flavor. The chicken was tender as well. The goat curry was also delicious and definitely had a more meater fatty taste. The garlic naan is a good size and it was cooked not too dough or not too dry. The samosas were crispy on the outside, but still soft on the inside filling and the sauce went well perfectly“
