“Came in on a weekday for lunch. Ordered Lunch Course ($27/person) with Set C meat and garlic spanish + fried dumplings and ice cream, together with 3 2--BBQ-items lunch combo ($14.95/each). There are parking garage nearby with plenty of space. The restaurant is big and have all the same chain quality of this restraint chains. The grill was not oiled and the first set of meats kept sticked to the metal grill, which is very unpleasant experience. However, one thing that is more disappointed is that they don't have green tea ice cream, one of the main reasons I ordered lunch course. This is not quite acceptable for a Japanese restaurant. They can only offered vanilla ice cream; however, the top was freezer burned. That put a bitter end to this visit, unfortunately.“

Owners Pina and Tony are so warm and personable — it truly feels like family when you’re there. Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Having grown up with New York City parents (and with my own background working in a pizza restaurant), I know good pizza when I taste it — and this was next-level. Their Detroit-style Double Trouble pizza with hot honey was out of this world. 🍯🔥 The Caesar salad with fresh-grated cheese was crisp and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the cannolis with chocolate chips and lemon — pure heaven. 🍋🍫 I’d happily drive 35 minutes any day for this. The pizzas are clearly made with love, and I can’t wait to bring my parents back to try it. If you’re anywhere near the North Shore (or even if you’re not) — do yourself a favor and try Volo.
