“Good collection of ice creams, plenty of vegan and non dairy options to choose from. We tried the maachiato and strawberry swirl in the vegan options and we absolutely loved it! We were pleasantly surprised as it tasted just like any dairy icecream. Would definitely visit once again!“

“UPDATE 9-25-21: Visited the second floor Carvel the other day. Marlyn is the manager here. She was a pleasure to meet with and the ice cream was FABULOUS! NOTHING beats Carvel Soft Serve Ice Cream. Nothing. Marlyn had her store in tip top shape. The store was very clean and sparkling. The Carvel Ice Cream machine was so shiny and clean that it looked as if it was brand new! I was very impressed. I had two large vanilla cones with chocolate sprinkles and two of Annie's Giant Salted Pretzels. The pretzels were absolutely DELICIOUS! It was a great treat and well worth the drive from Brookline.Positively the BEST SOFT SERVE ice cream in Boston! No doubt about it. I have been all over Boston, Worcester, Randolph, Brockton, Weymouth, Plymouth and Quincy. I have been to the North Shore, Attleboro and all points in between. CARVEL soft serve ice cream is better than Dairy Queen, JP Licks, Jerry's World Famous soft serve and everyone else's soft serve ice cream. Carvel has a patented formula that makes their ice cream the best there is. It is smooth, creamy, "heavy" and contains no "air" pockets. This location had great service and the ice cream was as good as it gets. I had 2 large vanilla cones with chocolate sprinkles. The lady that manages the store was super friendly and polite. It is a bit of a drive for me (Brookline) but well worth the trip. I wish there was one closer to me. A nice "stand alone" Carvel store in Coolidge Corner would be awesome!“

“I work at the mall and I come here 2-3 times a week for my lunch break. The food is AMAZING and the best part is, it’s perfectly made EVERY single time. The only negative thing I have to say is that when you order ahead online (I can only order online because it’s always busy, I have limited time for my lunch break & it takes about 15 mins for the food to be ready) there is an option to add a note for each item you order (whether it’s a food allergy or asking them to add something) - anytime I add a note it never gets any attention. I thought maybe it was because it doesn’t get printed out properly & they can’t see it…but every time I pick up my order, whatever I typed is right there on the receipt stapled to the bag. Anyway not that big of a deal but wish it could be fixed. Besides that I love this place, Definitely give it a try if you’re in the mall.“
