“On one of the first days at my company, a colleague took me to the old New York Deli on Temple Street and introduced me to Kadhim. I couldn't understand why he would take the time - it's not like this guy is going to remember me out of all of the people who come through there. My mistake - every time I would see him over the years, at whatever location, Kadhim would come from behind the counter and greet me by name like an old friend. Understand - he was told my name once, over 20 years ago. I don't even go out to lunch very often - sometimes it would be years between visits to one of the Falafel King locations. But every time I enter, it's a big smile and greeting and an expression of appreciation that cannot be faked...go check them out!“

“ill start with the shawarma being extremely underwhelming. east-coast metropolitan canada has spoiled me when it comes to a good shawarma: fluffy garlic sauce, meat that melts in your mouth, perfectly pickled pickles, a saj that’s dunked in the shawarma juice and flambéed on the grill. and this shawarma is not that. this is dry af and i don’t think there is good shawarma in boston. you should just do the 6 hour road trip to ottawa
but alas! this review is actually not for the shawarma because then it would’ve been much lower than this score. this review is for the baklava. for $5, you get a huge square of baklava that is so perfectly crisp and chewy. overwhelming flavour profile of floralness in the syrup - much more than other baklavas ive had in the Boston area and i LOVE it. orange blossom/rosewater is so under emphasized in baklava nowadays and noor does it so right….. for $5 how can you even complain?!?!? this is value maxxing. id come again and again and again just for this baklava. thank you for your service noor mediterranean grill“

“It’s a small cafe like restaurant but their food is delicious. I don’t like the bread they give with soup and platter , I get a chapati instead. I get chicken breast platter and soup occasionally there. chicken is always tender and delicious.“

“Whenever we’re in Boston this is a must-have. The softest pita, felafel that is both moist and delicous, tehina with a perfect consistency, and the sehug that packs a flavorful punch that will take you allll the way to flavortown. The shawarma is wonderful and the ingredients are all fresh. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit!“

“I've played in a lot of clubs in a lot of places and the Middle East is one of the best. The place has an incredible vibe, great food, and great music. Everyone on staff was wonderful and the bartender, Lauren, was truly exceptional. Thanks to everyone at the club for a killer night. See you next time!

“The food is incredible! I would give them 6 stars if I could!
After driving past this restaurant a gazillion times, I said, " You know we have to try that restaurant out" and finally we did and at a very busy time around seven . They didn't have any tables available as this restaurant is small and came at peak hour but we managed to get a couple seats at the bar. We had the best baba ghanoush, the lamb, Adana, and chicken kebab..,it was delicious!!!!!! the salad was delicious too! And the pistachio Halva dessert was divine with goat ice cream! The main thing is our meal was fresh! They were also a lot of takeout orders so I think this restaurant is a no-brainer for me. If I need to entertain people, I will probably order a bunch of kebabs from them and know the quality would be fabulous because it's small. It was a little hectic when I was there since food was being passed along the table with an empty stool next to me at the bar. But I get it. It's busy! I would like to come in when it's a little quieter maybe around five I have a more calming dining experience!“

“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.“

“I recently dined at Land of Fire in Boston, and it was a fantastic experience! The kebabs were incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of seasoning. The doner was equally impressive—juicy and satisfying. The variety of dishes offered ensured there was something for everyone, all served fresh and hot. The ambiance was inviting, and Hido, the owner, truly adds to the experience with his warm hospitality. I highly recommend Land of Fire to anyone craving delicious Middle Eastern cuisine!“

“We knew we wanted Magic Bites to cater our family event and we were so pleased that we did! Atilla and Elif were helpful and patient planning the menu and everything was top notch delicious. They knew we had some allergies in the family and they made an extra effort to create large labels with all ingredients. I highly recommend them!!“

“Update: decided to give them another chance to see if I could receive my food. The delivery was smooth and arrived on time, so it seems like it was an Uber Eats issue previously.Ordered a chicken and lamb plate. The meat was good and so were the salads and sauces. Only real negative was the rice. It was very plain, which was unfortunate.Waited over an hour for delivery and then my order was cancelled.“

“I had a dinner there. Ordered a lamb kabob. The servant gentleman was less than enthusiastic. He acted a bit like as if I owed him something. Food was ok. It was a weird vibe overall. I unfortunately will not be able to recommend a place and probably will not go back myself.“

“Love Sofra! Everything I have had from there I have thoroughly enjoyed. The falafel, in particular, is delicious and the baked goods are always a treat.
The one critique I have is simply the layout. It's a small spot and it's typically VERY busy, especially on weekends, and it can get very congested. There isn't a great method for moving people through the shop, which contributes to the congestion.
Otherwise, I highly recommend stopping by and either staying to enjoy your food or grabbing something to go. You won't be disappointed!
Vegetarian options: Falafel, shakshuka, dips, pastries.“

“Have eaten here several times over the past year. The food has always been delicious, absolutely fresh (the tabouleh tastes made-to-order) and overall have enjoyed the experience. Yes, it's a one-man show and sometimes the food takes longer than what you usually expect, but it's been worth the wait. Will definitely return.“

“Honestly my favorite pizza I’ve had in Boston. I’m looking forward to trying other menu items soon.
Charlie is extremely nice and greets everyone and recognizes returning customers and asks how your day is going etc.
Overall, great food and great people. One of the only places I could rate 5/5 in every part of the field. I had been going to inbound(4/5) but I enjoy this place more, I think it may be the dough I prefer/sauce.“
