“Driven by here many times. I live in the area and decided to try it out. They have a lovely open concept. It’s a real good Irish pub feeling. The food is GOOD too. We got a round of mai tais, they were delicious. Mai tai is one of my fave drinks and I judge them kind of harshly for that reason. The service was good. She was on top of it and very friendly. Able to handle many patrons at once. I loved it and will be back.“

“Loved the cozy, yet chic pub vibe and charming staff! We came to experience The Fed’s famous cocktails, but we were blown away by the food selections as well. When the staff heard it was my mother’s first time in Boston, Chef John made it extra special by creating a delicious Seafood tower for us! (The scallop ceviche was to die for!) The four of us sampled the pretzel, clam chowder and pasta dishes, and I’ll be making another trip back just to have the grilled asparagus salad again. So fresh and tasty! I gave ‘Mix Master Marco’ a challenge to surprise me with a cocktail, and the daiquiri he created was just amazing. (Now I wish I could remember the name of it.)

“Walker Memorial, constructed in 1916, is one of the early and most iconic buildings on MIT’s Cambridge campus, built in honor of former MIT President Francis A. Walker and designed in a classic neoclassical style that gives it a timeless presence along Memorial Drive. 

Normally, students find themselves here for a few classic MIT-only reasons:
1. Midterm and final exams at Walker Gym on the 3rd floor — a rite of passage for large classes and a great vantage point for people-watching when you finish early. 
2. Events in the grand spaces like Morss Hall on the 1st floor — where lectures, mixers, cultural celebrations, and student group showcases bring the building to life. 
3. The beloved Muddy Charles Pub tucked into the 1st-floor corner closer to the river — an unbeatable spot to unwind after problem sets, especially with a view of the Charles. 

There are no restrooms on the first floor, they’re in the basement and up on the third, so plan your coffee breaks accordingly. “Looking for dinner options along Moody Street and this was an easy choice. I've been to Dallas and had a fun evening in their Deep Ellum neighborhood so why would I skip the opportunity to try it again.

Lots of options here, considering we have meat eaters, pescatarians and kosher eaters in the group tonight. We started off with a plate of their pickles and they were fabulous. With it, beers! Including a draft German beer for me and a tin of a non-alcoholic for Mrs. K.

For main, I chose the Italian sandwich and it was fabulous. Well loaded and very tasty if perhaps a little messy. But that's what napkins are for. Mrs. K. chose the grilled cheese and said it was excellent.

Great service here and we had a fabulous evening. Five stars!“

“When my uncle passed away, he left clear instructions that he did NOT want a traditional memorial service. He wanted his friends to get together and have beers. Joe and the other owners COULD NOT have been more accommodating. They helped every step of the way through this challenging time. They are incredible people, and I could not be happier with how the event turned out. I will be a lifelong supporter of Distraction, as will every single person who attended that evening. “Here’s a revieWe had a decent meal at The Abby. The food itself was good, but we had a small issue with the salad. I had asked to substitute the fries for a salad, and while I appreciated the option, it came already dressed. I personally liked the dressing, but I usually prefer my salads without it, and would have appreciated being asked. Unfortunately, my partner didn’t like the dressing at all and ended up not eating her salad. A small thing, but it would’ve made a difference if they had checked with us first.“

“We went to cook on a Sunday for brunch on a table of 5 with 3 kids. Our server was Johnny who not only had everything on point but did absolutely everything to make sure we felt welcome, the kids were entertained (with extra drawings and crayons requests) and all that while he was training another server.

The food was really good (so much so that we plan to come back soon), we had draft and cocktails and we just didn’t try dessert, but the ambiance was nice, wasn’t too full and is definitely a great location to come back to.“

Most recently, we arrived at 6:15, didn't get the menu or water for 20 minutes (there was only one other table dining). But the place was freezing - everyone in the place was wearing coats, one woman wore mittens between bites!“
