“So I noticed that Newton has a restaurant called Coconut Cafe, and I thought it would be funny to get a picture of a Lime Bike inside the front door, because “you put the Lime in the Coconut” and all that, so I went over there today, and the place turns out to be pretty nice and I was already feeling like this wouldn’t be a particularly polite (or funny) joke, but anyway the closest Lime Bike I could find was about a block away, and when I tried picking it up to bring it over to Coconut Cafe to maybe get a “put the lime *by* the coconut” photo instead, the bike started talking to me, saying “PLEASE PAY ME A DOLLAR AND YOU CAN RIDE ME! PLEASE PUT ME DOWN OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE! THIS IS YOUR SECOND WARNING, I AM ABOUT TO CALL THE POLICE.” and I decided that this stupid joke wasn’t worth getting arrested for and at that point I was too annoyed to pay the dollar to unlock the bike to ride it a grand total of about 30 feet for a joke photo that the owner of the shop would justifiably get mad at me for anyway, so I left the bike there and just had lunch instead (Bangkok-style veggie pad thai, they told me it would take 15 minutes but then it was ready in about 1.5 minutes, so that was nice) and it was delicious. Thank you for reading my story have a nice day.“

“A very good find for excellent Thai food. The flavours were spot on. Careful about the level of heat you can handle.
Make sure to order your appetizers first only. Order your mains only after, otherwise everything arrives at the same time and in no particular order.“

“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back“

“I'm not typically a review guy but this place is truly incredible. Chicken, rice, and daikon soup is all some of the best I've had in Boston, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and it's a cute little place to eat in or get takeout. Highly recommend the spicy chicken and the chive cakes, and can't wait to go back!“

“Very welcoming. I got there about an hour before closing so I picked my food quickly. I had the Creamy Tum Yum and added a little chili oil to it for some spice. It is a great dish for someone who wants flavor with little to no heat. There was plenty of pork and two shrimp tails. I also had the Thai Tea which from the picture in the menu I was worried was a premade mix. Instead it came out fresh and required me to swirl it around to blend the cream. Perfect flavor and temperature. Not overly sweet like some places make it.
The atmosphere was laid back with some cool art work on the walls. Definitely gave a college town feel. The bathroom could use some work. It wasn't scary. It was clean and well stocked but it is definitely on the back burner when it comes to decorating.
I'm surprised they don't have merchandise. Their logo would be a cool patch on a hat. Seems like most restaurants are doing this now and I'm here for it. Better than buying shot glasses.
Anyways, check the place out for some good hot pots, ramen, etc. when in the area.“

“This Thai restaurant was recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint—absolutely delicious!
The Leng Zapp was amazing: the soup is sour and spicy, and while the first sip might be intense, it gets tastier once you get used to the flavour. The pork ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful—highly recommend! The pork leg had a slightly sweet taste, but it was well-seasoned and paired perfectly with the rice. The overall price is reasonable too.
The only downside is the limited seating, so be sure to arrive early!“

“Thonglor — Come for the Khao Soi, Stay Because You Can’t Stop Eating It
If I could write a love letter to a bowl of noodles, it would be to Thonglor’s khao soi. The broth? Rich, silky, and just the right amount of spicy — like it knows how to flirt without burning you. The chicken? Falls apart like my self-control when I see this dish on the menu. And that crispy fried noodle topping? The perfect crunchy mic drop.
Order it once and you’ll spend the rest of your week wondering how soon is too soon to come back without looking suspicious.“

“I grew up in Thailand and have spent most of my life living between Australia and the U.S., so finding authentic Thai food can be tough but Sugar and Spice takes me right back to my childhood. I adore every dish I’ve tried but the Hor Mok has a special place in my heart. A true gem! Delicious, meaningful and unforgettable.“

“Came in on time but my friends and the bday girl were extremely late. They received me kindly despite being super busy. Made sure I was ok, repeatedly asked me if I wanted something to drink. They had every reason de be annoyed but were able to serve us a refreshing and delicious lemonade, delicious appetizers and food and even sung happy birthday with a candle lit mango sticky rice at the end for our guest of honor. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and quiet , the food is delicious and the staff is super nice. I will definitely go again ! 🫶“

“Somtum is my family's favorite place for takeout when we want to treat ourselves. My husband and I went to Thailand on our honeymoon, and every time we order from here, it takes us back. He's a regular with green curry or drunken noodles. I love the Tom Kha coconut soup and the Larb salad. My kids don't like spice but they love the crispy pad thai. Don't sleep on the Thai iced tea- it should come with a warning label, because it's addictive.“

“The food was great. The service was quick and efficient. Don’t forget to make a reservation by calling even though it does not state that it’s necessary on their website we arrived and we’re told that they were full, but we were able to sit at the bar, thankfully.“

“I love Noodle Street! Went for the first time with friends and was charmed by the amazing food and homey atmosphere, but was even more impressed today when I came in alone. There is a woman who I think may be the owner? who is so kind and really made me feel taken care of on a rough day. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Boston now because of the warmth and love she radiated to all the guests.“

“This unassuming Thai restaurant serves authentic dishes. We tried the Lover’s Honeymoon and Gra Pow with Chicken. The former was good, but a bit too sweet for our taste. However, the Gra Pow was simply extraordinary. The chicken was incredibly flavorful and paired perfectly with the rice. I highly recommend taking out from this place.“

“Everything I tried was completely delicious - tom yum, curry massaman, and mango sticky rice. The curry comes loaded with vegetables and with whichever protein you choose. All portions were really sizable and lasted me 2+ meals! I will be returning for takeout 😋🥭 there is no seating but the atmosphere is still cozy while you wait to pick up food. They are fast and very kind!“

“This is a go to spot for me. I love the food. This time, I came for lunch and I veered from my usual pad woon sen and got some garlic shrimp bowl. They were shrimpy on the shrimp only giving 4, as pictured. Nevertheless, the food was absolutely delicious and the sauce was the perfect amount. I will get this again. I hope there's more shrimp with the dinner price.“

“I am trying to do take outs here and there nowadays to help local businesses survive covid19. This place is amazing! Firstly, it is clean and I feel comfortable getting my food here. Secondly, the food is so good you would want to go back. Do try yellow curry and pineapple! Thank you guys!“

“We enjoyed our Thai Pancakes, Shrimp Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice. The staff was so sweet with my son too. He's 2 years old and still learning to eat outside quietly. He approves of the Thai Pancakes...he tried to stuff a whole one in his mouth. Going back to try their fried rice...my Dad made Thai Fried Rice for us growing up. So, I am excited to try theirs.
Also, I am gluten free and dairy free. So, all the dishes we've tried meet those requirements.“

“I’ve lived in Thailand for 3 years (Huai-Kwang) and I can confidentially say this restaurant resembles the closest tastes to the food I’ve eaten during my time there.
I have tried at least 15 different Thai places in Boston and I will say - this is the best.
The flavors are as close to Thailand as you can get, which I never thought could be replicated here. It took me back for a minute lol.
I will still have to try some dishes, like som tam, to see if it has that taste I’m used to… or if it’s lacking dried shrimp.
This location is also significantly better and more authentic than the other Laughing Monk locations.“

“I have eaten here numerous times. It's actually my favorite restaurant in the Boston area. Flavors are always on point. Portions are perfect. Food is beautiful. I've had at least 6 different dishes and they have all been outstanding. With that said, if you want your food spicy, you'll need to emphasize that you want the food really spicy; they're not too heavy on the spice here. Which is probably good for me, because it makes me enjoy the flavors more. I like the atmosphere inside a lot. The space is fairly small.“

“Good portion. We ordered the appetizer combo so we can try everything out, the fried shrimp and chicken satay are good. The Pad Thai is just too sweet, it maybe good to balance the spice but still, the sweetness out stands the flavor.
Service is a little bit slow but nice.
Affordable and maybe try to order more spicier ones to bring out more flavors“

“I just walked in for a late lunch-- pad see ew with beef. It was excellent, with a nice char on the meat. Besides great flavor, I like that they used mustard greens as the vegetable. Some other restaurants will put broccoli or other greens in the dish, but the mustard greens to me are the best contrast to the sweet/savory sauce.
Kook (one of the owners) was absolutely lovely and it was fun to talk to her. I'm going to encourage all my friends to go to Kapow!“

“Ordered shrimp + chicken pad thai and tofu red curry for delivery today. Delivery was quick (earlier than Grubhub's ETA), and the delivery person was very polite and appreciative of our business. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were HUGE. I am picky about my pad thai and was favorably impressed by Thai Moon's. Hope my family and I can go here once restaurants open their doors again.“

“This place is SO SO good. It isn't that I didn't like all of Brookline's many strong solid Thai options it is just that this place wow'd me from the start. Every dish I get here is just a notch above other places.“

“Simply the best and freshest Thai food you can find in Massachusetts! We have been eating from this restaurant for more then eight years and I have not found better Thai food anywhere else. Being on a low sodium diet it is hard to find a restaurant that will cook food not drenched in salt. Dishes are cooked to order and requests are always granted. This is a family owned business and they are just fantastic people. This is a take-out restaurant although they offer great luncheon specials at a very fair price if you happen by during lunchtime. Highly recommend!“

“I love their pad Thai!! Ga grob is my favorite kind. It's a boneless piece of fried chicken sliced up and set on top of the pad Thai noodles. I get the peanut sauce to put over it. Their peanut sauce is also amazing!! Thick and creamy with a spicy kick. Pad Thai noodles delicious and sweet. Always packed up nice and neat. My food is always hot and they make it within 15 minutes. Place is always clean, plenty of parking and customs service is excellent. I would highly recommend that you try this place. You will not be disappointed.“

“My bestie and I frequent Thai Boo Cuisine. We've been going there for Sunday lunch for ~2 years now. The food is phenomenal. Always fresh and delicious. Generous portions on main entrees. Appetizers are delicious too. Highly recommend the Thai Basil rice with chicken and their Pad Thai with shrimp. Our server, Miguel is amazingly kind and displays genuine friendliness and just the right amount of attentiveness. The restaurant is small, but open with tables by the window. 'Spic-n-Span' clean. You can't go wrong. A+++++++++“
