“I ordered a cheeseburger at the great price of $8.99! Waitress asked what I wanted with the cheeseburger. I said french fries. Order was received with a good amount of french fries!! When she gave me the bill I was charged and extra $5.00 for the french fries! When I questioned her, she said it only comes with chips. I said "you should tell people there will be an extra charge for french fries!! I'm going back again and will look menu over more closely! Other than that it's ok!“

“We made a reservation for game night Sunday at 5:15 for 6. 2 arrived early and we're sat right away. Riannin our server was polite and super friendly! Once the 4 others arrived we all ordered promptly. (We were worried with the 90 min time slot) we were never rushed or felt not taken care of. Manager stopped by table touch, a floor manager delivered drinks (as our server had 6 tables on a game night!) we had a great time and were impressed! Keep it up !“

Food was excellent and waitress was Kristen S. friendly funny and knowledgeable of food. Meal was well Plated and plenty of flavor not too large of portions. Just right. Atmosphere was mild value was as expected slightly over $100.00 for a couple. Bread is optional but cost an addition $4.95 but worth the price but dont fill up, Water is free had a light Modelo $8.00, One czy cosmo at $13.00 Doggy bag available“

“The food and atmosphere during our latest visit to New Rivers were both excellent, as expected. It was the service that really stood out on this visit. When we arrived, the hostess kindly made sure we sat at the table she selected for us, rather than the bar as we requested, because she selected the best table in the restaurant for us. From there, our server struck the perfect tone. Warm, hospitable, discreet, and attentive, she made sure that we were able to keep the night about us, rather than her service. She seemed to anticipate our needs, never interrupting at an awkward moment or lingering too long. We enjoyed a leisurely, intimate meal gazing at the city's twinkling lights. The food was, as always, excellent, a wonderful expression of seasonal New England fare, presented artfully. My favorites were the pumpkin hummus with crunchy root vegetables, which a perfectly refreshing, sensual way to start the meal. “My husband and I went for the first time on Saturday and sat at the bar. We ordered apps and cocktails and of course oysters. Best oysters in RI by far believe it or not. Drinks were ok but food fabulous! Would have given 5 stars if not for the bartender. She focused solely on my husband the entire time even gave him a free drink. It was very obvious and blatant disrespect to me. My husband even commented on feeling uncomfortable. As a former bartender the general rule is to pay more attention to the wife than the husband out of respect but also because most often the wife is writing the tip. We will for sure be going back but will sit at a table and maybe only order sparkling water.“

“This is probably the best place I have ever eaten. The food is magical and makes you wanting more. Ive been telling everyone about this place. The menu is diverse with something for everyone. This has been my new restaurant to take people to impress them. I’ve brought my whole family here. They were extremely impressed and they are a tough crowd to please….trust me. I’ve also had my whole office go out here one night and they were blown away. My friends from out of town told me that next time they come this is the first place we are going. That’s how blown away they were by the food. I can keep going on about how great this place is. Basically if you have not tried it yet run. This is by far the best new restaurant in Providence“

“We visited Honey Bird back in June. The chicken was outstanding so moist and flavorful. The drinks also did not disappoint, the ingredients blend together so well and zero hang over headache. My 6 year had yummy Mac & cheese with fries.“

“So far ive only had the chicken and fries from here which been about 2 - 3 times But damn the chicken gooodddt! A must have with their sauce (i ask for it on the side along with an extra one) i always come here when i dont feel like cooking or have leftover rice from the day before and dont wanna make any meat to go with it . “This has been my husband and I’s go to place for the last few years. Over the last couple of months we have noticed a decline in portions. While we understand that prices are higher for food, you really shouldn’t bump down in quality, just raise the price if you need to. People may not noice a slight uptick in price but definitely notice the portion size. My husband always favors a whole belly clam and scallops plate and last night he was served that combo with only two whole bellies, the rest were just batter pieces and four scallops that were overcooked , it was so disappointing. My surf and turf was downsized from three baked stuffed shrimp down to two and the prime rib was much smaller. While we could have said something, it should have been noticed before it left the kitchen! We are not people to complain and the staff is always great but I guess my point is, we noticed and may think twice before returning and that saddens us.“
