“This place is the best all around sandwich/pizza shop anywhere. Great salads, sandwiches, dinners. I haven’t had a bad meal yet. The shop is clean and tidy, the employees are friendly and thorough. They repeat your order at least twice and get it right 100% of the time. Pizza is delicious, fried shrimp dinner is plentiful and yummy. We had their Buffalo wings at a party and they’re as good as any I’ve had at a restaurant. I recently got a ham club, I think there was a half pound of ham in it, crazy good, had to split it between 2 meals. Oh…the best skinny fries, they rival McDonalds (better eat them in the car on the way home) They have half a dozen tables if you want to eat there. My whole family gets food here all the time! They cater our family parties too.“

Recommendations were on point to what we were looking for .. Denise was friendly hospitable great knowledge of her drinks and food and always served with a smile .. “Been going here since the late 70’s. One of the best roast beef seafood restaurants on the north shore. I moved from Peabody to Florida in 2018 and wish we had a roast beef seafood place that was even half as good. I still visit Peabody once a year and this is always on my list of places to go. Food is still great. Yes it may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I think they are fair, everywhere prices have increased, I would rather pay a little more and keep the quality. Love this place.“

I worked there back in the 80’s, and this is the next best thing to fresh off the boat, these guys know all the local fishermen and we supplied and sold more seafood than anywhere because it’s always fresh. “Let me tell you a little story... After 18 hours on and off driving and going to dinner for my wife and I anniversary the staff here was super phenomenal... Top notch... My wife was offered a free glass of champagne they gave us a beautiful corner nook and the food was truly Amazing. I'm amazed and so happy we chose to dine at Legal Seafood. It was a sumptuous meal and was relaxing and enjoyable. We will be back for sure as we travel often. Thank you to the great and classy staff and thank you for a wonderful restful dinner as well“

“EXceptional meal..We celebrated an 87th birthday,starting with a grey goose martini garnished with stuffed blue cheese and an awesome byBullet Manhatten.Our appetizer was the Grand Sea Food Tower which I highly recommend. Our main meal consisted of 1 lb of Alaskan King Crab which we requested to be cracked opened and plated .I chose a special which was cuts of filet topped with asparagus and crabmeat with an add on of an 8oz lobster tail. Our server was Cordia.. Words are inadequate to express the awesome service that she extended to us. She is beyond outstanding. Looking forward to our next visit.... Janet and Dan“

“I went to Grassfields Food & Spirits for the first time yesterday for lunch. I had my 6 year old daughter and 1 year old son with me. By gods grace my kids have always been easy to take to dinner without stress, however yesterday my son wasn’t particularly feeling the best because he is cutting a new tooth so he was screaming his head off (on and off) and my daughter accidentally leaned too hard on one side of the table which flipped up the opposite end and my entire, full, iced tea fell and spilled all over the floor. I must give a shout out to the staff there for being so kind and handling the situation with empathy and respect. If I could have anticipated that the kids wouldn’t do well at the restaurant I would have opted for lunch to go (which is what I ended up doing anyway after all that). The waitresses did not give me an attitude or dirty looks or get upset, instead they offered to clean up the mess for me and get me a new iced tea. It may seem like a small gesture but it didn’t go unnoticed because not everyone is as kind, understanding and patient. It’s proven in the death stare I did get from another diner lol. I also must mention that when we finally got home and ate the food was fantastic! The kids teriyaki chicken and rice pilaf was the best! My scallops Florentine was delicious too! I will be back for sure… maybe without the kids next time lol.“

It’s the best roast beef sandwich you can find and it’s consistently made the same way so you can expect that high quality with every order honestly.
