“Best bread I’ve ever experienced! I drive an hour every few weeks to stock up my freezer and probably eat it every day. My favorite so far is the Country bread, but all are great Love the cookbook too, very interesting and enjoyable read for anyone who bakes bread.“

They have amazing Pain Au Raisin and Monkey Bread ? The sandwiches looked delicious! Service was quick, polite and laid back. Very cool vibe! Only a few tables and no dedicated parking. Street parking was easy and you can use an app to pay. No bathroom on premises. Delightful bakery!“

“The GF waffles were out of this world... soft and fluffy. I'm very sensitive to gluten cross- contamination, and it was reassuring to me that the staff person was knowledgeable and asked me if I had a gluten allergy and needed separate preparation for my order. They also are taking COVID precautions seriously. They are requiring proof of vaccination in order to dine in (this is clearly posted inside and outside of restaurant), and while at my table I overheard a staff person asking an unmasked person to put on a mask. Could not have had a more enjoyable experience... sad I don't live in the area!“

“Woodstar has long been one of my absolute staples for a great drink and sandwich. The Berkshire is by far my favorite sandwich with it's baked daily bread, pesto, and turkey. The Honey Lemon Ginger tea (hot or iced) is also my absolute favorite drink. Paired with a delicious coffee, perfection! Been coming here for years and the quality and consistency is top notch!“

“Thank you for the GORGEOUS cake!! Greggory kindly didn’t laugh at me for coming in half an hour before closing last night looking for a birthday treat. I was planning to just pick up some cupcakes or whatever he had left, but he was kind enough to make me a custom cake instead! It’s lemon cake with raspberry filling, and a gorgeous buttercream frosting. Sooooo delicious! And he went out of his way to make it beautiful, and still had it for next day. But secondly, we came in on Tuesday morning and asked if a simple wedding cake was a possibility for the next day. We had driven from Nova Scotia and wanted our daughter and daughter in laws special day to have a special cake from their favourites place. The gals in the bakery were amazing and hit it out of the park for us. We told them all white, simple - and they delivered. Everything is perfect: the savory and sweet offerings, the full espresso menu, the indoor and outdoor ambiance, the kindness of the employees, the proximity to the beloved bike path. Pie Bar is the place that makes me feel luckiest to live here, and I hope it stays forever.

Kind staff, a simple but delicious coffee menu with high quality espresso drinks and great in-house pastries. Combine with a light and airy interior and a great patio. So happy to have this here. Some parking behind the shop, about as much as you can hope for in Amherst.“
