The service is exactly what you want in a local spot: friendly, quick, and genuinely welcoming. Whether it’s a busy night or a quieter visit, the atmosphere hits that perfect balance of lively and relaxed. “We stopped in as a group for a couple drinks after attending a friend’s birthday party in Millbury. Bartender was really friendly and service was fast. Good options for beers. Shortly after we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that there was live music. He sounded great and played a nice variety of genres. This place was comfortable even for first timers and spotless. I would definitely stop in whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend.“

“Milford - First time in, did not love what I ordered and not only was it taken off our bill, but the manager gave us a $25 gift card to come back…that’s excellent customer service which impressed us. Flatbread was excellent, waitress was very kind and attentive and lots of local teens working which was really nice to see. Can’t wait to come back! ❤️“

“The Town House Tavern is a hidden gem! Great place with a fun atmosphere to grab a drink with friends, listen to live music, play darts or gather with a group! I have hosted several fun Sip n Shops at the THT including one coming up next Wednesday December 7th from 5-9PM. “Had an amazing dinner there recently. Went on a weeknight and seated right away. Our server (forgive me if not correct) I believe was Stephanie. Very knowledgeable, kind, attentive. Knew every detail about the menu. Drinks and appetizers came quickly. Had chowder, which was excellent as well as a caprese. Also excellent. 4 dinners came out and every single one was a perfect size, cooked great and tasted delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough“

“This is the best bar in the entire Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Cheap drinks. I got free crockpot chili. Pool tables. Darts. 90s country music. Working class. Lil rowdy. Saw one person get kicked out and 2 cops looking for somebody on the run. The people are hilarious.

“The Spicy BBQ Caesar salad is amazing. It’s HUGE! I had it for lunch, dinner and lunch again! The meat was delicious and that sauce? Perfection. It seems like more of a take out establishment when we went to the Millbury location. But my coworker had the chicken tenders and she said her meal was equally delicious. Next time we will order to go, but there will definitely be a next time!“

“My husband and I stopped in for lunch after taking our two little boys to Cabela's to see Santa, and SO glad we did. The restaurant itself was clean and beautifully decorated. Service was prompt and so friendly. Menu was great, our little ones loved being able to get breakfast and we had items from the lunch menu. Everything tasted really fresh and so delicious. Absolutely will be back again.“

The class were lightly breaded and fried to perfection 👌 My sister loved her haddock too. Our server Nina was a delight - friendly, energetic, super accommodating and helpful. “I hadn't been to Lakeside for quite a while. It was as good as I remembered. I met a friend for early dinner with the intention of staying for awhile. Our waitress was Becca. She was fabulous. She was always available but never pushing us out. We had grilled chicken and meatball sandwiches which were great. The food along with the great service were a winning combination and I'll be back soon!“

“All day brunch! This is what weekends are made of.
We came here because this restaurant won the Taste of Shrewsbury. And pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was.
You don’t have to go to Mardi-grass for shrimp and grits. Here they have creamy buttery stone-ground grits and perfectly seasoned shrimp with subtle flavors that made me want to stop right there but I had ordered pulled pork Benedict too.
Poached eggs cooked to perfection and what makes it better? Add slow braised pulled pork and apple slaw. Delicious.
And if white table linen is not your thing you can sit outside on the patio which has ample seating and watch the magnificent 30 foot cast iron water fall with its own story behind it.“
