“If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, safe, and FUN to go highly recommend. Awesome food and drinks ($5 sandwiches during happy hour!), lovely outdoor patio dining, and there are still games available to play sanitized between people! So happy to come back here again and get the same great service.“

“Not only is The Substation in Roslindale perfect for the Workhub Community space, but they also have a full bar and public programming now! You can attend public bar nights, book private events, and work from "home" all in the same beautiful, historically rich space. Could not recommend this place more. 🚎💚“

“I was looking for live music and beverages. Popped in here post 10pm on a Friday night and I have to say it was lit. Not only was the melanin flowing, the band was cot darn top notch!
It’s hard to find live music and this quaint bar rivals Wallys.
Don’t be intimated, it’s a welcoming environment.“

“I totally enjoy the drinks. They’re super awesome particularly there is one bartender. His name is Diego and he does such a great job. He actually affects his drinks and even if it doesn’t taste good, he actually finds a way to make it taste good. and they have the best Bolognese.“

“I absolutely love The Dot Tavern has got such a cute atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. And let's be real, the crowd is definitely a draw – lots of local hotties to appreciate. My personal favorite touch? The Marky Mark poster from his heyday – a truly iconic piece of decor!
I 10/10 recommend The Dot Tavern for a great time. You won't be disappointed!“
“The best bar in Dorchester! I was visiting the neighborhood on a Sat. night from out of town, and the bartender and clientele were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even brought in pizza from next door and shared it with everyone. :)
Thank you for your generosity!“
“Had breakfast here. The building architecture blew my mind. Thick old fashioned adornments round the interior doors were astonishing. Booths seemed to have come from a prohibition era bar. Chandeliers with soft lighting complimented the atmosphere. Can only imagine the feels come night time. Food was good, walked up to the window & told them so before leaving. If you're into Bloody Mary's, their house mix was nothing to write home about. Plenty of parking available & if you feel unsafe to drive, rent a room at the lovely Seacoast Inn across the street.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs you guys!!!“

“this public House feels like a public home. there is a great community of regular customers who are really nice people. they offer a full bar and food. there is an outdoor area with great ambiance and games. they have a lot of fun weekly activities like karaoke and live music. they also just got in a new pool table with beautiful new cloth and balls. I myself don't actually drink anymore so I don't spend a lot of money when I go there but I am treated like I am important, welcome and wanted. this is a great place to hang out. this is a real review. I don't work for this place in any capacity. I found it a couple of months ago and I'm glad that I did.“
“I was here for a party. It was a fun spot for all. Interesting assortment of cocktails, games for all ages, board games, foosball, retro video games, Comfy spaces to hang out and chat. Lots of interesting facts and history learned on the tour too. There is even parking out back which is a bonus.“

“First time at Cityside last night and it was great! The Nachos were so good I wish we had gotten a large, the buffalo wings had a nice crisp to them which made them amazing. For entrees I had the fish tacos which were good but not all that and my fiancé had the cheesesteaks which can’t be compared to cheesesteaks on the North shore but still good. The drinks were good but pretty pricey. My fiancé liked every drunk he got besides the Mai Tai. It was super nice being on the roof top which made the entire night 💕 I definitely would recommend.“

“Quiet during the day, good place you have lunch. Their pizza is great. I love bar pizza but that's not what this is. It's like pizza you'd get at a really good pizza place. I'm not talking about fancy pizza places, I'm talking about good pizza places.“
“My niece and nephew graduation celebration was held there at Unity. The place is nice, especially after my family and I decorated the tables and chairs. My family and their father's family made some good food. I took some food home. I enjoyed myself, thanks, everyone.“

“This place holds a special place in my heart as one of the last true Southie bars. It was my version of Cheers. However, with the passing of Tony, a lot of things have changed. I ordered a shot and was stunned when one shot was a whopping $14. I miss the days of Butter behind the bar and cheap drinks. I’ll cherish the memories but it’s just not the same anymore.“
“A bar with live music in JP. Remember to bring cash - no credit cards! They've been at this for a while, and the place looks tired, but we need more live music venues to help bands start out. The drinks are not expensive for Boston - worth a look if you find a band who plays the type of music you like.“

“The barbecue is very good. We had the brisket, which was fork tender, and the ribs. which were also tasty. We also enjoyed the collard greens, potato salad, mac & cheese and purple Cole slaw. The combo platters also came with the softest, sweetest bread. It was all delicious. The staff was great and very accommodating. We arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed (Summer hours had not yet been updated on Yelp) but the hostess seated us and took our order right away. The restaurant is part of PKLBoston. The space is enormous with five reserved pickle ball courts, areas to play corn hole and shuffleboard as well as two separate bar areas. The place is big enough to have several areas for private functions. Just be mindful of where you park. We unwittingly parked on a "Private Way" and our car was towed.“

“We went to cook on a Sunday for brunch on a table of 5 with 3 kids. Our server was Johnny who not only had everything on point but did absolutely everything to make sure we felt welcome, the kids were entertained (with extra drawings and crayons requests) and all that while he was training another server.
The food was really good (so much so that we plan to come back soon), we had draft and cocktails and we just didn’t try dessert, but the ambiance was nice, wasn’t too full and is definitely a great location to come back to.“

“A hidden gem that opened last year and now our weekly go-to for Japanese - sashimi, sushi, ramen and poke bowls. The staff is very friendly and the owner, Anna, makes you feel so at home. The sashimi/sushi are fresh, delicious and prepared beautifully. The cocktails are creative and well made - mai tais, pistachio martinis, you name it. The kids (and adults) enjoy various fruit teas/slushees with optional boba. They also offer Chinese and Thai food on the menu. Staples like beef teriyaki sticks, sichuan fried rice or tangerine beef are must haves and often added to our meals with lots of leftovers to go home with. Highly recommend Wasabi Asian Bistro&Bar to anyone looking for great Asian food.“

“5 STAR TREATMENT!!! We had my husbands surprise birthday party there last night for 40 guests and it went off without a hitch! Jim the manager went out of his way to check all the little details that make an event special from custom menus to an easel for a sign. The waitstaff was wonderful and accommodating! The food was wonderful and the room was comfortable! Nobody left the party early!!! Thank you Olivadi!“
