“An absolute delight, tucked away in the quaint Depot Street Market of Duxbury. This Chinese restaurant does it right. Friendly service, great food, and solid Mai Tai's. Its quality of food and drink blows the competition out of the water. I'll have to disagree with other reviews stating that this food lacks taste/quality. I've never been disappointed with it one bit. A great stop for takeout or dine-in experience. Thanks for staying in town so long!“

“Finally really good Chinese! Appetizers cooked nicely, rice old school-nice and dark and flavorful with a good amount of pork etc. egg foo young delish and excellent Marco polos delight. I ask for the this with pan fried noodle instead of soft and they were nice enough to package the noodle separately so they wouldn’t get soggy. We will be back!“

“This is not a dine in location, and I have only ever ordered for pick-up orders. With that said, this is the best Chinese food in the area and priced fairly. My family and I have been going here for years, as other local Chinese restaurants have fluctuated in their quality and pricing. I rarely have ever waited more than 10-15 minutes for my food to be ready, and I normally order at least a couple dinner combination plates. My go to is a Pupu platter for 4 and it’s always a crowd pleaser. The wife and husband who own the establishment are great, and they’re open later than any other restaurants in the area. Don’t change!“

“Boneless spareribs, pork fried rice, and beef teriyaki were all dried out and the chicken fingers had raw batter in the middle! The coke tasted like syrup with no carbonation and when brought to the attention of the waiter he said he was aware of the problem the machine is not working.“

“Friendly, fast, delicious and generous! I was on a drive and stopped in randomly to find the best Chinese food I've ever eaten and I can't wait to go back! Even brought some to my dad who is super picky and he's like "best egg foo young I've ever had!" which blew my mind lol. Great food and service! Thanks!“

“It's a nice little hidden gem for takeout. It gets really busy for dinner on the weekends. I don't recommend the salt and pepper chicken wings. They almost had no taste. I liked everything else.

“New for me. Japanese/Sushi/Chinese. Nicely done with the Rolls. Food is Great and Drinks are flavorful.
Parking: Two HP spots out front and shared parking with other businesses. Out back there's lots of free parking.

“The food and service here were fantastic. This isn't a sit-down restaurant. There are a couple of small tables if you want to sit and eat, but it's probably best if you order as take out. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic and friendly. I would definitely recommend eating here.“

“I come to this place at least twice a week if not more... I know how that sounds but it is true. The food is consistently delicious, hot, and quick. I am never, ever disappointed. Parking sometimes is a pain but it is worth it to spin around the block if you have to. Best chinese in plymouth!!“

“This is the first review I’ve ever written on any business. Usually I just go word of mouth. But that wouldn’t be enough. China Gourmet has the best Chinese Food on the south shore. What makes them stand out more is they have the best people as well. Winnie and her family are just nice/sweet people. Extra note…the scallion pancakes, beef teriyaki, chicken wings…actually the whole menu is my families favorite.“

“We've lived in the area for 12 years but only recently discovered Happy Dragon. Best ? Chinese ? Food ? Ever ? We've ordered take out at least 10 times and have never had an error on our order, everything is always fresh and good quality. I have never been a huge Chinese food eater but I could eat here every day! We have at least 5 Asian restaurants close by but we will make the drive for Happy Dragon.“
