“An absolute delight, tucked away in the quaint Depot Street Market of Duxbury. This Chinese restaurant does it right. Friendly service, great food, and solid Mai Tai's. Its quality of food and drink blows the competition out of the water. I'll have to disagree with other reviews stating that this food lacks taste/quality. I've never been disappointed with it one bit. A great stop for takeout or dine-in experience. Thanks for staying in town so long!“

“It's a nice little hidden gem for takeout. It gets really busy for dinner on the weekends. I don't recommend the salt and pepper chicken wings. They almost had no taste. I liked everything else.

They will put the meat you want in your food pretty cool. Comes with either rice or Lo Mein choice of 2 appetizers and a special dish With 9 choices to choose from. My special dish is egg foo young . The pricing is significantly below that of some of the more popular Chinese options in the area, namely Red Tea Garden and Sushi Joy, but I've been happy with with quality of the food. That's especially true of standards like fried rice, wonton soup, and king pao chicken. There is very limited seating; this place is geared to takeout. Online ordering costs a bit more, so you're better off calling your order in and saving even more versus the big guys around here.“

“This is the first review I’ve ever written on any business. Usually I just go word of mouth. But that wouldn’t be enough. China Gourmet has the best Chinese Food on the south shore. What makes them stand out more is they have the best people as well. Winnie and her family are just nice/sweet people. Extra note…the scallion pancakes, beef teriyaki, chicken wings…actually the whole menu is my families favorite.“

We've ordered take out at least 10 times and have never had an error on our order, everything is always fresh and good quality. I have never been a huge Chinese food eater but I could eat here every day! We have at least 5 Asian restaurants close by but we will make the drive for Happy Dragon.“
