“This is a no frill local spot with good apps (try the various eggrolls), decent prices, a good beer selection, touchtunes juke box, and pub trivia. There is also parking in a lot next door behind 7/11. It's a local institution that is consistent and doesn't disappoint.“
“We came from Chicago to explore Boston. After we visited Bunker Hill, we were looking for a place to hide from the rain. The only place that was close was the "Brewer's Forks". Honestly we were pretty skeptical at first, but we were extremy delighted by the very tasy, delicious food and warm and nice atmosphere. We loved it so much that we decided to stop by the next day again before we went to the airport! We met Jeorge and Kyle who are very professional, polite and nice guys. They helped us choose from their very interesting and outstanding pizza flavors. We have never tried such delicious pizza before. Also the big variety draft beers was very impressive. I would recommend everyone to visit this place. Delicious and authentic food all made fresh at the restaurant, professional stuff and warm atmosphere, everything that you need to feel good!!!“
“A truly special place full of warmth, hospitality, culture, and authenticity. Jason and the entire staff are genuinely happy to welcome you with easy smiles, friendly service, and authentic Scottish foods and spirits. The Haven transports you to Europe for the evening. A must visit for any Scotch and whisky fans. Can’t wait to go back.“
“Left another place to come here because the customer service was bad. What a 180. Citizen staff was friendly, great w/suggestions and helped secure me a seat at their busy bar. Had two great cocktails and a delicious pepper seared filet. Well done Citizen Pub!! I will be back!“
“Cocktail at the bar was good, Field Day was good drink. Good atmosphere, nice decor, friendly staff. The food looked delicious. Will try it sometime.Pro tip. March madness was on at the bar if you prefer watch sports. The tables are more spreading out for more privacy.“
“Had a delicious citrus-y fizzy cocktail to start. Dinner was Schnitzel, with mushroom sauce, warm potato salad....very generous servings, cooked to perfection. Finished with a dark beer. Everything was just perfect. Love the comfortable homey atmosphere and our server was great.“
“Brick & Mortar is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Cambridge! From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication. The ambiance is unparalleled, with cozy seating arrangements and just the right lighting to set the mood. The service here is top-notch, with staff who are attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready with a smile. Whether you're a cocktail connoisseur or a novice, they make you feel right at home.I had the pleasure of trying their golden banana cocktail, and it was simply divine! Each sip was a burst of flavor, perfectly balanced and expertly crafted. And let's not forget about the food – it's delicious! From small bites to more substantial dishes, there's something to satisfy every palate.Overall, Brick & Mortar gets a resounding 100% recommendation from me. If you're in the mood for a fantastic drink and a memorable experience, look no further than this charming spot in Central Square. You won't be disappointed!“
“Stopped here for a drink (Irish Coffee) and Spinach Artichoke app. Food was on the pricey side (~$46 without tips for 2 drinks and the app), but service and the decor were very nice! The app was tasty, and the Irish coffee was okay (not the best I've had)“
“Great dependable neighborhood spot for dinner and weekend brunch. They have also been great to work with for special events. I am so glad they have been in Union Square for as long as they have and I sincerely hope they continue for years to come.“
“The best option for drinks and food in the Weymouth landing area. Unfortunately the center is really lacking when it comes to good restaurants, so this is the place to go. My boyfriend and I stopped in one night for drinks and some picky food. We ended up ordering a side of fries and two mixed drinks. Fries were good, nicely seasoned and the drinks were good as well.My only gripe is that the drinks are expensive for what you get, and I wish they had more vegetarian options. I also wish they were open later since this is more of a "cocktail bar" atmosphere. Overall though its a great option for a night out. I would recommend checking it out.“
“Great "local" spot. Great service. Plentiful street parking within two blocks of restaurant. EXTREMELY cold on a cold night. We wore our coats during the meal. Food was excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. Drinks were reasonably priced. All-female staff was pleasant, engaging, attentive, welcoming. I would definitely return in warmer seasons...“
“Actually came downtown to go to a show that's actually next week on the same day...Stopped in for a wee drink and smelled the delicious waft of the house burger next to me.You might think a house burger in a small side bar is somewhat risky....Don't.Worth every penny...Ask for the Malt Vinegar behind the bar for the fries.Good assortment on tap, we're in Boston, but try the R.I. Whalers on tap. Clean and crisp...Ask for Dickie- Service with a Smile!!!Don't forget extra napkins -You'll need them .Nom! Nom! Nom!Extra bonus Silver Sun Pickups was playing in background ??“
“I always order pick up! I have not had an opportunity to sit down inside yet! I am amazed at how True North Kitchen’s food has high quality flavor and portion sizes! I wanted to try different dishes before giving my honest review! I have tried the following: Chicken Parmesan, Fish/Shrimp & Fries, Cole Slaw, Asparagus, Salad, Cheesecake, Canoli, and Fried Pickes! Not one dish was a disappointment! :)As of Thursday, March 28, 2024, True North Kitchen is officially my number one go to eatery in Weymouth! The ladies that work at the front desk are professional and super nice as well! Thank you all so much for everything! Please keep doing great work for your customers!“
“This is our Friday spot! We love the staff, the food and the atmosphere. We watch all our favorite sports on the TVs and play a few board games while waiting for our food. We love the food. They always have new specials. They have my favorite cut of fries! Always a hit here.Kid-friendliness: We go earlier in the night and love bringing our 5 year old. We come every Friday. We play the board games and golf arcade game.“
“I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work and effort put in to today's brunch. Everyone kept commenting on how nice the space looked, how cute the menus were and how good the food was! You all were so attentive and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Thanks for helping us celebrate our friends' new babies!“
“The irony is that all my companions tonight were not fans of either whiskey nor raw seafood, the two specialties of Citizen Public House, but thankfully all the other food and drink options were plentiful and very delicious! The spicy deep fried pickles were super addictive, the endive winter salad was so flavorful with a very nose-tingly horseradish dressing, cauliflower cream pan fried gnocchi was divine, and especially enjoyed the duck pot pie with root veggies. Our server was so charismatic, attentive and kind. Could not recommend coming here enough! And would love to come back and try their raw seafood bar :)“
“I've been coming here every 2-3 months since the early 2000s and it hasn't changed. Still better than average pub grub (the salmon burger I had today was good, although the basic salad instead of fries was really boring with almost non-existent dressing). As the oldest brewpub in the Boston area, they've continued to up their brewing game and make an excellent and constantly changing variety of beers. This past weekend was their Sour Fest, and since I missed that, I ordered a flight of 3 small pours ($12.75) of the sours they still had remaining (photo). They were all good, but I particularly liked the "Time Curve Prelude #1" Biere de Coupage with berries and black currants, which was the most sour.“
“At a party for PhD graduation, Blackmoor's planning was easy and excellent, the waiters were the soul of hospitality, standout apps of a beautiful fruit platter and a lovely hummus platter with choice ingredients. Jumbo shrimp bowl, Mac and Cheese with and without lobster and roasted vegetables were very tasty.Vegetarian options: Roasted Italian veggies, Mac and cheeseWheelchair accessibility: One-floor plan, large doors, low top tables“
“I had the best time! From the minute we walked in the door, the staff was so accommodating (we showed up with two suitcases as we had a flight out later in the day!) The drinks were quick, the food was delicious, the queens were amazing (and even stayed after to chat with us!). The manager checked on us, and everyone was so nice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.“
“Absolutely great spot in Downtown Quincy! Pictured is the pork shank, but everything we had was delicious. The prices are also an amazing value as we each had an entree, two drinks, dessert and the bill was only $84! Will definitely be back!!“
