“Mama Bear's Kitchen makes the absolute BEST dairy-free pizza around! No idea where they source their dairy-free cheese, but it melts well and stays smooth/creamy. I love banana peppers and online ordering doesn't allow you to add them unless you write it in the comments. Pretty sure they also have anchovies, too.
Excellent service - food is always ready and employees are always kind. Since we live a ways away, we always buy enough for multiple meals and it keeps well.

“Worth a trip on the T to JP just for this pizza. Small place with 3 stools to sit so grab your pizza and find somewhere to eat it. Got the Salsiccia pizza and the pesto sauce was delicious and pizza was cooked well. no soggy slice. It was a 15ish minute wait“

“It's almost the only Mazesoba restaurant in downtown Boston, and the rolls and Mazesoba are delicious!! However, the inside of the store is small and there is a long line on weekend evenings, so you have to wait outside and it is very cold in the winter.“

“The Halloumi Cheese Pita and/or Plates with Charred Eggplant and Garlic Skordalia spreads are my favorites. I especially love the Charred Eggplant spread as it’s extremely tasty and unique. I don’t recommend getting meat as the protein as it’s usually pretty dry.

The Zucchini Chips are also my go-to side dish.

The Loukomades (Greek donuts) are good, but nothing special.

It’s a bit hard to navigate in the Newbury location when it’s crowded as it’s so small“

Price: depending on what you ask (+tax) comes out to $12-$15. Most food places around the square are “pricey”, but Cava is definitely a HEALTHIER option than most places

“I did not think they had the biggest selection but it was good and love the strawberry lemonade refresher with boba. And it was also a bit pricey. I liked the atmosphere and it was really clean and a pretty nice building and it’s around a good area with a bus stop right outside. I recommend building your own poke bowl and getting a drink because they are all good. Also the vegetables are very fresh.

Second, the cashir Malak is an amazing and kind person, her manager is great and kind too. They gave us a new item in the menu to try for free and it was amazing. Finally when we left we thought to order a pickup order to eat at home next day and when I came to pick up I found out that I had chosen the wrong branch by mistake. “This was my first experience with Blaze Pizza, and it was fantastic. The build your own pizza option was ideal for group of friends out shopping and enjoying Boston. The original crust is perfectly thin and crispy and tasted freshly made. You get to choose your own sauce and they have many options. I got the creamy white sauce base with mozzarella, grilled chicken, black olives, roasted broccoli, and mushrooms. It was so good and was 6 reasonably sized slices. I brought half of mine home. You’d think a custom made pizza would take awhile, but it didn’t. The pizza oven was right in front so you could see your pizza cooking. They have a few dessert options, but we were too full to try any. I do think the s’mores pie would have been gooey perfection with just a few seconds in the pizza oven. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal!“

“I am a self-proclaimed pizza snob and generally only enjoy NY-style pizza, but Royal Pizza & Subs makes an excellent pizza that rivals what I grew up eating. The sauce was perfectly seasoned, the sauce-to-cheese ratio was ideal, and the pepperoni was high quality. The medium-thickness crust was slightly different from NY-style pizza, but so delicious that I didn’t mind one bit! (It was a bit softer and chewier than what I’m used to, and I didn’t notice any semolina flour on the bottom.) My spouse doesn’t usually eat the crust, but we both finished every last bit of our slices! The pizza was a little greasy because of the generous portion of pepperoni, but who would complain about that?! Nothing a few napkins can’t fix!

The staff were super friendly and the service was great: our pizza was ready so quickly! The prices were also extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food. I am so happy that this restaurant is so close to home: it’s going to become a regular place for us to eat at! We only tried the pepperoni pizza last night, but I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. If you’re in Somerville, don’t miss the chance to eat here!“
