“Filet was the best we've ever had. Appetizer was wagyu ravioli, delicious and the wagyu steak inside was cooked to a great MR temp. Of course the bread and butter was top notch. We had the Mac n cheese and small baked potato which was delicious. The small complimentary anniversary dessert was delicious, but we also got the Tiramisu Baked Alaska which was Devine. Request the downstairs, but upstairs apparently had a party and we could hear the footsteps of apparently children running. I'm sure it was a private party but you could hear it.“

“The amazing service was the standout. We started with lobster bisque, had filet mignon, whipped potatoes and asparagus for our entrees, and finished with chocolate cake and cappuccinos. I have had better steak (it wasn't melt in your mouth tender) but it was still really great, and the overall experience was wonderful. Cocktails and wine were also perfect. Highly recommend and will be back!!!“

We are blown away each and every time we have visited by how kind, prompt and knowledgeable everyone is. Our server Zak was awesome, we very much enjoyed his company and how professional he was. The ambiance in there is also just great for a date night. Our waiter, William, was wonderful and brought us a slice cheesecake for my birthday dessert. I will definitely return!“

“Went for a business event. Visiting Boston from Copenhagen, Denmark. Nice food, good beer, nice atmos. But when we left it was heavy rain. Our Uber app didn't work for some reason. Tried to get a taxi. No luck. Went back in, asked if they could order a taxi, but the taxis would only come if we paid over the phone. Wasn't to keen about that. The manager said, after trying to get a taxi, I'll book an Uber, and she paid for it. She didn't want any payment. I only had 10S in cash which probably could cover it, or most of it. However beside the point, the manager covered our Uber ride, and just asked us to do a good deed to someone else instead. Wow, that was impressive and not something I have ever tried anywhere. A very beautiful end to a nice evening at the Yardhouse. Thanks a million, much appreciated.“

Although we had a reservation, I asked to sit somewhere less formal, and the hostess immediately offered us a perfect high-top table in the bar area. The atmosphere was lively, but relaxed-conversations buzzing, TVs muted, and drinks shaking. Our wine, filets, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach were hot, delicious, and perfectly timed for our evening plans. “We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and my retirement, and wanted to do it up right! We picked the right place for it. Coming in from Cape Cod, for a concert at Fenway we had reservations for Abe and Louie’s, but there were 2 at the bar so they let us sit there instead of our table. Our bartenders were great. To our surprise, Bree almost immediately said “Happy Anniversary!” And our drink order was taken. Michelle made a spicy margarita with a nice kick and a heavy glass, and a soda. Then we ordered shrimp cocktail which were brought out in mere moments. The shrimp were huge and cold and crunchy- perfect! We took our time and were not rushed to order our meal, but once we did, with Kendal, she asked all the right questions, offered to split our salad in the kitchen, and made some great recommendations. I wanted my Filet with their wedge salad as my entree and was told no problem. Our meal, my huge filet and my man’s ribeye were both cooked as requested and his suggested garlic whipped potatoes were creamy and yummy! The food was all out of this world, but what made the dining a true experience was the tango these three women danced around each other, each knowing what the other was doing and exactly what their patrons wanted. You can get a great filet many places but I pay for the service and we both felt like we were treated like royalty. Thank you Bree, Kendal and Michelle for making our anniversary and my retirement a true celebration!!“

“I can see why the place would get a bad rap due to how it looks and seems. But the lady was as wonderful as they come and clearly takes care into making the hot food from scratch. Would recommend the meatball sub as she makes them and the sauce everyday.“

I usually don't get a coursed/set menu but they had a wonderful option with add ons/upgrades that made it so much fun to splurge. Can't say enough good things about the staff and food. Too bad going out isn't what it used to be in terms of the clientele wearing decent clothes. I'm old school ... no baseball hats or sweatshirts at the table. Have some manners and pride.“
