“My wife and I stopped here on the way home from an errand and were glad we did. We loved everything about this restaurant. My wife had the Corsair Grilled Quesadillas with bacon which she loved. I had the Loaded Piper Cub roast beef sandwich and it was awesome. Large servings and the home made onion rings are well worth the couple extra bucks for a side. The only problem for us is that this place is a little too far away from our house to visit too regularly, but we will definitely be back.“

“Some of the best comfort food you will ever find. My dad knew about the Dog House when it was in Weld Square in the 60’s and our family has been loyal customers ever since. Do yourself a favor and get a grilled steak sandwich with cheese and onions when they have them because they run out, they run out. While their burgers are fresh ( and not frozen ) and a million times better than the fast food places, don’t look past their full blown dinners like fresh scallop plates, French meat pie and fish and chips. Lunch counters like this are few and far between with plenty of free parking across the street.“

“Location is convenient when we leave Cape Cod for the world beyond. The food quality is consistently good. I generally enjoy a steak; my wife choses between steak, salmon or prime rib. Nothing is overly seasoned and always cooked just as ordered. The bread loaf is a nice treat, and we usually have salads as well. Our server, FLORENDY, is a joy any time we are lucky enough to have her. One of the best we have seen in any restaurant, regardless of price points. “Good Food I was very pleasantly surprised by this inconspicuous little restaurant. It was really hard to decide what to order. There were so many choices-pizza, pasta, seafood, steak, prime rib and some unexpected dishes like lobster ravioli. I had deliciously creamy clam chowder loaded with potatoes and tender clams, perfectly cooked scallops and warm bread pudding loaded with whipped cream. “It's quaint and rustic. Lots of windows and hardwood floors. I had the crustless quiche (a/k/a frittata) with tomatoes and spinach. It came with a small side salad. It was delicious. “Bayside is a restaurant/bar, or I should say a bar/restaurant. It's not a beautiful interior and no quiet romantic dining here. Many customers seem to be local regulars and I find it to be a friendly place. Every food item I have ordered has been fantastic. Their burgers are very good but their seafood is some of the freshest tasting that I have found in the New Bedford area. Most dishes are served with either fries or tater tots and they are great too.“

The swordfish was cooked to perfection with a flavorful blackened crust that added a delightful smoky touch. The jambalaya was a true taste of New Orleans, with a harmonious blend of spices you could differentiate, comes w/ tender shrimp, and savory sausage. Ohhh my gwwaad! The portions were generous, and the presentation was visually appealing. Everything matched well. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying the seared blackened swordfish and jambalaya dish at Joe's. Idk what it is about this spot but they have an entire staff that cares from the second you walk through the doors, let's be honest that my friends is very Very rare nowadays.
