“We hosted our baby shower at Travelers Alehouse today and we couldn't have picked a better location/caterer. The manager and owner were amazing with communication leading up to the event. The staff was incredibly thoughtful and helpful when it came to helping us setup the day-of. They never let my cup go empty and constantly checked in on how we were doing. Would easily recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. The food was unbelievably good, no surprise since their restaurant food is always top notch. The options of menus for the event is what truly pulled me in. Thank you so much to every single employee that had a hand in making today amazing for my husband and me. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful experience.“

“Stopped here with some friends on a Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised not to have a wait even though the restaurant was pretty busy. It’s in a nice little strip mall like building with other establishments around it as well.

The restaurant itself is your standard breakfast restaurant. Nothing impressive but serviceable. The waitstaff were friendly and the prices were incredibly reasonable. Breakfast for 4 people only cost $62. Can’t beat those prices!

I ended up ordering a hot tea and the hash Benedict. The hollandaise was good and the eggs were poached well. My only complaint was that the hash was clearly canned (which makes sense with the prices being so low) and the bun they make the Benedict on was pretty thick. My friends did enjoy their food as well. Definitely would go back and try some other things on the menu!“

“Some of the best breakfast food in southern New England. This was one of my dad’s go to places to get linguica cheese rolls or a well made omelette with prices that don’t break the bank and very good service in the process. This place has meant a lot to me and my family over the years and the fact that we have absolutely no problem waking up early traveling from Cape Cod to go here speaks volumes which is why it’s always a treat when we do go.“

I had ordered a to go dinner for my husband and when I got it home to him, his chicken seemed raw. I called them just to let them know what had happened. “This is officially our new favorite brunch spot! Food and service are truly amazing! Scott was our server this past weekend, and he made us feel like we’d been coming here for years. We got the zucchini fritter Benedict, a Belgium waffle with fresh berries and a breakfast burrito with sausage, home fries and fresh pico de gallo. The menu had a nice selection of Benedicts - We can’t wait to go back and try them all! The zucchini fritter and crispy prosciutto complimented each other perfectly, and inspired us to crisp up our own prosciutto. What a creative twist on an old classic! The waffle had the perfect amount of sweetness and the variety of fresh berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries) was a nice addition that gave it a little tartness. They added roasted red peppers to the breakfast burrito which really made it stand out, and we loved the fresh pico! The restaurant also has a full bar and lots of specialty brunch drinks. There is high-top seating at the bar area, as well as tables throughout the restaurant. We did not have to wait this past Sunday when we arrived at noon, but we were told it does get busy on the weekends, so there could be wait times. Prices were reasonable, which is rare nowadays, and the portions were generous. The quality and creativity of the dishes absolutely blew us away. This place is truly special! I ordered the Two Egg Breakfast with sausage and white toast, adding 4 extra eggs for an additional $1.25 each. All six eggs were cooked sunny side up perfectly. The iced coffee was adequate, but the service was the standout—the staff was incredibly kind and the food came out very quickly.

“Oh my goodness, we had the BEST experience at this restaurant. The restaurant has a comfortable, family like feel. You can tell most of the people are regulars. The food was excellent seafood, fresh and well prepared. Each dish our large group got was thoroughly enjoyed. But, the BEST part of the experience was our waitress, Joyelle. She was the only waitress in the room, which she took control of with ease, and she was so funny. My dad's a jokester, and she gave it right back. We had a lot of fun and we laughed and laughed. She took great care of us. So, couple divine food with an amazing personality taking care of us - you get perfection.“

“I loved the food, but if you say your dog friendly then actually be considerate if a dog barks once or twice. I was told I would have to leave if my dog barks again (only barked once because he got excited about food and being in a new place). Just my opinion, but if you list yourself as a dog friendly place then you should expect not all dogs are just going to sit still and not bark or move around a bit. Dogs aren’t made to just sit still. I would love to come back as long as they don’t complain about me bringing my dog.“

“Pretty awesome little stop. Got two fish and chips. The gentleman working there was pleasant and funny, like that quirky uncle you only see once a year at Thanksgiving.
Fish was cooked perfect, xtra thick filet, i didnt ask but i think it was cod, generous portion of fries.
Will be back to try out more of the menu and shakes.

“Honestly, I haven’t been to this Applebees in a while. It is kind of a hit or miss with the food and waitress. Me and my sister went on 1/10 around 1-2:30pm. The waitress we had was amazing, nice , efficient, quick, communicative. Our drinks were brought out timely, the food was fresh, hot and well cooked. I even added a little to take home. It was great customer service and a great dine in experience.“

“This is a great place to grab a drink and listen to live music. Not a place I would grab food again. I’ve given it a couple of tries and the food both times has taken a long time to come out. First time we had a large group (place was empty) but we decided to give it another try recently. We didn’t have elaborate meals - 3 meals for takeout. Salad, chicken and chips, and grilled tenders and cucumber salad. My allergy free salad had a crouton in it the first time I ate there and the chicken has dark black grill marks. The second time I ordered it with the house dressing and beef tips - it was told to me it was gluten and dairy free. Once I got the salad home, I realized they had packed blue cheese instead. The beef tips on it were terrible as well. The manager/owner comes out to discuss allergens but it doesn’t appear that anyone checks the orders like at other restaurants I have been to. I’m aware it’s always a risk going out but that shows they didn’t put attention to my gluten allergy free order either time. The cucumber salad was soggy and disgusting, not prepared that day. It’s an awesome place to check out for a drink and music but the food (at least options we selected) were not great regardless of the allergy vs non allergy items. Definitely check out for a drink and the music, great atmosphere for that.“

“Great pizza 🍕!! Prime rib is a good portion! Hot meatball grinder or ziti with meatballs is also a favorite. Excellent fish and chips-freshest fish ever! Great atmosphere and reasonably priced. Oh, they have a salad 🥗 with grilled chicken, dried cranberries, cheese 🧀, cukes, onions and they have a raspberry vinaigrette that is sooooo good!! I make my own but this I could drink by the glass!! Lol 😂“

Our son attends a nearby college so we visit this IHOP when we are in town for his games. We love to sit at the counter. “Tried Back Door Burgers for the 1st time. Sounds like it's no longer a back or side door. Pickup is in Merrills and with the hostess. Went with the Brooklawn burger. Added a second patty and bacon. Couldn't taste the bacon jam, wondering if it was light or missed. Added some burger sauce at home and it helped. The onion rings were good. Meal was very pricey after the upcharges.“

“The epitome of Family Owned Restaurant ❤️ We come from West Springfield to enjoy the delicious breakfast and wonderful staff. This past Mother's Day we showed up at 8 am without a reservation (I never even thought of it) We were so nervous we wouldn't get a spot but the wonderful staff said no problem and we were seated within minutes. Our food was excellent and the waitress was beyond helpful. I always order extra water for my personal cup (obviously Mom has the best cup of water) and fill it then get more water to drink at the table.
