“The vibes? Immaculate. The service? Amazing. The food? INCREDIBLE! We got the beef stew and the shepards put and they were both INCREDIBLE!!!! The beef stew broth was so flavorful and well spiced and the beef was tender and juicy. The shepards pie truly had no business being as good as it was. They use lamb CHUNKS which was amazing!!! I also got a glass of smithwicks which was also delicious. HIGHLY recommend!“

“The Irish Village has always been a great place to have quality pints at an affordable price and lots of fun to be had. Though it is a local pub with a wonderful group of regulars the doors are always open to everyone. Recently, The Village has opened a cool new back room that will feature live music, pub quiz, open mics, and karaoke. There will truly be something for everybody to enjoy. So please come on down!“

“Went for a quick lunch and sat in a booth, across from the bar. The food and prices were great. The service, from the bartender, was good and friendly. The bathroom was actually pretty clean. I had a very good pastrami sandwich with French Fries and my guest had a nice Irish Stew. Would definitely recommend and return. ???“

“Overall a decent Irish style pub in Boston. The food and pricing was good. The service was good as well. I'd go there again...note $10 Guiness pints (20oz) when I was there April 2024.Kid-friendliness: Restaurant/bar area - a lot of kids in the restaurant area. Note, this was at lunch...not sure how kid friendly it would be in the evening.“

“What more could you want? The food is amazing and the atmosphere checks all the boxes! You want to watch sports, enjoy your meal, indoors, outdoors...Donohue's has it! I've been here many times, staff is always very friendly, inviting and leaves you with a hometown bar/restaurant vibe. There is available street parking, I've never had difficulty finding a spot.They do theme nights, trivia, live music... check them out! You wont be disappointed and you'll be back!“

“My wife and I vacationed to Boston a couple of weeks ago and this was where we ate at the first night we were there. She got a chicken pot pie, while I got a Reuben. Both were absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Boston.“

“Best Irish Pub in the City ,in my humble opinion !Terrific owners who are so engaged in the Community for many Organizations.Food is real Home Cooking & their Specials for Lunch & Dinner are a Great Value ! The Cooking Staff really flexes their muscles on a Daily basis with a wide variety of appetizers, soups ,chowders and salads.Main Menu is marked with Traditional Irish Favorites as well as American fare & you'll find something fror everyone to treat your taste buds .Don't forget the Fresh Seafood which is delivered daily. “The local watering hole nearby changed owners, so all the people I came here to avoid now eat here. Oh well, thats not the restaurants fault.lt's a fairly standard Irish themed bar with a long bar, lots of beer varieties, and a wide food menu selection. Service is either really awesome with an enthusiastic wait staff, or so-so with one specific person who seems inconvenienced to be open.Favorites here include the appetizer combo, Mac & cheese (sometimes Buffalo and other flavors are available seasonally), the Galway burger, the Shepards Pie and the Beef Stew.“

“A bar as comfortable as a well worn pair of shoes. A chill vibe and excellent food!Oysters were plump and fresh, their Asian prep is great: yuzu soy, ginger and wasabi. Very tasty! Their house cocktail sauce is good too.The Smoked Seafood.Chowder was a surprising standout! Chock full of smoked fish and in a "not too rich" cream base, this isn't an overly thickened chowder and one of the best chowder I've had.Lobster Roll is very good and well priced. Not too overly dressed and LOTS of minced lobster, topped off with a strip of bacon. Seems to be a P-Town thing, bacon on a Lobstah Roll. I'm not mad at it at all! Good sweet potato fries, the harissa sauce can use more harissa. The CURRY FRIES are legit!Good beer and whisky selection.“
