“A bar as comfortable as a well worn pair of shoes. A chill vibe and excellent food!Oysters were plump and fresh, their Asian prep is great: yuzu soy, ginger and wasabi. Very tasty! Their house cocktail sauce is good too.The Smoked Seafood.Chowder was a surprising standout! Chock full of smoked fish and in a "not too rich" cream base, this isn't an overly thickened chowder and one of the best chowder I've had.Lobster Roll is very good and well priced. Not too overly dressed and LOTS of minced lobster, topped off with a strip of bacon. Seems to be a P-Town thing, bacon on a Lobstah Roll. I'm not mad at it at all! Good sweet potato fries, the harissa sauce can use more harissa. The CURRY FRIES are legit!Good beer and whisky selection.“

“As a group of four girls we had a fun time going out and getting drinks at Buddy Early’s. For a Friday night it was busy but not as busy as someplace like Miami or New York. Biddy Early’s was bustling and then the surrounding streets and areas were quiet and deserted. Good music and a chill time.“

“I love this place. My friends introduced it to me when I first moved to the area and my husband, son, and I have been going ever since. They do dollar oysters every day until 5:30pm, which is hard to find these days. It's the best deal in town! We also love the poutine and there's usually a few great local/seasonal beers on draft. “I love Saloon! Speakeasy feel, great food, and cocktails. Service was super attentive and helpful! My partner and I enjoyed the truffled mushroom toast, roasted octopus, and a burger. Everything was delectable. Parking can be tough in the area. I would definitely make reservations in advance.“

“Hosted a private event in the second floor space (private bar, restroom, and sound system) and it went perfectly. Comfortably fit 50 guests. Staff were attentive and friendly. Ray was responsive and helpful with planning leading up to the event. Pints were delicious.“

“First visit, so we got two of their specialty flights, each containing four small pours of their local beer, chosen especially for summer time. One flight was IPA focused, and had a range of moderate hoppiness, along with one juicy, in-your-face over hopped wonders. The other flight featured a delicious raspberry sour beer, plus an addictive "brewtini" beer cocktail. Service was so friendly and welcoming, and I liked their outdoor beer garden. We brought lunch from a neighborhood restaurant.“

“We frequent Cook at least once a week. It’s our favorite place in Needham. The staff, the food, the atmosphere never disappoints. Although the entire staff is tremendous, we especially enjoy when Anderson is on the bar. He’s beyond friendly and always attentive. He makes a flawless drink with his rhythmic shaker!! “If you are ever in Boston this is place is a must, staff is always great. A couple years ago after a Celtics game we stumbled to this bar, and we had to come again before we left Boston on that trip we loved the burgers, staff and atmosphere so much. We came back recently last week and we had to stop at Porter's luggage and all ? they were super accommodating and we really loved our time there again. For me and my guy it's our spot when we're in Boston“

Soft brioche like bun that actually fits the burger . I was blown away . Also one of the few places with Harp on tap . Menu is limited right now but hopefully all the food will be as good as this Burger !!“

“If you're a fan of the show, a visit to this restaurant is a must while you're in Boston. While the restaurant is very crowded, even at 11.30 am when we had lunch, the food and service were both great. This is definitely a touristy type experience, so I don't know if I'd come back, but our visit today was certainly a lot of fun and highly recommended!“

“This is a no frill local spot with good apps (try the various eggrolls), decent prices, a good beer selection, touchtunes juke box, and pub trivia. There is also parking in a lot next door behind 7/11. It's a local institution that is consistent and doesn't disappoint.“

“Went to night shift brewery the night before thanksgiving with basically my whole family and I couldn’t have asked for a better night (despite losing at the casino) The entire experience was amazing. Vibes were incredible. Adam, the bartender, was the most fun and welcoming server I have ever had. We all agreed he deserves a raise.“

“Very nice spot for food and drinks. Our waitress service started out good and then went down hill. I've never seen an ice tray with oyster shells, used lemons and plates stay the entire dinner melting away. I was never asked if I wanted another $14 drink which I'm sure the owner wants to sell. We also had to share our water. My wife said (she just watched you taking some of my water and never came over) A little food left and we finally were served a carafe of water. Waited a while for the check. Several tables around us empty. I stood up to find someone and she came over.“

“The Sports Emporium right on Rte. 3A in Weymouth is a super cozy watering hole that serves top notch food and daily specials. The service is exceptionally skilled, friendly and always on point. The interior is very clean and they always have sports playing on their 8 perfectly placed TVs. The live music is always talented bands that are super fun and keep you coming back for more. Today I had the Mushroom Chicken with white wine garlic cream sauce served over linguine. It was fantastic! This is not just a bar to have a cold beer but also a destination spot to fill your belly! Do yourself a favor and stop in!“

“I recommend anything but the calzones. I’ve ordered food a bunch of times from Franco’s, a few times in person and 3 times via Grubhub. All 3 times I ordered through Grubhub I chose a calzone. The first time the calzone was cooked fantastically, but the last 2 times it was raw dough in the middle where the folds are. The last time I ordered a calzone which happened to be raw in the middle I just threw it away because I didn’t have time to make a complaint. I ordered another calzone tonight hoping it was just a fluke (New cook? Just super busy and overlooked? Whatever, we all make mistakes NBD) since everything else in my order was perfect. When it arrived I checked the calzone and it was raw again. I made the decision to call the restaurant to let them know and to see if I could send it back for something different. The man on the phone told me I was wrong and that he cooked it himself and it wasn’t raw because “he checked”. I told him it most certainly was raw and that I was hoping for an exchange. He said he couldn’t do anything for me and I’d have to call Grubhub about that. He said I’d have to go in person to exchange it. I said “okay fine I guess I’ll call Grubhub” and then he said something I couldn’t understand and hung up on me. I’m really disappointed. I frequent Franco’s for karaoke and spend money at the bar and restaurant often enough to expect a fair exchange and some decent customer service when I need it. I asked for his help and he offered me nothing. Order anything else but the calzones unless you like your dough to be raw, I guess? I HIGHLY recommend the jalapeño poppers though. They’re always perfect and a surprisingly good size.“
