Boomin’ Beef Rendang: This was my first time trying rendang, so I can't comment on its authenticity, but I'm certain it was delicious. It's very similar to a typical Chinese home-style beef brisket stew, just with a subtle touch of coconut milk and curry. The beef was perfectly marbled with fat and lean, stewed until incredibly tender and flavorful; the thick sauce clung to the meat and permeated the rice, making every bite a rich and aromatic experience. The potatoes were soft and tender, and the green beans had a slightly crunchy texture, both perfectly balanced. It's worth mentioning that the meat portion was huge; nearly half-bowl in the picture was completely filled with beef. While it's not anything fancy, it was really satisfying to eat it quickly without worry.

“My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!“

For the record, it was 1 BBQ burger. It looked like something you'd get at McDonald's. And tasted like the Rodeo Cheeseburger at Burger King. Actually brought back lots of memories from my childhood. “First, Chick-fil-A usually has great customer service. There is usually nothing missing in the order. Typically, I have not issues with the food. This time the chicken and fries seemed like they were possibly fried in a different type of oil. There’s a distinct odor that the chicken and fries had. I was barely able to eat the food the time.That’s said, i’ve noticed the same odor to other area restaurants that fry food (not just Chick-fil-A )

The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was easily the star of the meal. Perfectly crispy, juicy, and balanced with that sweet-and-spicy combo that just works. Honestly, no complaints there — a true 10/10 sandwich.
