“Thanksgiving in Chinatown and my daughter and her best friend wanted Boba and his Mom and I wanted coffee. Cafe Darq was most definitely the right choice. They loved their Boba, his Mom had her Vietnamese coffee and I ended getting the Hot Chocolate Darq. Perfect for a cold evening.“

“The atmosphere is very playful, low lit and cozy. I could see myself coming here to work, grab a snack or hang out with friends. They have a few games like jenga and uno and a selection of food. I got 3 different types of the onigiri (Kani, Shrimp tempura, and baked salmon) and they were all fresh and delicious. I started with shrimp tempura and it was so good I went back for the other two. That alone will keep me coming back. The oreo milk was nice, but the onigiri were the stars. I would definitely recommend coming to try the food.“

“I had been on the road all day and stopped in for a coffee. I was kind of torn between the Ube latte and the tiramisu latte, so I asked the server what her preference was. She remarked that the Ube latte seemed to be more popular, but that she, herself, really liked the tiramisu latte. I went with her suggestion with brown sugar boba and out was one of the best I've ever had! Tasted just like a bite of tiramisu! Soooo goood!!! They have a good selection of different milk and fruit teas, as well as a variety of coffees and small pastries. The shop is very cozy and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! If you like boba and you are in the area, I highly recommend Teaholic!! Go check them out! I'm sure you won't be disappointed!“

Tea by the Sea has some incredible Matcha. Cool, refreshing, and just hits the spot. The store itself is nestled within a community center but has all around amazing views of Downtown Boston. Overall, recommend a visit if you’re in East Boston and craving some quality tea.“

“This spot is very cute and smells amazing. I love the squirrel! We ordered brown sugar boba and the seasonal white peach oolong tea with white boba. I was a little hesitant because I've had wipe over before that was not very good but this white boba was delicious. It was just a perfect texture and amount of chewiness. They called it Honey White boba so it was sweetened. My drink had fresh peach in it and I absolutely love oolong tea so I love any tea shop that does oolong tea. They also have food here but I didn't try it. This is probably one of my top five favorites!“

“We came in today with our friends and our daughter. The staff were incredibly accommodating, providing a high chair and making sure we had what we needed. The owners came over and were attentive and showed enthusiasm for us being there as well interacting with our daughter. Food and drink was incredible and came out quick.
Would absolutely come again. It was so lovely to have a meal where it felt celebrated to have a kid with us and to be able to enjoy good food at the same time.“

“I got the pork bao bun and a melon cream soda. The prices were great. And the food was so good I was legitimately surprised. I don't normally leave reviews. But I had to give these guys a shout. I couldn't eaten like 12 of those things they were so good“

“Ordered the strawberry yogurt slush and it was truly amazing! I chose the lowest sugar level and you can really taste the fresh fruit in there (the natural strawberry aroma). The yogurt is creamy and flavorful, and the crystal boba (not sure if that’s the name, the slightly crunchy one) in the drink is fresh too.

“I always love coming here for a nice sweet treat, but today was even more amazing.

Before coming into the store I happened to have a really creepy encounter. Maybe it was anxiety and paranoia, but I felt like the creepy person was following me and seemed to have noticed I was in the store. I was really unsettled, but the beautiful amazing workers there took a look outside for me to make sure the person wasn't there after he passed by and made sure I got in my friend's car safetly. I felt really safe and cared for not as a customer, but as a person and that really says a lot about the staff who work there.

“I’ve been coming to this place numerous times by now, it actually became my weekly go to. The Thai tea is so good, I’m a huge fan of Thai tea, and yet I can tell you that they don’t make their Thai tea with powder, they BREWED the tea. You can’t believe how many stores put their use powder to make Thai tea. Customer service are always on point, never disappointed, they will bring your order to you if they are not that busy. And if you haven’t tried the Taiwan sausage, you missed out on one of the best things in this world. Give that a shot if you haven’t! Good Job Cha Kung Fong!“

“Amazing place! As soon as you step inside, the smell of tea brewing washes over you. I can’t describe how good it smells! I ordered a brown sugar fresh milk tea and my aunt ordered a hot honey rose tea. We both loved our drinks! I also ordered a Nutella cronut, which was warm and freshly made. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. We were also able to get street parking. Overall, we had a great experience! Just be aware that there’s no seating inside.“

“This hidden gem is located on the Boston University campus more close to the gas station, a Target and a new restaurant called Ziggy’s. They do sell boba but I want to take a moment to show appreciation to their macarons. My personal favorite is the fruity cereal. As you can see, look how pretty it looks and taking a bite it is sweet, satisfying and it just makes you happy. I know for me it made me happy. I believe they do buy it from a third party but it is delicious and worth it. If you look at my first picture they do display their pricing and to be upfront it does show “Buy 5 and get one free” however they do not ring it up like that and ring it up as you bought a total of six macarons. So for me, I could argue if I wanted to but I learned for myself that I’m willing to pay all six and the rest of their flavors (vanilla, birthday cake (both a pink & blue)) are tasty and satisfying. I have tried the dark chocolate macaron and it was okay. If you are one of those people that enjoys dark chocolate but want a subtle sweetness then that one is for you. I have tried their Italian soda (the lemon one to be exact) and it was delicious as well. If you want a “healthy option” they do offer Italian soda and their flavors. On the last picture you can see their drinks, pricing and boba options. My daughter and I enjoy this boba shop and it is welcoming and warm atmosphere. I just wished this establishment was more closer to home but I’m willing to travel.“

“Ten One Tea House on Newbury Street in Boston is one of the most popular tea spots in the Back Bay area, and after visiting, it’s easy to understand why.

We tried the Peach Lemon Oolong, and it was incredibly refreshing. The drink had a great balance of fruity peach flavor and light oolong tea notes, making it perfect for a warm day while walking around Newbury Street.

The shop was completely packed with people waiting for drinks, which shows how popular this place is. Even with the line, the drink was definitely worth the wait.

“I enjoy boba quite a bit so when my friends said we should check out Gong Cha I was excited. There are so many great tea base choices and the additions and toppings are also vast in variety. Fast service and you can order ahead online or at their kiosk or at the counter. Made fresh to order too. Quite authentic and I hope they continue to spread across North America. “The teas are so clean tasting, you can tell it’s the real deal from the first sip. The multi floral honey tea, passion fruit green tea, and pineapple green tea were all so delicious. I could drink them all day!“

“I got the passion fruit orange oolong tea with boba. I love oolong tea so I've been searching out boba tea shops that have fruit flavored oolong specifically. It's less than you think. This tea was pretty good! It's not as good as my favorite place (chicha) but it's $2 cheaper for a bigger cup. I think the biggest thing that I love about chicha is the tea flavor is so heavy, maybe because they are fresh brewing every cup. You can really really taste the tea. At this Teazzi it's good but the tea flavor was not as strong. And it's just like most boba shops where it is pre-brewed in giant containers. It was a good amount of sweetness though and the passion fruit flavor was good although it wasn't fresh passion fruit or puree that I could tell.

The bobas were actually delicious, they were really sweet and generally cooked well. However every 10th or 20th one was really hard. I might be in the minority but I like it, it's like extra extra extra extra al dente. But I could see the average person not enjoying that. So they're boba stock is not super consistent.

All in all though it is one of the better ones I've had.“

“The best poke bowl in Massachusetts. You can add pineapple without paying extra for it. One additional avocado is 1.50; they serve you well and they do not rip you off like in Boston. You pay the same price you would pay in Boston for a better quality bowl here.“

“The savior for people who are tired of carbonated drinks in the United States is located in Chinatown, but the store staff are all Westerners. The first time I drank a hand-cranked drink, I ordered it from the ordering machine. It was quite grand and you can also adjust the sweetness of the ice cubes. However, the price of the hand-cranked drink here is really just for an occasional drink. This cup is 50 in Taiwan and 210 in the United States🫣.“

“Northshore Mall has some new respect from me!

I was shopping at Northshore Mall, as I was in the area and feeling a little parched, I found this gem of a store! I’m a little familiar with Boba but the two workers on site were very quick to help me and very hospitable and finding me something great to try. I had to get their names and write a review because I believe this is one of my new go-to stores in the area and I would highly recommend it after the great costumer service showed. “As someone who has searched for the best boba in Harvard Square since 2017, I am telling you this is the best spot. It's the classic standby. It's been here for years and it will continue to last, no matter how many other bubble tea shops open (and inevitably close) in the rest of the square. It's consistent, it's very decent boba and tea, it has a nice big menu and great weekday specials, and it's pretty fast.

Ten One is expensive, overcrowded, and inconsistent quality-wise, with a limited menu and slow service; the only thing it has better than Kung Fu is their branding. Tiger Sugar is terrible; the last time I got milk foam there, I could literally see it curdling in my tea.“

“Dado is the best kept secret in Cambridge. A beautiful café that feels so peaceful, considered and thoughtful in its every detail—the perfect place to sit with a friend, or take some time to just be alone and read a book. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). The food is really tasty (I could never go past their egg-salad sandwich; my partner loves the bibimbap wrap), and Dado, of course, has an amazing selection of teas. More than just feeding the body, all the meals felt like they were nourishing the soul. Just good honest cooking—maybe the rarest of things today. “Finally, got to try This place. They had soft Opening which was not to best. The ordering process was pretty smooth . The wait was not to long. We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“

“Hi buddies! Back with another review.

I went with my wife and kids, as per usual. They have many, many selections for flavors and toppings. We ordered a medium Thai tea with brown sugar pearls and a grape slush with cheese foam (one size only, large). The Thai tea was rich, flavorful, and the drink size was perfect. The grape slush was refreshing. My only complaint is that the Thai tea was a little too sweet. I did end up staying up the whole night, despite having this caffeinated drink at 3 PM, so be warned friends!

They also have a selection of mochi donuts which looked nice, and some corn dogs and other spicy snacks, but we did not try any.

Overall:
-Tea: good, little sweet, but still very tasty
-Ambiance: Nice atmosphere, lots of space to sit
-Service: Fast, staff is friendly
-Price: Not bad compared to other popular stores like Gong Cha! We paid around $7 per drink

“Absolutely my favorite place for sushi when adding together freshness, service, and timeliness. After moving to Massachusetts from Florida, there has barely been any place with real flavor up here. After checking the reviews I saw this place might have some potential for a good price. It’s a small restaurant with a few tables, and the perfect hominess. We wanted to go out somewhere for Valentine’s Day with our baby, not somewhere too crowded considering she’s in her chaotic phase, and we went here. We got a maki party platter for us and a chicken teriyaki for the baby. It’s an adult portion so we decided to have something for her to have lunch and dinner with the next day. The sushi came out and it was so amazing and honestly super fast too. Then came the babies plate, it comes with a miso soup so we were able to get her to try it and she loved that. Then we cut up her food into bite size pieces and as we were preparing it, even though I personally hate chicken, it was SO FLAVORFUL!! We had to keep going back to her plate for tiny bites because it was delicious, the chicken was NOT dry and it felt so clean and refreshing each bite. Then when in regard to the service, WOW the waitress was absolutely the sweetest ever, was so interactive with our baby and attentive to us. Our new regular place for sure.“
