“Very cutesy inside. They had one person at the front (seems common at boba places). I got a coconut smoothie. And a brown sugar latte boba with nondairy milk. I think it was almond (I said almond or oat whatever they have). After they did tell me they are out of coconut but they can make an avocado smoothie that tastes like vanilla and everyone should try it. So I decided for that one. It was really creamy and really nice. Good choice. I didn’t end up drinking my foam from my latte though I just took it out. Because I want sure if it was also made with almond milk like my drink or if it had dairy. But I am not sure if I was clear on no dairy in my drink. So I just took it out. But I haven’t seen much espresso latte bobas. This was really good.“

“One of my favourite spots for bubble tea in Boston. I have gone through a large portion of their offerings and almost none disappointed. My top choices are the Avocado & Mango smoothie, Camelia Milk Tea, Thai Brulee Milk Tea, Taro Paste Bobo Milk Tea, and many more. The ingredients were all fresh, and the servers are very friendly and helpful. The deco of this place follows a sense of minimalism which I appreciate. I could say more, but perhaps it's best to visit this place for yourself :)“

“The atmosphere is very playful, low lit and cozy. I could see myself coming here to work, grab a snack or hang out with friends. They have a few games like jenga and uno and a selection of food. I got 3 different types of the onigiri (Kani, Shrimp tempura, and baked salmon) and they were all fresh and delicious. I started with shrimp tempura and it was so good I went back for the other two. That alone will keep me coming back. The oreo milk was nice, but the onigiri were the stars. I would definitely recommend coming to try the food.“

“I love this place! So quiet so peaceful it's never slammed like some of the other places and I don't know why. I can't believe people are waiting in line for like 15 min at some super duper crowded places that make me feel claustrophobic. I like to get a tea here and chill on my laptop for a bit, sit by the bay window on these nice wood bar tables. It's doesn't have that super slick all white gloss modern look, it's more like old school faux brick, wood and eclectic Victorian vibe.
They have a nice selection of different teas - for example several different oolongs which I LOVE. They don't have it in milk or fruit tea form though which is a bummer.
The milk tea is great. Their boba is on the smaller, slightly more al dente side which I enjoy a lot personally. The tea was quite sweet and had good tea flavor.
Their products are so affordable - it's a breath of fresh air. It's literally 30 percent cheaper than some of the other Newbury tea shops and they honestly taste similar to me.
I'm a fan! It's tough competition - I think there are like 9 boba tea shops all up and down Newbury now but this one is a hidden treasure if you want peace and quiet.“

“This is one of my favorite spots in Boston! I’ve eaten here a thousand times and have never been disappointed. A true local and family run establishment that cares about the community and makes everyone feel welcome. They have a super cool rooftop bar too!“

“Gong Cha in Davis Square stands out in the local boba landscape for reasons beyond just the drinks. The space is notably larger and more comfortable than most bubble tea spots in the area, with plenty of seating and wifi that makes it easy to settle in for a while rather than treating it as a quick pickup counter. It has built a reputation as a genuine hang out spot in a neighborhood that welcomes that kind of place.
The drinks hold up well across the menu. The passion fruit green tea is the order most people gravitate toward and for good reason, refreshing and bright with a natural tartness that works particularly well over ice. The taro milk tea is another reliable pick, creamy and subtly sweet in the way a good taro should be, and the passionfruit yogurt slush is worth trying if you want something more textural and fruit-forward. The star boba is a fun alternative to standard pearls with a mild fruity flavor that works well in the lighter tea options, and the herbal jelly is worth specifying if you want a less sweet, more earthy addition to the cup.
The staff is consistently warm and genuinely helpful in steering you toward something you will enjoy if you are unsure where to start on the menu. The baristas take recommendations seriously rather than defaulting to generic suggestions, and that kind of engagement makes a difference at a spot you might visit regularly. The space is well kept and the overall vibe is peaceful enough for a work session or a long conversation without feeling like you are occupying a table you should give up.“
“Close to Harvard’s campus, Ten One Tea House is the best rated bubble tea place. Walk inside and order from one of two tablets. The teas are organized around what flavor profile you like most-fruit, tea, creamy, etc. The milk tea with brown sugar boba, 75% ice, and less sweet was perfect. Just make sure you stir it to mix all the flavors and sugar.“
“I got the pork bao bun and a melon cream soda. The prices were great. And the food was so good I was legitimately surprised. I don't normally leave reviews. But I had to give these guys a shout. I couldn't eaten like 12 of those things they were so good“

“I recently visited Ten One Tea House and had the opportunity to try their four new seasonal lychee drinks. Each one had its own unique flavor profile, and they were all refreshing, well-balanced, and perfect for the season.
The presentation was beautiful, especially in their new signature cups, which made the experience even more fun. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was great.
If you’re a fan of lychee or enjoy trying limited-time seasonal drinks, I highly recommend stopping by before they’re gone. Looking forward to coming back and seeing what seasonal specials they introduce next!

“Great neighborhood for some tea. The guy working was so happy to be there. You do not see that often. Greeted us right away when we walked in. Had some pretty great suggestions. He loved being there and in return, made some amazing drinks for us!“

“This place feels like home! First time I go into a restaurant in Boston and don’t get charged for using the bathroom. This gesture gave me a sense of community and care. There after I ordered a peach Boba Tea by recommendation of the owner. It was so satisfying and delicious. I will definitely go back and bring my friends and family!“

“Amazing place! As soon as you step inside, the smell of tea brewing washes over you. I can’t describe how good it smells! I ordered a brown sugar fresh milk tea and my aunt ordered a hot honey rose tea. We both loved our drinks! I also ordered a Nutella cronut, which was warm and freshly made. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. We were also able to get street parking. Overall, we had a great experience! Just be aware that there’s no seating inside.“

“This hidden gem is located on the Boston University campus more close to the gas station, a Target and a new restaurant called Ziggy’s. They do sell boba but I want to take a moment to show appreciation to their macarons. My personal favorite is the fruity cereal. As you can see, look how pretty it looks and taking a bite it is sweet, satisfying and it just makes you happy. I know for me it made me happy. I believe they do buy it from a third party but it is delicious and worth it. If you look at my first picture they do display their pricing and to be upfront it does show “Buy 5 and get one free” however they do not ring it up like that and ring it up as you bought a total of six macarons. So for me, I could argue if I wanted to but I learned for myself that I’m willing to pay all six and the rest of their flavors (vanilla, birthday cake (both a pink & blue)) are tasty and satisfying. I have tried the dark chocolate macaron and it was okay. If you are one of those people that enjoys dark chocolate but want a subtle sweetness then that one is for you. I have tried their Italian soda (the lemon one to be exact) and it was delicious as well. If you want a “healthy option” they do offer Italian soda and their flavors. On the last picture you can see their drinks, pricing and boba options. My daughter and I enjoy this boba shop and it is welcoming and warm atmosphere. I just wished this establishment was more closer to home but I’m willing to travel.“
“A great bubble tea spot in East Boston. The space is spacious, making it easy to find a seat to read a book, get some work done, or simply relax. One suggestion would be to add a few small bar-height tables along the waterfront seating area.
The oolong milk tea was excellent, and the boba was perfectly chewy and delicious. The drinks are a little pricey, but that's pretty much the norm these days.
Overall, recommend.“

“Decent boba in the area with multiple locations. Tried the brown sugar with tapioca balls and did almond milk. Pretty good. Also had the deep roasted oolong with almond milk and the honey boba. It was honestly similar to the regular boba. And they were out of the brown sugar and tapioca balls. Maybe they run out later in the day. Order on the kiosk and it wasn’t that long of a wait to get it. I personally wouldn’t stay. I’d rather get take out. It’s pretty small with limited seating.“

“Teazzi is a boba shop serving multiple types of Asian flavors, with unique toppings such as oats.
The service is fast, there isn't really much seating but there is a Beard Papa shop also sharing the space so you can pickup other desserts as well.
We tried the Honey Amber Oolong Tea. The tea was good, though the oolong didn't really have a strong oolong taste. The flavors are just as good as the other locations though.“

“I enjoy boba quite a bit so when my friends said we should check out Gong Cha I was excited. There are so many great tea base choices and the additions and toppings are also vast in variety. Fast service and you can order ahead online or at their kiosk or at the counter. Made fresh to order too. Quite authentic and I hope they continue to spread across North America. Go here if you want bubble tea.“

“With so few bubble tea hangout spots outside of Boston, Teamoji is one of the few places I genuinely recommend. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff. I was pleasantly surprised by how extensive the menu was, which made choosing a drink a challenge in the best way. The shop was clean, inviting, and featured a cute seating area that's perfect for hanging out. The drink I ordered met my expectations perfectly, with the right balance of sweetness, flavor, and texture. I'm glad I decided to give Teamoji a try, and I'll definitely be coming back. Oh...can't forget how easy finding parking was, there's plenty!!“

“The fruit tea was a lot better than expected, especially since it’s a poke shop and not exclusively boba. I got the strawberry fruit tea, mulberry, mango, and passion fruit pineapple. Unlike most boba stores in the area, all the drinks used fresh fruit and the tea flavor was not bad. This is my go to spot here. Compared to a lot of other places I’ve been (that specialized in tea and boba) this is one of the best ones in the area. I haven’t tried their milk teas yet, but I heard it was good!
When we ordered takeout, they put our drinks the fridge. The staff was super friendly ; once when I picked up my drinks the cup exploded and they remade my drink for free.
The poke bowls are also pretty good, the fish texture is fresh and not too fishy. The rice base is also cooked perfectly and seasoned, unlike the nearby poke shops. I also for a generous amount of toppings!“

“This place is amazing. The boba tea is nice and cold and is SO refreshing. They have many other things to offer too! Lots of food items were on display on the menu and they made my mouth water. The people who work there are also probably the kindest people I ever met at a business! This place is definitely a go to for every boba fan, tea fan, and just people who love amazing food. Very much recommended.“

“As someone who has searched for the best boba in Harvard Square since 2017, I am telling you this is the best spot. It's the classic standby. It's been here for years and it will continue to last, no matter how many other bubble tea shops open (and inevitably close) in the rest of the square. It's consistent, it's very decent boba and tea, it has a nice big menu and great weekday specials, and it's pretty fast.
Ten One is expensive, overcrowded, and inconsistent quality-wise, with a limited menu and slow service; the only thing it has better than Kung Fu is their branding. Tiger Sugar is terrible; the last time I got milk foam there, I could literally see it curdling in my tea.“

“Worth the Drive Every Time
Hey Tea in Allston, MA is absolute heaven. I drive all the way from the North Shore for this, and it's never a wasted trip.
Their mango drinks with sago and the grapefruit are top of the world—seriously, some of the best I've ever had. They do everything so well. I also love watching everyone's order come up and seeing the tea being made right through the glass. It's mesmerizing and just adds to the whole experience.“

“Genuinely don’t understand why this place is empty save for my family when we come in - The waiters are attentive, and the food and milk tea are both spectacular. They offer a lot more options than most sushi restaurants as well! Seems like a really lovely family business and I would definitely recommend.“

“Finally, got to try This place. They had soft Opening which was not to best. The ordering process was pretty smooth . The wait was not to long. We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“

“Banh Mi Huong Que is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant located at 696 Washington Street in Boston. Their main specialty is bánh mì, though they also serve pho and other traditional dishes. I ordered the chicken bánh mì, and it was excellent, the bread was perfectly crispy, and the chicken and vegetables were flavorful. It reminded me of the bánh mì I used to eat in Hanoi. The service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it !!!“

“Dado is the best kept secret in Cambridge. A beautiful café that feels so peaceful, considered and thoughtful in its every detail—the perfect place to sit with a friend, or take some time to just be alone and read a book. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). The food is really tasty (I could never go past their egg-salad sandwich; my partner loves the bibimbap wrap), and Dado, of course, has an amazing selection of teas. More than just feeding the body, all the meals felt like they were nourishing the soul. Just good honest cooking—maybe the rarest of things today. We’re about to leave Harvard this semester, and one of the great things we’ll miss is Dado.“

“M&J Teriyaki is a cute restaurant which I highly recommend if you’re in the area! They offer both dine-in and takeout and have, frankly a very nice atmosphere.
