“First time guest. Had the most charming stay at Race Brook Lodge. I arrived in the evening and followed a path down to where I was staying: a sweet, charming, rustic cottage room. The bed was enormous and inviting, there was a nook off of the room with an additional sleeper. No tv, just the sounds of the evening outside. It was a little chilly and they had heaters ready for use. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep.

In the morning, I followed another path to the dining area where I was greeted by the staff, who were super-friendly and warm. Overnight guests were greeted by the staff like they were family (they seemed to be regular guests) and the breakfast was delicious. I took a quick dip in the pool and used the sauna, then went for a hike. It was the perfect getaway from my stress. Would come back here again 100%.“

“Simply incredible. The rustic interior, combined with the exceptional service, tasty cocktails, and divine meals made for a lovely late-summer dinner in the Berkshires. I would especially recommend the coconut cake. It was the best I’ve ever had. We even received a quick history lesson on the property’s grist mill roots from the owner. “Food was amazing. A little chaotic in there in terms of the amount of people and trying to figure out where to put dishes and get things when it’s crowded but I do appreciate the model of not tipping and paying staff a livable wage.“

“I had put on a Premiere at The colonial theater where I had lots of guest from all over coming to visit and wanted a venue close by to host an after party and right across the street is Industry Kitchen & Bar . The Event would be wrapping up around 9pm and I knew this might be late knowing that Industry typically didn’t have their kitchen open that late but after reaching out They were more than happy to accommodate myself and the 30+ guest. Food was amazing, drinks were amazing, and it made for a great end to an already amazing event. Big shout out to their server Gabby who held it down phenomenally for myself and guest. Hope to be able to do this again with Industry Kitchen & Bar in the future thank you so much!“

“This place was amazing!! It was "date night". We were both very satisfied with the place, our food and our interactions with employees. We started with the fried potato pancakes, Delicious!! He had the chicken and waffles and I had the Cali BLT w/ onion rings. The portions are great and the prices are right!! I definitely recommend checking them out.“

“On our way home from drone daughter off at camp we stopped in. I got the brisket and rib combo. My wife got the burger. We got a pretzel and Mediterranean snack. It was all delicious. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I will go again.“

“My son and daughter in law got married n June is 2025. Everything was absolutely fabulous! If you’re looking for a farm setting for your wedding I highly recommend Gedney Farm! The restaurant is also amazing. Great atmosphere and delicious food!“

“Great accommodations, comfortable and well located in the hamlet of Hillsdale. I would definitely stay there again. There were some stairs to our rooms though, so that might be a little tough if you have mobility problems, though they also seemed to have nice ground level cabins.“

“Although we were from out of town visiting friends from Sheffield, we got the strong feeling that this is the sort of place where everybody knows your name. Very friendly and attentive service, good food at affordable prices. The prime rib was top notch.“

“They somehow managed to combine the friendliness of a local pub with the food of a fine restaurant. Highly recommend this gem. Havent tried the pizza place nectdoor but the wood fired oven makes pizza that looks delicious. I am a beer drinker but the cocktails look great! No, its not cheap but qhat is these days?“

“Gorgeous ambiance. Warmly-lit, moody, wood paneled farm to table restaurant. Food is generally good - there are some stand outs, such as the cornbread, while other items are just okay (we found the burger and salmon underwhelming). We came peak season and the restaurant was clearly overwhelmed. Service was slow and the bar was backed up - we didn't receive our drinks until after our appetizers. However I'd still recommend this spot for the atmosphere and a decent meal.“
