We ordered a large takeout order via their website. A few minutes later we got a call from one of their staff, confirming whether we were fine with the vegetable pad thai having egg in it (vegan vs vegetarian).

It was an incredibly kind gesture, that I've almost never had happen, especially from an online order.

The food itself was quite good, and very reasonably priced. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants of all types, and this one nailed the complex flavors perfectly. I was especially fond of the scallion pancakes, and the Tom Khar soup.

This was a really great dining experience, from all aspects. I have not eaten here in person, but if they treat their sit-down guests half as good as we were treated with a remote order, it will be a special experience indeed.“

“Cute lil restaurant, from the other reviews I went in before 5 and the place was full by the time I left. Food was alright, I had the pad thai that had no peanuts?! The fried onion substitute gave it an after taste, also, they should consider giving the lime wedge on the side like other spots as it was a lil too citrusy for me. I was happy to see the spring rolls being offered at a reasonable price, then realized why as soon as they brought to the table.. they were barely filled! Service was great tho, kind and attentive staff.“

“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back“

The staff are constantly checking in on you and making sure your water is always topped off. The decor is stunning—modern, sleek, with gold accents that give it a touch of luxury. Even the bathroom is pristine, with fancy toilets, automated trash cans, soap dispensers, and even high-end toilet paper—it’s clear they pay attention to every detail! The food was amazing. We tried the hot stone wagyu dish, the Khao Soi, the tiger shrimp pad thai, and the ribeye in curry. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The only slight drawback was the timing, as three dishes came out together and the last arrived about 10 minutes later, but the quality more than made up for it. The cocktails were a highlight—creative, strong, and perfectly crafted. The vibe in the restaurant is fantastic, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend checking Thaiger Den out—you won’t be disappointed!“

However, I went to dine-in, with a friend and when I did not tip, the server demanded I do so. This was an autonomous customer experience where no one took our order we had to order on our iPhone and then all they did was bring the food.

“I would recommend it because the food is good but when I ordered they said a half hour I had to sit outside and wait though. when I got there I had to wait outside almost a half hour because they only let one person in the building at a time. “This review is long overdue, but this is a great Thai small business to support. The place is cozy [with seasonal outdoor seating] and the staff is always warm. The Drunken noodles are my go-to and it is a generous portion of noodles AND protein...for the most part. I strongly discourage paying extra for extra protein as I paid $3 for EXTRA protein and received 3 small shrimp. This seems to be a trend as I have ordered DN at two other places and the extra fee was not reflected in the portion delivered. But Mae does deliver consistently outside of this.“

“I have been a Freshman on the campus of Boston University for only a few weeks. I did not find myself homesick in the slightest and found myself rather content with the food at nearby dining halls. Eating here in this cozy space with such a friendly waitress is such a contrast to packed, noisy dining halls with somewhat, periodically nasty food staffs (at least towards the later hours of the day), and it cured my homesickness I didn't know I had. I highly recommend this restaurant to other undergraduate students like me in need of a nice meal in a comfy space.“

The cashier recommended the Chicken noodles soup at the shop and especially mentioned that the lychee drink was really well-made — and it truly tasted amazing.
