“The barbecue is very good. We had the brisket, which was fork tender, and the ribs. which were also tasty. We also enjoyed the collard greens, potato salad, mac & cheese and purple Cole slaw. The combo platters also came with the softest, sweetest bread. It was all delicious. The staff was great and very accommodating. We arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed (Summer hours had not yet been updated on Yelp) but the hostess seated us and took our order right away. The restaurant is part of PKLBoston. The space is enormous with five reserved pickle ball courts, areas to play corn hole and shuffleboard as well as two separate bar areas. The place is big enough to have several areas for private functions. Just be mindful of where you park. We unwittingly parked on a "Private Way" and our car was towed.“

“Good and service were very good. My only issue is that the restaurant was not able to accept / apply my OpenTable rewards certificate. They said that they have had this problem in the past. I feel that if they are on the OpenTable platform, they should figure out the issue which prevents them from utilizing the rewards certificates.“

“I walk by this place every day and wonder why no one is in here, I assumed it was bad. We finally stopped by to try it and all I can say is I don't understand why it’s not packed like every other place on W Broadway. The food was so good and what made the experince incredible was the warmth and hospitality from who I can only assume was the owner. She was great, and it felt like I was a friend having a meal at her home. Great wine recommendations and helpful tips on food. We will definitely be coming back!“
