“Of all the businesses in the Northampton area, I think Pie Bar is my #1 favorite. Everything is perfect: the savory and sweet offerings, the full espresso menu, the indoor and outdoor ambiance, the kindness of the employees, the proximity to the beloved bike path. Pie Bar is the place that makes me feel luckiest to live here, and I hope it stays forever.
Also, the ham and cheese rolls are genius.“

“We're from Wisconsin and had breakfast March 31 in your restaurant. I wish I could remember our waitress' name, but she was delightful. I had the (canned)corned beef hash omelet and loved it. I've never seen an omelet shaped the way you serve it, but again it was terrific on looks alone! You folks do a marvelous job.“

“Woodstar has long been one of my absolute staples for a great drink and sandwich. The Berkshire is by far my favorite sandwich with it's baked daily bread, pesto, and turkey. The Honey Lemon Ginger tea (hot or iced) is also my absolute favorite drink. Paired with a delicious coffee, perfection! Been coming here for years and the quality and consistency is top notch!“

“I had breakfast there with a friend and then purchased some of Shannon's scones to bring to a brunch. Everyone was raving about their deliciousness and moistness! They all asked where I got them so I hope they find their way to your cafe and experience it in person-and also buy some scones and pastries to take home to share. “Love this place! The food brings me back to my childhood in PR, and the staff's warm and courteous service is very welcoming. They offer a great variety on items I'm interested in such as gifts with inspiring messages, modest clothing for women and men, and accessories that fit my style. Their caramel iced coffees are delicious! Great environment to wind down during lunch break...overall a place I would recommend to friends and family.“

“If you’re anywhere in the area, this little unassuming cafe is an absolute must.To start, Laura—who it seems typically opens in the morning—had my order memorized like I was a years-long regular after just a single visit. I waltzed in just after opening (7:05), hoping not to be “that guy” that walks in super early while she’s trying to do her side work. She assured me that all was good, and that I was more than welcome. She virtually started making my breakfast before I even ordered. Wow.Next, the food. The FOOD. The COFFEE. Some of the best savory all-American comfort breakfast food I’ve had, genuinely. I’m a coffee snob, and I like mine on the sweeter side. They nail it with their caramel lattes (at least Laura does).The atmosphere is a very warm-toned rustic feel, so it almost comes off as if you’re sitting in someone’s living room. At the center of the room is a few sofas and a table, to boot.Again, if you’re anywhere near VS&C, pop on in. You won’t regret it.“
“The money was worth it since we got so much from our visit. Next time I may check out the two art museums as well. Parking was close and free, which was a nice bonus. Since Main Street isn't far, there are plenty of restaurants nearby but nothing to eat inside the museums“

“This quaint Café is located right at Marcotte Ford, 1025 Main Street in Holyoke, MA. You can have Breakfast or Lunch. We enjoyed the Model A Basic Bkfst...so delicious?Cooked to perfection. “Eat is easily my favorite restaurant to dine! If you’re looking for great quality food at a reasonable price with a plethora of daily specials to keep it fun, this is definitely your place to go! Whenever I have the chance to have lunch with someone new, it is my go-to place. The menu is super inclusive whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or an omnivore. 10/10 EVERY TIME. I appreciate their professionalism and thoughtfulness, as well!“

“The GF waffles were out of this world... soft and fluffy. I'm very sensitive to gluten cross- contamination, and it was reassuring to me that the staff person was knowledgeable and asked me if I had a gluten allergy and needed separate preparation for my order. They also are taking COVID precautions seriously. They are requiring proof of vaccination in order to dine in (this is clearly posted inside and outside of restaurant), and while at my table I overheard a staff person asking an unmasked person to put on a mask. Could not have had a more enjoyable experience... sad I don't live in the area!“
“They have so much quality food. They pre-made sandwiches, they have grinders, macaroni and cheese, pizza, quesadillas, a cafe. They have soup and a salad bar, they have lovely desserts, too. This is my favorite place to use my dining dollars and it is open late. It's fairly quiet at night and is good for studying. If you live near there they have Grab n Go in the morning, too.“
“I was having a somewhat mediocre experience at the UMass Campus Rec until a strapping young employee named Justin swiped my ucard in order for me to return my rental lock, and told me "Have a nice day" with a smile. His handsome face and perfectly quaffed hair made my day! Five stars for UMass Campus Rec, SIX stars for Justin the employee!“

“Stumbled upon this place while traveling for work. A small, old school homestyle cafe with friendly staff, and typical greasy spoon menu. **Cash only, but I believe they had an ATM inside if needed. Believe my meal was $10, can’t get much for less than that nowadays.“

“I've traveled the World and lived in a bunch of places, and nothing compares to Tailgate. I hate to say it, but it's so true, and it keeps me coming back even though I haven't lived in SH for a decade.
The ambiance of the place is phenomenal. It's so adorable and warming, like your visiting your favorite family member. Handwritten menus and knick knacks scattered throughout the place to make you feel at home.
The food is magnificent. I almost always get The Lumberjack on wheat wrap, and ALWAYS get the pickle 🥒. Do yourself a favor and get a side of pasta salad, and then pick up some delicious chips as you slide down towards the register.
I'm 2 hours away as I write this, and I'm now changing my weekend plans..“
