Eclectic decor of retro beer, sports and movie memorabilia. Easy, friendly service and reasonable prices. Loud at times, so if you're seeking an intimate, quiet place for dinner, maybe not the best for that.

Reservations are recommended and the place was full within the first hour of operation. It can be a little noisy, but that's to be expected for an restaurant that is as popular as Romaine's. “Always fantastic food in very special old New England building with wonderful interior, lighting and terrace. If you’re looking for a special setting for a special meal this is unbeatable in the area.

My recommendation is to do a wine tasting before 5.30pm when that closes, to decide your favorite wine, then go to dinner and order a bottle.“

“We stopped at Stevie's on the way to the American Heritage Museum - just looking for a bite before we went in and honestly couldn't have been happier. The cafe itself is in a commercial complex, but there's dedicated parking and loads of seating inside, mostly tables and chairs, some sofas.

The menu is unfussy, food is all hand made to order from scratch with no additives, and great quality. We had chicken quesedillas and macaroni cheese - the chicken was fresh and the veg was tasty and it came with a pot of salsa which was delicious. The macaroni was in a nice creamy sauce which was just perfect for the kids.

The place has a warm community feel, even though it's in a pretty neutral building. Stevie was welcoming and kind, the kids thought he was great fun and there are signs on the walls showing the business' involvement in tackling food poverty in the local area.

“With so many restaurant choices in Framingham, Buckley is a great choice! They poured a solid cocktail. The little details were spot on. For example, the fries came out hot and crispy with the correct amount of salt and a dash of parsley set them apart. The portion sizes were generous and the price points demonstrated good value. The most enjoyable aspect was the outdoor dining area surrounded by small trees and the nearby street was quiet enough to hold a quiet conversation. A nice touch was that nearby residents brought their dogs which was an enjoyable sight. Buckley will be my go to restaurant going forward. Thank you.“

“Went to Burtons Bar & Grill in Framingham for dinner tonight. It was our first time there and we were not disappointed!! Our waiter, Gustavo, was excellent and very knowledgeable about celiac. I felt 100% safe. I ordered the Orchard Sangria which was like fall in a cup!! We split the Point Judith Calamari which we both enjoyed (even my non-celiac husband said he couldn’t tell it was GF). For my meal I got the Mediterranean Chicken Risotto. It was DELICIOUS! One of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time! We will definitely be back, even though it’s a 40+ minute ride, it’s worth it!“

“I work construction right down the street and around the corner and needed a quick eat to bite. I saw this place on maps and went to check it out. There was no one inside but the two ladies working in the kitchen behind the counter. One of them asked me what can she get for me and made me an egg sandwich right there. Great service, great food, I highly recommend.“

The environment is homey and modern loved the decor and so many fresh yummy pastries that I wanted to try but will try next time. “We go to the superette probably 3 times a week, whether to get a sandwich from the deli (yum!) or to supplement groceries for a planned meal. The produce is great. We've bought fish and burgers from the counter. Loved the macaroni salad!! Such a wonderful option for Holliston residents. Oh--and employees are all super friendly and helpful, too.“

If you want better food, go to Oscar’s. But if you want somewhere you can enjoy a beer outside while your kids play games (corn hole, ping pong, shuffle board) with decent vegetarian options, then you’ve come to the right place.“

“Central Public House is a fantastic eating spot. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is very attentive and the building itself is gorgeous.I've been to the restaurant a few times and some of the food I've ordered was the Spicy Caesar Salad, the hummus, the spinach and artichoke dip and the creme brulee. All of the meals were not only delicious but it's clear that CPH uses fresh ingredients. I typically order salads at restaurants and you usually expect a few damper pieces of lettuce, but the Caesar is always fresh and crunchy, the dressing well distributed, a perfect amount of parmesan and fun spicy kick to make the dish unique. Definitely my go to meal!The apps are also fantastic. The pita bread is great for dipping and has a wonderful texture. They also go great with both the hummus and artichoke dips. Both these dips are well seasoned, have a great consistency and honestly their hummus is some of the best I've ever had.Lastly the creme brulee is always lovely, great consistency and the burnt sugar on the top is always such a fun treat!Regarding drinks, CPH has a great selection of alcohol. The cans of ciders and beers they have stocked are from a great selection of local breweries, Jacks Abby, Downeast and Night Shift to name a few. And then there's the mixed drinks! They have a fun selection of cocktails. I absolutely love the brown sugar old fashioned. It's definitely one of my favorites.The staff is also phenomenal. All of their waiters and waitresses are attentive and always have a kind attitude. They're great about checking in when you need things.The kitchen crew is very talented and always keeping up the quality of their dishes while still getting food out at a fast pace. They really nail down the recipes even while changing out the menu every few weeks. It creates a fun enviornment for patrons because there's always something new and fun to try, but still always made with the same phenomenal quality.It's also nice to see how active the manager is on site. He's always running food to tables, checking in with guests and even running take out orders. It really speaks to the quality of the staff running the building.And speaking of the building, it's beautifully designed and well constructed! The bar is absolutely gorgeous and the seating is very comfortable. Eating next to the large windows brings in a lot of natural light which adds a nice aesthetic to your dining experience. The kitchen even has a window you can watch through to see the kitchen staff hard at work as they make your food.I would highly recommend Central Public House, between the fantastic food, amazing staff and just an absolutely fun atmosphere. You won't regret spending an evening here.“

“Went to experience their Oktoberfest menu. The food was delicious. It is hard to find German dishes in Massachusetts, so I was especially excited and we ordered a lot of dishes. My favorites are the wurst, the beef stroganoff, tand the saurbraten. I would suggest that if you get the applesauce meatloaf, that you ask for the applesauce on the side instead of on top. It was a tad too much applesauce for me. I went a second time to get dessert. They had a "dessert tray" where they brought out covered dessert selection, which was very cool. The black forest cake was very good. Unfortunately, they only have these items during their oktoberfest (late September to October 31). But I suggest marking your calendar for next year if you missed it!“

My sister ordered the same as last time and I ordered a slightly dirty Tito’s martini with a special request for bleu cheese stuffed olives. They were perfection! “We have been wanting to try this place for a couple of years. Arrived about 11:30 am. and were seated immediately. My husband ordered their fried chicken sandwich with French Fries and I ordered their Veggie omelet w/o onions, multigrain toast, and home fries. Everything was delicious. Fries were different: thin and great. We would order noth dishes again but want to try others on next visit. The outside gazebo looks very inviting“
