“I make a point to visit Harry’s every time I’m in town doing business with Julio’s Liquors. I usually stop in a few times during each trip. This place is truly a New England treasure.

The food is homemade, fresh, and consistently delicious. My usual order is a lobster roll—sometimes hot, sometimes cold—always starting with the chowder of the day.

This visit, however, I decided to step away from the meal I’d been planning for weeks and take a suggestion from Lisa by trying the Restaurant Week menu: crab and lobster chowder, lobster pie, and a slice of fruit of the forest pie (strawberry rhubarb).

What a delight. It was worth breaking my routine. I honestly don’t know anywhere else you can get that much lobster for the price they charge.

If you want better food, go to Oscar’s. “Upon walking in the waitress/hostess was turning on the tv. No acknowledgement, I asked can we sit anywhere. She seemed shy, thus not very personable. Our drinks were lukewarm warm (had to ask for ice for $5.00 each drinks). The saving grace is the the food is seasoned great, the atmosphere wasn’t bad, but the tv is definitely too loud for couples or families to have conversation/ listen to the waitress who speaks low as is.“

The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is very attentive and the building itself is gorgeous.I've been to the restaurant a few times and some of the food I've ordered was the Spicy Caesar Salad, the hummus, the spinach and artichoke dip and the creme brulee. All of the meals were not only delicious but it's clear that CPH uses fresh ingredients. I typically order salads at restaurants and you usually expect a few damper pieces of lettuce, but the Caesar is always fresh and crunchy, the dressing well distributed, a perfect amount of parmesan and fun spicy kick to make the dish unique. Definitely my go to meal!The apps are also fantastic. The pita bread is great for dipping and has a wonderful texture. They also go great with both the hummus and artichoke dips. Both these dips are well seasoned, have a great consistency and honestly their hummus is some of the best I've ever had.Lastly the creme brulee is always lovely, great consistency and the burnt sugar on the top is always such a fun treat!Regarding drinks, CPH has a great selection of alcohol. The cans of ciders and beers they have stocked are from a great selection of local breweries, Jacks Abby, Downeast and Night Shift to name a few. And then there's the mixed drinks! They have a fun selection of cocktails. I absolutely love the brown sugar old fashioned. It's definitely one of my favorites.The staff is also phenomenal. All of their waiters and waitresses are attentive and always have a kind attitude. They're great about checking in when you need things.The kitchen crew is very talented and always keeping up the quality of their dishes while still getting food out at a fast pace. They really nail down the recipes even while changing out the menu every few weeks. It creates a fun enviornment for patrons because there's always something new and fun to try, but still always made with the same phenomenal quality.It's also nice to see how active the manager is on site. He's always running food to tables, checking in with guests and even running take out orders. It really speaks to the quality of the staff running the building.And speaking of the building, it's beautifully designed and well constructed! The bar is absolutely gorgeous and the seating is very comfortable. Eating next to the large windows brings in a lot of natural light which adds a nice aesthetic to your dining experience. But for anyone unfamiliar, think of it as a Chili’s with a bit more dining space beyond the bar or an Outback without the grilled steaks.

I was curious about what sets 99 apart from similar chains like Applebee’s, and the answer I got was simple: “They think they’re better and charge more.” While neither is glaringly obvious, the menu does offer a few standout dishes, like the Shepherd’s Pie - a refreshing option compared to the usual burgers and fried food lineup.

My sister ordered the same as last time and I ordered a slightly dirty Tito’s martini with a special request for bleu cheese stuffed olives. They were perfection!
