“Dined here last evening. Wow! From the moment you walk in you feel the warmth of the atmosphere in this beautiful restaurant. Subtle music, warm welcome and lovely decor. The staff is helpful and friendly. The presentation on the dishes is beautiful. I hope that more people discover this gem in Northborough. As a business professional, this would be my go-to place to bring clients and business associates. The owners are hands on and it shows.“

“Absolutely the best N. Y. Sirloin I have ever tasted. It was thick, tender and favorable, served with a chicken-of-the-woods reduction that was perfectly paired with the steak. Reservations are recommended and the place was full within the first hour of operation. It can be a little noisy, but that's to be expected for an restaurant that is as popular as Romaine's. “We brought three generations to Special Teas to fulfill my mother’s wish to have tea with her daughters and granddaughter. It was a lovely way to spend a fall afternoon. The service was fantastic and staff were very attentive. The variety in teas allowed everyone in our group the opportunity to experience unique tea flavors. The food and desserts were phenomenally delicious and traditional and paired well with the tea fare. Thank you for giving us a wonderful afternoon and a memory that will last a lifetime.“

“It's the perfect setting for a night out with someone special, a friend or otherwise. We sat outside, had a beautiful view of the mountains, seating was quaint, and they had some soft music playing in the background. The food was not every-day fare, it was creative, delicious and perfect. I recommend the striped bass with sweet potato puree, and a sauce made from a plum wine. I paired with the strawberry rubarb wine..... every sip and every bite was perfect!“

“Had an amazing dinner there recently. Went on a weeknight and seated right away. Our server (forgive me if not correct) I believe was Stephanie. Very knowledgeable, kind, attentive. Knew every detail about the menu. Drinks and appetizers came quickly. Had chowder, which was excellent as well as a caprese. Also excellent. 4 dinners came out and every single one was a perfect size, cooked great and tasted delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough“

Appointment and I didn't have a breakfast, so I happen to spot this right around the corner, and I have to say, I've had the best onion, bagel sausage, egg and cheese, sandwich that I've had. “The best breakfast & food service in town, and possibly anywhere around by a long shot. They truly go above and beyond to make everyone’s experience exceptional.

I’ve driven cross country 9 times and have eaten at countless breakfast spots locally and all over the country, and this is still my favorite place anywhere. I honestly feel so lucky that a place this good is right here in my own town.

The food is consistently incredible, the portions are generous, everything is fresh and cooked exactly how it should be, and there’s clearly a lot of care that goes into what they serve. Their sauces are absolutely to die for, you will want to put them on everything.

The service is what really sets them apart. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of, and that kind of genuine effort is getting harder and harder to find.

I’ve tried a LOT of breakfast places over the years, including some that are highly recommended and well-known, and I still find myself comparing them to this place. Somehow, this little local spot continues to win.

If you’re anywhere nearby, go here. If you live in town and haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.

This isn’t one of those reviews where I’m trying to convince myself that a place is great because it’s local. I’ve had the opportunity to eat all over the country, and this is genuinely my favorite.
