“We stopped at Rail Trail Ale House for lunch on a beautiful fall Saturday and had a great time. We shared the giant pretzel, then split the pastrami sandwich, and both were excellent. I had the Queen Bee and my husband had the Shipyard Oktoberfest, both perfect for the day.

What made the visit was the people. The owner stopped by to chat and couldn't have been lovelier, and the staff was fantastic from start to finish. A rep from Counterweight Brewing was there giving out samples of their German-style beer, which was wonderful, a fun surprise.

The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, the kind of spot where you want to linger. It's right down the road from Congamond Lake, so it's easy to make a whole afternoon of it. We'll definitely be back!“

“Good! Sliders were cooked perfectly and bigger than we were expecting. A pleasant surprise. Kids Mac and cheese is HUGE, and it's actually real cheese sauce, not Kraft. The Jimmy Buffett playlist is very Southwick though we wouldn't have minded listening to something else. Overall very good experience.“

“Since I was a Junior in high school, it's been the best grinder around. I moved out of the area but it's always worth the trip. A ton of meat. Always fresh shredded lettuce. Still the best.“

“Our second time trying Verona and both times we were very happy with our food. Our first visit we got pizza to go and it was the best margarita pizza we’ve ever had. Tonight we dined in and had the most amazing meals. They were super busy today and were out of some items so we had to change our order but I am so glad we did. The penne ala vodka was the best I’ve ever had and my husband loved the lasagna. The server, Harmony, was so kind and attentive. Portion sizes were very generous and now I have lunch for tomorrow as well. We will definitely be back!“

Homemade meatballs and quality pepperoni. They had homemade Tiramisu and Cheesecake that was out of this world! Put this place on your map!“

“On Saturday, August 16, 2025, my husband and I had the pleasure of eating a late lunch/early dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The service was pleasant and prompt, the decor was beautiful, and the food was delicious! Before our entrees, we split the potato skins appetizer. I really liked the crispy skin. (I don't usually eat all of the skin of potato skins, preferring the filling instead, but I ate all of mine from Zanto's!) The Shrimp Scampi Provençal was one of the best versions of shrimp scampi that I've ever had. My husband raved about his dish of Scallops Massimo. I don't know if we'll ever be in that area of CT again, but if we are, we'll go out of our way to eat at Zanto's. 5/5“

“We had the BEST day date at Bright Ideas Brewery with Chappy’s Mobile Culinary Experience! 🍻❤️ The brewery is super comfortable, the beer was delicious and the service was awesome. A ton of seating. Jim took our order, answered all of our questions, and you can tell how much love and passion he has for delicious food. We ordered the blackened chicken salad and the jalapeño pineapple pepperoni pizza, then sat outside in the beautiful sunshine while Jim hand-delivered our lunch! He thought of everything — sauces, sides, napkins, silverware… every little detail! And the food was incredible. You could genuinely taste the difference in the freshness of the ingredients. The peppers and pineapple were so fresh, the dough was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. The vegetables and lettuce in my salad were exceptionally fresh — and I am a lettuce snob! 😂 10/10. Jim and Sarah, you two are amazing! We loved everything and will absolutely be back. “I've ordered from Gigi's Pizza quite a few times, and it's easily one of my favorite pizza spots in Westfield. The pizza is always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The sauce has a rich, homemade taste with just the right amount of seasoning, the cheese is perfectly melted and has that great stretchy, cheesy bite, and the crust is crispy on the outside while staying soft and chewy inside. Everything just comes together so well that it's hard to stop at one slice. The staff is always friendly, and the whole place has a welcoming feel. If you're looking for really good pizza, I definitely recommend giving Gigi's a try!“

“Drove 3 hours to play here because it was on a list of courses that cross state borders, but unfortunately this course had no signage or any information showing the border between CT and MA. The staff was real friendly and the clubhouse was clean. The course was in good shape despite a few traps with hard packed sand. The greens were fast with challenging pin locations. The fairways were in good condition and the rough was just thick enough to be challenging but not impossible to advance the ball. I would highly recommend playing this course.“

“Hit this lil shop up while doing some laundry at the nearby Laundromat.
Food came out fast and hot.
I got crispy chicken wrap and it was spot on. I like the crispy fries they have.

Just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings it’s not overwhelming on any one ingredient. My server was Joshua and I wasn't able to get the small salad that I originally wanted, but when I decided to get a slice of pepperoni pizza, he threw in an extra slice because he could not grant me my original order. The part I liked wasn't about the extra slice I got to eat, but the fact he even thought about how I might feel. “I get various items there very often. My 12 year old daughter loves their medium cheese pizzas. She likes the regular cheese one and the 6 cheese Wisconsin one. She also loves the bread knots and bread bites.I order our food on line and when finishing ordering it I go pick it up. It is finished by the time arrived. Walk in, get it and go home. I get home and the food is still hot!The employees I deal with are friendly, polite and are courteous.“
