On a very very cold night, formally-dressed grouos mixed with pajama-clad hotel guests, Each enjoyed a good selection of food and drinks- from kids cheese toasties to braised ribs with parsnip purée, roast carrots , arctic char, and grilled salmon with succotash- and no one seemed out of place. we miss the fish and chips, but we're consoled by the new and seasonal cocktails, and mesmerized by the bartenders who are beyond compare.“

“My wife and I live close by and really love this place. Great food (including delicious daily specials), a very nice rotating selection of draft beers, and reasonably priced mocktails. The kitchen closes late, which is also a big plus. What we most love, however, is the atmosphere. The staff has always been very welcoming and nice to us. In fact, we had to evacuate our building quite late after a fire broke out a few weeks ago and they kindly offered to shelter us until we found somewhere to spend the night. No wonder why we keep coming back :)“

We also met some amazing people who we invited to sit with us because the place was a 100% full. They happen to be from Australia, even though the guy was originally from Boston. We had an amazing dinner and appetizers on the first night there. And then the next day we came back for lunch and had an amazing bartender named Ro. “Looking for dinner options along Moody Street and this was an easy choice. I've been to Dallas and had a fun evening in their Deep Ellum neighborhood so why would I skip the opportunity to try it again.

Lots of options here, considering we have meat eaters, pescatarians and kosher eaters in the group tonight. We started off with a plate of their pickles and they were fabulous. With it, beers! Including a draft German beer for me and a tin of a non-alcoholic for Mrs. K.

For main, I chose the Italian sandwich and it was fabulous. Well loaded and very tasty if perhaps a little messy. But that's what napkins are for. Mrs. K. chose the grilled cheese and said it was excellent.

Great service here and we had a fabulous evening. Five stars!“

Accessible beer selection. Buffalo Wings were my ideal Wings style. Sauce carried heat but full of flavor. Breaded and it works for that sauce.

Service was incredible. Was some locals and college kids present for sure. No blink of an eye, whole place was supreme.“

Most recently, we arrived at 6:15, didn't get the menu or water for 20 minutes (there was only one other table dining). “This was a hidden gem just when and where I needed it! I was trying to find a spot for lunch in the area that had good options, and I took my chance on what became an amazing restaurant experience even though I was by myself sitting at the bar haha. Jenn and the rest of the bar staff made great recommendations, and the food here was sooo good (I ordered the buffalo shrimp and steak frites). I told Jenn that I don’t remember the last time I cleared my plate at a restaurant, and I normally wouldn’t eat that much in one sitting, it was that good. The service was great and their friendliness and conversation was even better, and I look forward to going again next time I’m in Boston! “The Rooms are clean and smell nice. We got sheets when we checked in, but no towel or even hand towels for the bathroom. If I had seen the place before, I would probably booked one night instead of two.
There is a great pizza place just down the street, Main Pizza! It has made the stay MUCH more enjoyable!“
