“First of all, I can't believe we waited so long to go back to this place, since we live less than half a mile away. This is such a unique place in Chinatown, with very creative (and well made) cocktails and a menu for just about anyone's palate. After seeing a segment on TV, I really wanted to try the burger and it might be one of the top 5 burgers I've ever had (and I have had thousands). The Bao bun is just so good, as was the sauce and the pickles. Top it off with a side of duck fat fries and you have the perfect burger. We were there on a Monday night around 6:45 and the place was packed. The bar too. No pictures but I wish I had. Will definitely be back to try more of the menus.“
“J and J is my families new spot for Asain tasty treats. Jean is a fantastic owner. She makes you feel like family from the time you enter the establishment. Sushi was fresh and delicious. They even made a special chicken tempura roll for my wife and added it to their POS ordering system for future visits. We call it the Elisabet roll named after my wife of course. My kids smashed every morsel of food on their plates which is especially rare for my picky 6 year old daughter who just loved her fried rice and Salmon. Kids meals are adult size so it's a great value . I had two Scorpion ? Bowls which got me feeling pretty lively. I imagine moving forward we will be doning weekly at J & J . “Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!“

“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“
“We tried bahn mi grilled pork sandwich, pork spring rolls, Vietnamese coffee black boba, unsweetened tea black boba, mango smoothie with black boba and mango smoothie with mango boba. Everything was delicious!! Fresh ingredients and no sweeteners in our smoothies. Staff was knowledgeable and went out of their way to accommodate my crying 8 year old when she decided that she also wanted black boba in her smoothie like her brother. “The food was very good! Tasty and fresh! The hot and sour soup is apparently the best my roommate has had in years. This is more a carry out type establishment even though there are multiple tables. We happened to eat in. Service was fast and very welcoming. Paper and styrofoam plates, plastic cups, and utensils. When ordering for pick up, this is THE place to go. Not so much for a dining-in experience. We will be ordering from here!“
“Authentic and exotic. The Thai beef salad was incredible. The skewers are delicious very flavorful. The Khmer spring rolls are delicate and fantastic. I couldn't order enough they are like crack lol The food paired excellently with the brewery right beside it. The Galaxy IPA from East Regiment beer company was the best ipa I’ve had in Mass. This spot for food and beer is a must in Salem“
“Kowloon is an institution. It is a tradition in my Italian American family to come here on special occasions (usually post-funeral). But after all these years we still have a great time. You come for the ambiance, but I was quite pleased with our Sunday lunch. The chicken fingers and wings were juicy and the beef teriyaki and ribs were not over cooked and very moist. The lunch specials are a great value and there is a nice variety of tiki drinks. Viva la Kowloon.“

“Great Chinese food and great service. Ordered on their website for delivery and they came exactly on time (even on New Year's Eve!). You can choose the spice level for the some of the dishes. The choices are no spice, a Iittle spicy and extra spicy. I chose extra spicy and it wasn't that spicy at all - it was perfect and delicious. Highly recommend the veggie in garlic sauce and veggie fried rice.“
“The new Lynnfield location is within walking distance of my office. The food is great. Everything I’ve tried from the menu has been delicious. My favorite (so far) is the Hunan chicken. Spicy without being too hot, and loaded with crunchy vegetables and generous slices of chicken. The counter staff is very friendly and the prices are good. “For years I was always under the impression that this was Beverly's worst Chinese food restaurant. The lobby is dingy and outdated blah blah blah. Well I was wrong. My husband was in charge of ordering take out one night and our usual place wasn't answering their phone. In frustration he called China Wok. We were pleasantly surprised. “My daughter and I are always looking for a good restaurant for sushi. Maki, ect. Chi was a wonderful treat, and both of us agreed that it's one of the best in the area! We shared maki and makimono. And I had a mixed drink. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. We will most definitely be going back.“
