“What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼‍♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! We’ll definitely be back! — eating dinner with my love with Joe Florentino at G Bar and Kitchen.“

“The most amazing dinner experience we’ve ever had! Theresa made us feel like family and even kept my 7 year old laughing and excited the whole meal. Her food takes you right back to Italy and it’s made with so much love. We traveled from Texas and tried it on a whim - WOW best meal/experience of the whole trip. “I had lunch with friends here yesterday and everything was great but I have to mention that our server, Russell, was hands done, one of the best servers I have ever had. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. He even sent over a delicious birthday dessert without even being asked! Russell is The Best!!“

“I don't like to be 'that guy; who makes a mountain out of a mold, so I'm going to give this place a well deserved star rating for the attributes listed on google maps. However, as good as this place is, as an individual who has worked as a bartender for 2years, i judge institutions both on the the basis on their staff in their work hours performance and their post work courtesy. You can be the most excellent bartender during work, but how you conduct yourself a few minutes after work reflects your values as a human being. So, while i wont explicitly express any issues regarding the service during effective operational hours, i am rather disappointed by the response post work hours on a humanistic level, and going off of that principle, Sylvan i am must say i am rather disappointed. it really doesn't cost you anything to offer considerate behavior and a glass of water to a customer who lost track of time and stayed a few minutes beyond closing hours. Nevertheless, i believe in a meritocracratic society and i will give the 4.5 stars for the indubitably admirable performance of the staff during official hours.“

“I can’t say enough great things about The Babe! Our food was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I had the Mr. Falafel sandwich, and I was still talking about it days later! It was so good—perfectly balanced flavors with just the right amount of tzatziki sauce (heavenly), all wrapped up in a soft wrap. The one recommendation I would make would be to cut the falafels into four pieces just to make it easier to eat. But to be honest, it didn’t stop me from devouring the whole thing, and I will be back to eat another one! But it will be a tossup—do I get the truffle burger or do I get another Mr. Falafel? My boyfriend got the Reuben, and he said it was incredible as well! Our bartender was fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and rocking these awesome little heart glasses. She really knew her stuff when it came to cocktails. They actually serve orange Combier, which I feel is the cream of the crop for making the best margarita! She made us a fantastic margarita, and I also had another drink with grapefruit (I don’t remember the name), but it was delicious too! We sat at the bar and had the chance to meet one of the owners, who was so friendly and kind. The whole place has such a welcoming vibe, and I can only imagine how fun it must be when they have live music. I really can’t wait to go back!!“

“The staff was AMAZING!!! As someone who worked in the restaurant business for 28 years I was completely amazed at how the staff handled the crowd at the Freezin for a Reason fundraiser on Jan 1st. The place was completely jammed and they were so calm and accommodating. Someone was always there to take a drink order or whatever else you needed. We were there for the fundraiser, but we will absolutely be back to visit again! Thank you all so much for the great experience!!“

Mario helped us to decide which drinks and foods to get based on our likes. He was so much fun!Everything was delicious from the drinks to the entree to the dessert. The Destructed Baklava was one of the best desserts that I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back when we are in Boston again. A 5 star experience for sure!“

“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

“A great place to socialize with veterans and civilians alike. They have a luck of the draw every Friday night which can be from anywhere from 15 to 60 people playing darts. The drinks are amazing. Staff is incredible. I recommend booking a function there if it’s available. Fantastic space with handicap parking out front. And a great place to visit overall and they have room in the back for smokers!!
