“I had lunch with friends here yesterday and everything was great but I have to mention that our server, Russell, was hands done, one of the best servers I have ever had. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. He even sent over a delicious birthday dessert without even being asked! Russell is The Best!!“

“What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼‍♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! “We are doing a world cruise on the Coral Princess and went to Yankee Lobster for lunch. It was absolutely delicious, heaps of lobster in the roll and fries too. My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. “This place was a huge surprise and what honestly made our experience was Mario, our server! He was funny, attentive and helpful with the menu. It’s rare to find servers like Mario in the Boston eating scene and he made the experience what it was.

The lamb chops were my favorite, they were cooked perfectly medium rare, the spanakopita was top notch. All the food came piping hot which of course is always a plus.

“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

“It is an excellent spot, well situated for views of the ocean and the airport, which is probably more appealing to any tourist but nevertheless it is a gem. The food is very good as well as is the service. However it is very expensive, and it is cash only. Those two don't add up: if it's a place where you're going to be spending over $100 it should not be cash only. But if you're prepared for spending a little extra and make sure to bring cash (or else have to get up and pay $3 at the ATM) then you are essentially guaranteed an excellent dining eperience.“

“Perched with killer views, this spot dishes out some seriously tasty grub. The clam chowder was a creamy dream, and the fish and chips? Crispy perfection. Portions are massive—come hungry! The kids’ menu is a beast, packed with options for picky eaters.
But, it’s not all smooth sailing. Dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars because they tried to sneak in charges for kids’ menu sides that are supposed to be included. They claimed they’d fix it, but one charge still slipped through. Also, my beer arrived with some mystery substance smeared on the rim of the glass—yuck. They swapped it out quick, but still. Solid spot, just check your bill and your glass!“

“I was absolutely floored by this restaurant. I deeply regret never having tried it in the past 6 years despite passing by it many times and seeing it packed! We had to wait around 13 minutes after joining the waitlist around 6pm on a Saturday. Ordering is very easy to do through a QR code, and they are very efficient at getting the food out and turning tables around.

We got two mains, one appetizer, and 2 rice for 3 people, and that was plenty (came out to $60 before tip). I liked every single dish including the rice.

The dish that impressed me the most was the fish fillet with pickled vegetables ($25.95). The fish was plentiful and super tender, with great flavor from the broth and pickled vegetables, but there were also glass noodles and 3 different kinds of mushrooms, which I wasn't expecting. This is a 10/10 dish, and I would absolutely get it again.

The house special stir fried tender beef ($20.95) was also very delicious! The beef was tender and flavorful, and we liked the bell peppers and cilantro. It was more of a home style dish than the grand fish fillet, but I'm glad we got to try it.

We also got the black fungus salad ($6.95) which was a delightful way to start the meal. The sauce has soy sauce, black vinegar, sesame oil, and lots of garlic. The rice was also delicious!

Hunan Cuisine wasn't on my radar until today, but now it would probably be my top pick for dinner in Chinatown. I'll definitely be back!“

“Great seafood tower - creative crab abd dressed lobster. Crab pasta excellent. Best were the Isanbd Creek oysters and the discount with a purchased beverage - no brainer! We downed 18. A bit dark in the downstairs - wanted to sit upstairs but it was not open. But solid service and nice atmosphere - the star was definitely the fresh seafood. A bit pricey, but again - oysters on discount worth it!“

“The Chart House is our favorite restaurant in Boston! It is pretty much next door to our hotel. Beautiful building inside with its brick wall and antique hand hewn beams (according to my husband) Wrought iron railings to assist you on the stairs. The food? OMG!!! MY finicky daughter had the best lobster mac n' cheese. My husband had the Caesar salad and the 14 oz prime rib. The rib was perfect! As for my meal, I started with a few oysters from my husband, very fresh. Then I had the best spinach salad. I would have put raw mushrooms instead of cooked on the salad but overall it was heaven with warm bacon dressing. My daughter had the highly recommended chocolate lava cake and would highly recommend it. Danny was our waiter and he did a great job! Chart House will be our first stop for dinner on our next trip to Boston.“
