“We hit it on a so so day. The food was only so so. The same with the Service. I had the Eggs Benedict and asked that the eggs be cooked more well done, not runny yolks. Not only were the yolks runny, the whites were runny as well. I mentioned it to the server, and while she apologized, she didn't offer to have a recook on the eggs though you could easily see I had pushed all the egg off to the side. My friend had an omelette filled with veggies and cheese that was great. “Holy cow!!! This place exceeded ALL expectations set forth by all the reviews of it! I’m disappointed that I don’t remember the name of the server and owner, but fantastic humans for sure! I had the hungry man (sausage, bacon, 3 eggs fried, potatoes, a pancake and toast) my husband had the meat lovers omelet. Wow!!! Takes just like homemade (cause it is) and made my tummy so happy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Your taste buds will thank you!“
“I dont write many reviews - most places are middling at best - but i had to write one for here. Their food was fantastic (and I only got delivery - bet it's better in person). Bacon crispy, homefries crispy and well seasoned and they actually did eggs over medium properly (not overcooked - like most places). Walked in, they took my order quickly, my food came up fast,everything was correct, the food was amazing, fresh, and tasty, and the price was reasonable. “I have been going to Al's for the last 8 years. I always get the same breakfast, so when I walk in, the only thing they need to know is if it is for there or to go. All of the staff, including the kitchen, are super friendly and the food is great. You will not find another place in the area that is that good and budget friendly at the same time.“
“I was finally able to get to Somebody's Place to get my hands on their donuts. They made super cute heart shaped donuts for Valentine's Day that I didn't get a chance to grab. The long anticipated wait to try these donuts was completely worth it. Their hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 2pm. They know what they're doing. When your product is this good, you can make whatever hours you want. You build up the hype this way. You can't make these available on the weekends. I would be a regular here. I was able to bring the kids along with me and they were just as excited as I was to walk through the door. The inside of the place was cute with several tables to eat. They must have known we were coming as they had a high chair placed in front of the donut case for my littlest who climbed that thing with ease. My eldest in predictable fashion picked the chocolate frosted and my youngest nabbed the last strawberry frosted from the case. For the husband and myself I picked an apple cider, apple fritter, honey dipped lemon, and the fried dough, as recommended by the staff (amazing choice by the way!!). The woman at the counter was super nice and helpful. I ordered a hot coffee and even that was delicious! Instead of the kids asking, "Are we there yet?", every minute of the drive I was asking the kids, "Can I eat my donuts in the car?". I maintained composure and waited. Each donut tasted flavorful, soft, yet perfectly slightly crispy on the outside. I think my favorite of the bunch was the fried dough because it was so light and fluffy. I make far drives for good food, especially donuts, and this rivals some of the best donuts I've had. It's tough since this place is actually pretty close to me. From start to finish, just an enjoyable trip. I will be back to try other things. I had tunnel vision. They have a whole menu, but they had me at donuts.“
“Delicious breakfast food! Ordered a blueberry and heath pancake and was really happy with the light crispiness around the edges. The breakfast sandwich was also great. Eggs cooked perfectly, but I would order this on sourdough next time instead of the bulkie. In and out relatively quickly, will definitely come back on another lazy Sunday morning.“
“A actual hidden gem in lawrence, this family owned dinner really did suprise me in the beginning. This picture does not do the french toast any justice, but it was genuienly some of the best french toast I've had at a dinner. And the staff are really sweet, and the whole place feels very homely. I would absolutely recommend if you live in the area, or even if your passing by! This place has regulars for a reason!“
“My vanilla latte was basically correct - lingering finish, not bitter - but the beans either weren't the freshest or were just not ground finely enough, because I didn't get the awesome flavor that coffee can deliver. Inside is a little dated for my taste. The booth seating has tape and tears in places like an aging diner or cafeteria would.“

“We came in Thursday of school vacation week with my 2 and 8 year old for lunch. My 2 year old has trouble with restaurants but we were visiting my mom who loves dining out and I was hoping maybe the planes would help as he's obsessed and did they ever. The staff were so nice they gave us a great table to observe from and were so accommodating and kind with the kids and us having to clear menus and condiments he'd otherwise knock over. The food though was such a great surprise my mom loved her fish and chips and we all got brunch and the pancakes and French toast were unbelievably good and could've totally stood alone without syrup which is impressive (not that they were too sweet they just didn't need to be drowned the batter was clearly great). My kids loved it and I can't say enough about finally getting to sit down and enjoy a meal out where everyone was happy and the atmosphere was so nice and welcoming. Thanks to your staff we'll definitely be back.“

Coffee was good.Ordered my usual veggie omelet with loaded home fries and griddled English muffin. Hubs got the usual "hungry man breakfast " with scrambled eggs, loaded home fries,, ham, bacon, and some adequate sausage links and a griddled English muffin (we are creatures of habit and it is a good way to compare). Also got the golden malt waffle. This was my best idea as it was really delicious. I would go back just for that waffle and some coffee. I highly recommend it.The cook made a mistake and plated plain home fries on my dish. Waitress brought me the loaded ones on the side, no charge. I would give this place another visit if I was in the area.“
