“They have the best sushi & soups. One of the best sushi places I’ve been in the North Shore Area. It’s pretty private but my family goes every week and they treat customers like gold. The lobster salad is also amazing the food quality is truthfully great. 10/10 recommend!“

“We really enjoyed our time at Nobo! We were out shopping up in NH and wanted to stop en route home (Cambridge, MA). I looked online and found Nobo. We sat at the bar and chatted with the owner and asked him to surprise us with some rolls - he did not disappoint! We also met his wife; they are both very kind and run a good establishment. I never thought I’d say “hey honey, let’s drive up to Chelmsford for sushi” but I’m pretty sure I’ll be saying that again soon. We plan to come back and support this nice restaurant with kind owners, good food, good service, lovely atmosphere.“

“We got 2 large platters (one hot and one raw) for 4 adults. WoW. That was a lot of food. The presentation was beautiful, one on a boat and the other on a bridge. The pieces were huge and very fresh. A lot of different combinations to try. The waitstaff was so nice. Highly recommend!“

“We had a great fathers day dinner here. Teppanyaki was excellent, including the chef‘s show which impressed the kids a lot. Food quality was very good, everything at a reasonable price. Atmosphere and food reminded of the good Teppanyaki places in Shanghai: lively and easy going.

The sushi is fresh and the portions are perfect. I got the tuna Naruto roll and Hawaiian Sunset roll. Every dish is plated beautifully. My partner enjoyed the wonton soup and general gao’s chicken with white rice. There’s an amazing variety of options on the menu; there’s definitely something for everyone! “Pretty standard menu with Japanese and Chinese options. This is our favorite takeout on weeknights in Reading and always good. Dining in is nice, clean and the service is fast and perfect amount of attention. The menu isn’t super creative and leaves me wanting more options like maybe some soup or steamed dumplings but I think their strength is hibachi and sushi.

“Very nice decor atmosphere...dress casual vibe. Good food ....spring rolls were too chewy inside ...maybe rushed on NYE. Poo poo platter plentifully but food got cold quickly. Shrimp fried rice some of the best I ve had. Prompt service but dotting over us a bit too much ...maybe waiter wanted to turn over table at NYE but I felt rushed at times. Very attentive otherwise.“
