10 Best Italian Restaurants near Upton

“Just wanted to come on and give a kudos to Upton House of Pizza after our experience last night. We were heading home exhausted from the waterpark and ordered a pickup order, which included a small GF pizza for my daughter. We picked it up, headed home and as we were pulling into the driveway my phone rang. The young kid at the counter called and frantically asked if we had eaten any of the pizza. I assured him we hadn’t yet and he said that he had separated it so well from the counter that another staff had put a regular pizza in the box he had pre-labeled thinking it was it (apparently, it was actually the free regular small pizza we got free with our order - that we didn’t know we were getting). He asked for our address and was at our door within 7 minutes. He even asked to see the other pizza to double check. I tried to tip him and he refused, saying “it’s not like we just forgot pepperoni or something, this was serious!” Thankfully my daughter is just intolerant and not celiac, but I appreciate this to no end 🥰 People make mistakes, it’s how they rectify them that shows their character! We will definitely continue to give them our business!“

“This place is what I call a 10 star 🌟 restaurant 😋 according to my standards. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who finds themselves out in this area. This restaurant is always my top number one choice for this area anytime I'm out here on business i always stop in. it's always like having deja vu every time I come here I always get Kerri. Kerri is great. she's a hard worker and a great bartender and Server. whatever this place is paying her? they should pay her more? Great Job. I also highly recommend the lemon salmon 😋 with Apragus and spinach risotto all my favorite foods into one. I highly recommend this dish. I love this dish so much. I eat it all and lick the plate 🍽 clean and then I order a whole 2nd order of it to go time and time again. The food is so satisfying im always thinking of it the next day. another reason why this i consider this a 10 star 🌟 restaurant and is one of my top go to restaurants every time I find myself in the area. “We are “regulars” at the 89 which means we dine there at least once or twice a week! The food, the severs, the bartenders and the owners are all amazing!! They know “who gets” without asking. They space out courses perfectly, yet they are there when you need them. They never make you feel rushed but check periodically to see if you need anything! We have never had a disappointing meal and we have tried most everything on the menu as well as the weekly specials! From the house made soups to the fresh pastas, entrees and amazing desserts you cannot go wrong. If you haven’t been there and are looking for an outstanding dining experience try 89!! It won’t disappoint!“

“Reserved the backroom for our wedding celebrations on Friday night. The wait staff could not have been more accommodating! They were wonderful! “Food wasn't as good as I remembered. The fettuccine Alfredo had little taste. The pizza lacked sauce. Their brownie dessert was hard as a rock (in spite of us asking if it was warm or freshly baked). The mini dessert menu did not match the main menu and the photos of dessert didn't match the description so it was visually confusing. The chicken piccata and Stromboli was good.“

“We're relatively new to central MA and this is the best pizza we've found in the area, especially when we ask for extra sauce. Inside is really nice too, and staff were patient when we were in the bar area with our two little kids. We've had a few small hiccups with orders, but they're good about resolving them, and often do it proactively, which we greatly appreciate (i.e. we screwed something up, we too X dollars off your bill).“
