I also don't go to pizza places often since I make my own dough for my pizzas but my kids were annoying me and we were around the area. “I’ve never physically dined at Charlie’s but have gotten delivery a couple of times. My kids and I love their pizza.

I’m sure their other dishes are amazing. Their pizza is certainly delicious. I will say that I had an experience tonight with an unfamiliar delivery driver. I guess he knocked on my door several times before I finally heard him and when I opened the door to greet him he was seemingly agitated. I apologized for not having heard him as I was tending to my kids and he then plainly said “40 bucks”. I handed him the money, already knowing what it costed from prior orders- he rounded up, I digress. As I was shutting the door I heard him say “wow, that’s it?”

I was going to say something but chose to just let it go. Charlie’s is literally a two minute drive to where I live. I understand it’s the holidays however a lot of us are struggling financially and don’t necessarily have the means to be tipping big on a delivery (that was two minutes up the road). I just found it very inappropriate to make a remark like that quite loudly where he knew my door was still open. Like dude I’m just trying to feed my kids while I have some sort of stomach virus.

I did give a call in to let management know, call me a Karen, I don’t care. They were very apologetic and I appreciated that, I knew it wasn’t their fault and I usually would have just let it go but to be that bold about it was uncalled for.“

It came with angel hair pasta( my fault bc maybe they gave the choice of angel hair or penne.) The chicken was shredded. Almost like from a can. The brocoli seemed shredded as well. The "garlic cream" sauce was non- existent. The dish was bland. That's putting it lightly. It was like they forgot to season it. The "creamy garlic sauce?" There was nothing creamy about it. It was watery and definitely had no hint of garlic. They need to come up with a new recipe bc this one isn't working. It was gross. Ended up throwing it away. Also,the fries need to be cooked more.“

“I got the super beef on The Onion Roll with barbecue sauce, provolone and onions. It has exceeded my expectations! I didn't eat it for a little while so that's why I wrapped it in my own foil to heat it back up. I also got jalapeno poppers and they are good for an appetizer! The star of the show is the Roast Beef though! My delivery was quick I ordered at 5:00 p.m. and it was here by like 5:30!“

“We go to R&V most of the times we visit Marion. This time I ordered takeout with my parents. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap which was very good. The Buffalo sauce has a big kick to it. My mom enjoyed her chicken bacon ranch salad. My dad got chicken fingers which he enjoyed but he said he remembered them being better in the past. Overall the food was very good and as usual we will be back!“

Our server quickly attended to us, delivering refreshing waters and delightful traditional mules. The highlight was the special pomegranate margarita with reposado and pomegranate simple syrup – truly amazing. For starters, we indulged in fried pork ribs, a Caesar salad with exceptional homemade croutons that had a cheese filling and focaccia with garlic Parmesan oil dip. The generous slices of focaccia were a personal favorite and very easy to pull apart. Moving on to the main course, we savored Chicken Parm, TAGLIATELLE bolognese, the house special surf & turf with scallops, and the WOOD GRILLED NY STRIP OR 6 OZ. FILET MIGNON with smashed fingerlings, roasted onion, shishito peppers, horseradish crema, and chimichurri. The in-house-made pasta added a delightful touch, and the rave reviews for the special surf and turf almost led to a second helping. Unable to resist, we took home pizzas – margarita, three cheese pepperoni, and sausage ricotta. For dessert, we all enjoyed a pistachio toffee cake in a mason jar with pistachio gelato and dulce de leche sauce. The entire meal was a delight, and our server's kindness and excellent recommendations enhanced the experience. We're eagerly looking forward to returning, perhaps opting for seats at the bar next time. “Heard about great Bar pizza. We tried it out yesterday. Busy place. Great tavern / sports bar atmosphere. Our server (from Texas) was great, friendly and patiently explained us the style of pizza and options, we had nice cold beer and in my opinion the best bar pizza I have ever had. The pizza called the heavy hitter was so good, great charred edge. A small bar menu but really good stuff. It is worth a drive. Very good
