“The food and service was outstanding. We were greeted by the owner,John Testa, he oversees the whole operation. Huge portions, a well balanced plate (not too heavy on the pasta) the Italian Chop Salad for two can feed four. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient. Looking forward to going back .”

“The food was great!! The service, I should say our service was very poor. We waited over 47 minutes before we were served our meals. The problem was not the kitchen because a couple who came in after us was served before us. It was the wait staff.”

“We first got to know this place because they provide pizzas for my son’s preschool in Wayland, and he absolutely loves them. Even on weekends, he insists that we order pizza only from here.

Our most recent experience was yesterday when I placed an online order for delivery—my first time ordering this way instead of in person. I added a note asking for the pizzas to be “well done, but not overcooked,” and they arrived in Natick warm and cooked exactly as requested. The delivery driver was also very nice.

We ordered a steak pizza, a chicken fajita pizza, and a couple of small cheese pizzas for the kids (including one free)—all of which were delicious. I asked for the pizzas to be well done (but not overcooked) because in the past, one pizza was slightly undercooked, and the next time, when I requested well-done, it turned out a bit overcooked. But this time, everything was perfect! Our guests loved the pizzas as well and even asked where we ordered from so they could try it in the future.

All in all, a great experience!”

“Scott gave us fantastic service! He appeared to be the only server this afternoon but you would never know it—he was so quick and attentive. He put us at a quiet table as requested, then got our order right in, refills on drinks, rolls, and then automatically got us a second pizza to take home as he said the first one didn’t come out the way he wanted it to.. we were so lucky to have him today—thank you Scott for giving us such a wonderful dining experience!!”

The only downside is the waiting area. You are packed like sardines in line to place or pick up an order.
I would definitely suggest calling ahead and placing an order for takeout over the phone.
There are a few tables for sit-down dining but the room is very tight and crowded.”

“My friend and I ended up staying at the bar after having reservations in the dining room. We are so happy we gave the bar a go. Tayla our bartender, was the best. We told her to surprise us.. she delivered. From apps, drinks, entrees, desserts ( Banana Dessert ) was great. We cant wait to come back to see Tayla. 5 stars”

“The food at 80 Thoreau is outstanding. Delicious and very well presented. Their wine be the glass has excellent choices and reasonably priced. The restaurant is broken into multiple rooms, which keeps things quite, though takes away from some of the energy. The small bar is beautifully decorated and would be a treat just for a cocktail. The one negative of our experience was the service. It was far from attentive and not particularly knowledgeable. Might have been bad luck and I do recommend going here.”

We hosted a private event dinner there recently and the evening was a big hit across the board...delicious Turkish menu (including GF options), great service, and memorable setting.
