“I have been going to Grassfields for many years and have been very pleased. The past few times I have been there I ordered the broiled scallops and have been disappointed. The muscle on the scallops are not removed which are very tough to eat. Also I feel they are gritty. I am hoping that someone reads this and corrects the issue because Grassfields is a lovely place.“

I needed to organize a nice dinner for 15 people for my son's birthday. The whole process was absolutely flawless - from initial contact with Igor who took care of all the planning and setup. When we arrived to the restaurant everything was ready and we were treated with utmost attention. The dinner was served family style and we had a chance to pick our menu selections to be shared. “We enjoyed the omakase dinner at Akame restaurant. The restaurant is ultra small, just 6 seats during each seating so there plenty of opportunities to chat with chef and watch him create our dinner. I enjoyed creative combinations of flavors and textures. I loved all the fish offering, however my favorite turned out to be the four gras served on crispy rice crispies topped with yuzu jam and chocolate. Heavenly!
The restaurant is hidden away in an alley off Mass ave. We parked right in front of it, but did not see it, because the only sign is a black writing on the door which we could not see due to reflections. For reference, it is next to Fruitee Yogurt, which has bright signage.“

“Manolo was definitely one of the better Brazilian restaurants we have tried in the New England area! We are so happy that our friends brought us here to try, complete with an extensive menu and gorgeous ambience with plenty of space. The filet mignon bites combo served in Brazilian Creamy Cheese Sauce with yuca fries was extremely tender and flavorful and absolutely delicious. The caipirinhas drinks (we tried the strawberry, lime, and passion fruit flavors) were all made to perfection as well. We'll definitely be back!“

“We stopped in on the way home from the airport, and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere and food were awesome. I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“

“Lunch for 4 here on a Tuesday. Two sandwiches, one personal pizza, one Italian dish (pasta alla Norma with eggplant). Everyone enjoyed their meal, though none of the dishes were distinctive. Our waitress was friendly and generally prompt but forgot a few requests, which she promptly rectified when reminded. Our booth was very comfortable and clean. Traditional decor. All in all an agreeable experience.“

We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!“

The scallion pancakes, beef and cabbage dumplings, vegetable dumplings and crab rangoons were some of the best and most fresh I’ve ever had. “Got a reservation for 8 and then decided to change up the plans. Called to see if there was any way to get a table (at 6 on a Saturday night) and the Host said we could not have a dining table but they would hold a table in lounge for us and we took it. This restaurant is beautiful. The hostess was so kind and knew who we were when we walked in. We were celebrating an anniversary and that was acknowledged by the hostess, and multiple servers. They even put a cut little card on the table saying Happy Anniversary. I thought this was really cute and I've never seen that done at a restaurant before. We both got the filet mignon, cooked med well and mid-well and both steaks were cooked to perfect. Sides were French fries (so good) and mashed potatoes (also good I don't even like mashed potatoes). The bread was so good and I got the sweet and spicy margarita, which was amazing. Vanilla bean creme brulee dessert - loved! Can't wait to go back and try something else.“

“Most mouthwatering dumpling in townTheir stir fry dishes are kinda amazing . Even their chicken with vegetables sounds pretty common but theirs amazing. I took my brother here and said to him "taste theor chicken with vegetables. Its amazing isn't it" and he said yes it is . And he dines and all the fine resterants in the Washington dc area. And in these times of inflation, they really haven't raised their prices as much as other restaurants have“

Counter service super friendly too, they made sure to wait until I was there to give me my drink from the fridge so it stayed cold which I thought was nice. Second time ordering here and both times were great!“
