“My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!“

“I have been nothing but happy with my ordering from AK's. The delivery charge is minimal and the delivery is super quick. Even when I order around lunch time, with the order tracker, I can see it leave the restaurant promptly. Each delivery driver has been very friendly. I am in love with the soup of the day! Worth it, all around!“

“This place is located in a plaza, so there is plenty of parking. The inside was clean, and it was quiet for a weekday during lunchtime. My order was ready within 5-6 minutes, and service was friendly.

- Combo #7 Slider + Fries: My first bite of the chicken was dry, but the rest was moist. The breading was seasoned well, but I didn’t taste any heat from the “Hot” spice level. Nothing special about the bun, and the coleslaw added a nice contrast, but I wish there were more on the slider. Wasn’t a fan of the fries because they were bland and not crispy at all despite eating them within 5 minutes. The sauce was good, though.
- Fried Oreos ($5.99): This was my first time trying fried Oreos, and they were surprisingly better than I expected. The outside was very flaky with a mochi-like inside. The Oreo taste didn’t change after being fried, but it had more of a brownie-like texture.

The offerings themselves, which are varied and excellent, the staff, and the physical environment are all perfect for a quick and satisfying lunch. As an architect, I appreciate the layout of the store, which is congenial and encourages communication with others.“

Bakery items are so tasty and you will come back for more. The display of flatbreads are extraordinary as they are lined up for your viewing. A must for breads and tasty treats. “I’m honestly glad that I waited to post my original review with a lower rating and thought through the experience a little bit more. As always, I find it a bit harder to review fusion spots. Not just any fusion either, but one that is all over the world map. It’s easy to just nitpick one dish and use it to judge everything else; but what about that is remotely fair?

For example, their Beef Rendang (a dish that I’m very familiar with - including the different regional renditions) is more like a hint towards what “real” Beef Rendang is. I don’t even need to speak on behalf of the Filipinos regarding their adobo (which I also grew up on) who are infamous to show up on public forums to criticize and say “that’s not how my grandmother makes it” (lol).

What did come to mind is the old quote that many often find negative but actually was meant to be a positive phrase (if the last part isn’t so often omitted). “Jack of all trades, master of none, though often times better than a master of one”.

That definitely applies here with their style of food. There’s a lot going on and a good portal to the true potential of each dish. Definitely give them a try! Portions are good and the food is definitely tasty!“

“This place does an awesome job when it comes to delivery. I have ordered from here a dozen times and the food is on point and everyone that works there does a great job. Keep up the great work just remember to send all my items though since there have been mistakes once the order is pulled everything should be pulled that on the receipt for delivery so it ready to go thank you!!“

“Can you believe this was our first time at a Dairy Queen’s? I personally never thought of coming here because Im not a fan of soft served ice cream. We took our nephews out and wanted a place for them to have Ice Cream and for us to eat something. We had hamburgers and cheese curds and were very pleased, one of our nephews had a blizzard which we also tried and ended up loving it, and our youngest nephew has a nut, dairy, egg allergy and the staff was very nice helping us find something for him.

“Last year I walked in and the music WAS SO LOUD THAT I HAD TO YELL MY ORDER. I asked if they could turn down the music and was told that there was a camera on the volume knob and if they touch it they get fired. I filled out the 'how was your visit' form on the corporate website and a district manager got back to me and apologized saying that a customer should not have to be subject to such. A month ago the same thing happened, this time I was told that the volume knob was broken. I again filled out the 'how was your visit' form and got zero response. I saw a phone number to call recently and called it and was told that someone would respond to my complaint. Nope. So in about a year they have gone from 'We will listen to our customers' to 'we will ignore our customers'. But the food is still good so there is that.“

I’ve been here multiple times over the last few weeks and the food is usually hot and fresh (hot fries) which can be hit or miss at fast food joints. “Dress code is extremely strict - if anyone arrives in a cheap suit that you purchased for under $10k, they won't even let you get anywhere near the entrance, so please do yourself a favor by avoiding the inevitable humiliation and going to a less exclusive place. A group of five should expect a $2,000 bill at the very least. The atmosphere, ambiance, elaborate and extravagant design of the place, is utterly extraordinary and otherworldly - the overall experience is amazing, uncomparable to any other place in the world - no human language that I'm aware of has words that could come close to properly describing it. You'll be a forever changed person after you come here for the first time. It's a mystery who owns the place or when it was built, well everything about this place is mysterious honestly. Nobody around knows any of the staff. It's bizarre. It has been theorized that this place is supernatural in some way. Lots of theories. Who knows. Maybe it's an interdimensional portal of some sort. Maybe a portal into the afterlife, heaven, hell, who knows. Something feels otherworldly when you're inside. Nobody wants to go too often, because everyone feels strange after leaving, drained, like you've been somewhere humans aren't really meant to go. I don't plan on ever going back myself, I fear the unknown and I've probably said way too much already so I better shut up. Nowadays I avoid driving near that location. I'm not the only one either.“

“I came to the Waltham 5 Guys on a late Tuesday night around 8 PM with a serious problem. I am a salesman in the area and because of an accident yesterday I was stranded with some of my belongings 15 minutes before I had to meet with a client. After allowing some employees to search my belongings so that they could determine I was telling the truth, they let me temporarily leave my belongings at their establishment. It was the difference between making money and not making money. I cannot thank Lester & Eddie (the gentlemen who did me the favor) of 5 Guys Waltham enough for their compassion, patience and kindness during a busy night, while still fully performing and servicing other paying customers. It is rare to find this basic humanity at corporate franchise settings. With a single act of kindness, Lester & Eddie transformed my night from one of desperation into one of joy. “This is a fantastic place for stealth camping as the parking lot is conveniently located and huge, plus the washrooms are available 24/7 and are very clean.

A bonus is the huge availability of tables and WiFi indoors.

Not much in terms of holistic healthy eating options, however.“

“I have been frequenting this McDonald's drive thru for years. The service is consistently friendly and the food consistently properly prepared. There seems to be ample parking for eating in but I've only been inside once when the drive thru line was very long and it turned out to be faster picking up the order inside. I gave the atmosphere 4/5 because the inside wasn't particularly inviting and mostly filled with teenagers who just seemed to be hanging out.“
