“Lockheart offers delicious, affordable food. Appetizers include yummy street corn and sliders (three perfect little cheese burgers). Great variety of their gourmet tacos. Their guacamole is fabulous. Always excellent, friendly service. Efficient and kind staff! Great eating at tables or booths or having food and drinks at the bar. The two TV screens at the bar often show sports with the sound off.“

“I liked the burger. Truffle Gorgonzola fries were ok— I liked the fries, but didn’t really like the sauce. Stomach felt a little funny after, but not sure if that was the burger or fries.

Food came quick. Space was clean and small but not crowded.

Parking lot out back had multiple spaces available and was $1.35/hr. There’s some 2 hr free spots a few blocks down but you have to parallel park. Some 1 hr free spots closer to the restaurant but those were almost all taken Saturday lunch hour.“

“La Victoria has long been a go-to option if I need a quick and affordable lunch option, but this past week I got catering platters from them for the Friday night dinner for our out of town guests for my son's bar mtizvah. Everything was delicious, and it was easy for people to mix and match what they wanted to eat -- a real benefit for feeding a crowd. Alex at La Victoria made the ordering process easy! “My husband and I went to Sobre Mesa last night, it had been recommended to us. We dined at the large U shaped bar. The atmosphere was lovely and customers appeared happy, as did the staff. I want to shout out Shannon, our bartender. Shannon welcomed us with her huge smile and positive energy. She really knew her way around the bar & talked to us about the menu. The margaritas had fresh lime juice and were so refreshing. We started with chips & salsa and guacamole, delicious. For dinner we ordered the fajitas with chicken, it was dynamite. Service was quick and friendly (mind you it was breakfast time and I was the only one in the restaurant but bonus points because I read somewhere that they served chilaquiles and even though I didn't see it on the menu they made it for me). I wouldn't really call it a dining-out type of venue (it's very tiny). I'll definitely give it another try and get something different from the menu.“

They made my food first out of the rest of my party, and took the time to clean the grill before hand. The tacos were delicious - the beans and rice were a little bland and much better when I added them to the tacos. I'd recommend speaking to the staff about possible options if you have food allergies.“

“We were visiting the area to attend graduation and had brought our small dog. The restaurant accommodated our dog by allowing us to sit outside. It started to rain but the server quickly rolled down the awning and no one got wet. I'm addition to their excellent hospitality, the food was delicious. Our group tried the burger with egg, chicken and waffles, pork bahn mi and crab cakes. Fantastic experience to top off a wonderful graduation weekend!“

“Consistently delicious food at a great value! Their coconut shrimp burrito is so so good - definitely something I crave on a regular basis. The shrimp is cooked really well (not rubbery, which has happened at other places) and Los Amigos allows you to be flexible and make substitutions - getting this burrito with the mango salsa is the best combo!“

“Ok so I didn’t go to the restaurant (but I definitely will) I ordered 2 TooGoodToGo orders but also ordered other food…Thanks to TooGoodToGo I found this amazing place! They were so nice on the phone…I asked many questions and spend lots of time in Mexico so I know great Mexican food! They happily answered all my questions and I ordered my food on top of the TooGoodToGo….EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD ‼️ I ordered Menudo and was so happy they had it but I am too full to eat tonight! I ordered Chimichanga and menudo….Chimichanga was perfection! The TooGoodToGo was a quesadilla with rice and beans and a burrito with rice and beans all amazing…chips guacamole and a chipotle sauce just incredible!!!! I’m sorry but I don’t love Mexican food here in America but this was like being in Mexico it was EXCELLENT ! I also ordered Mexican Cokes…..I will be a regular customer forever!!! A lot of sunlight and nice plants in the large windows to block out prying eyes but its a breakfast/lunch place, so it is really a more casual eatery. Definitely a loyal clientele with Mexican and South American fare.

Vegetarian options: The tortilla chips and salsa are vegetarian and you can order a bean burrito or taco, but I wouldn't call this a vegetarian place at all ! If you eat eggs and dairy you'll get a great breakfast here.“

“we have frequently ordered out from them however I refuse to give them any more buisness as of today, we have never had any issues in the past . my husband paid 40 dollars for a taco tray , and upon opening the tray I noticed my chorizo tacos where burnt. to the point I couldn't even attempt to feed them to my dog. Im not sure if that was given to me on purpose because when I went to pay for my food I was commenting to the cashier about the large significant price increase and asked if I could receive my receipt so that I could verify the charges .I understand prices are going up because of whats going on , however the original taco tray typically comes with rice and beans, I was aware that because they where operating out of a taco truck I wouldnt receive that and I was ok , I just was not informed of the significant price increase that was a larger amount.The cashier had a attitude about it and scoffed and wrote me a receipt that read 40$ taco tray. I was already upset , so to go home and see that some of the tacos where severely burnt really upset me . I personally texted the owner and expressed to the owner that its not fair to work hard and pay for a service to feed your family and half of the food is charred. as of today I will no longer patronize this poor excuse of an establishment. I never got a response back and that speaks volumes about the owner . If you desire attitude and burnt piss poor quality then Tacos El primo on college street is the jackpot. attached are pictures of one of the burnt tacos and a screenshot showing that I reached out to show them the quality of food , In no way shape or form was I disrespectful or using any type of profanity in my text although I was upset, never got a response back .“

Also, you get chips and salsa when you sit down - big plus on my book. The menu has draft beer listed, but it wasn't available when I visited.“
