“Best baked haddock i have ever had . Unbelievable!!!“

This restaurant used to be a staple of ours. In fact, I still say it has one of the best Chicken Parm of any restaurant. In the last few years though, it has consistently been incrementally dropping in satisfaction and has hit the tipping point of causing an update.

It started years ago when they changed from offering a wonderful basket of Greek bread and dipping oil to two rolls and some butter. Then they started playing around with the plating. Sandwiches on bare metal trays, Chicken Parm and Pene on a wooden plate once, ect.

The other day, what should have been a simple Turkey Club came out as a Turkey Sandwich. Turkey Club... white bread, toasted, layered, cut in quarters. Every place in the world knows how to make it. It's beauty is in its simplicity. It doesn't need to be "fancy". My wife got a Steak and Cheese Sandwich. Another dish every corner Pizza Shop can do relatively well. This was way overly cheesed (didn't know that was possible) with cuts of steak instead of shaved. And small cuts like they went out of their way to dice the steak while it was frozen to then thaw and use.

It seems like every time we go in now and every new dish we try we always end up saying, "It would have been great, except....". It's like they got a new chef who wants to try a new fancy thing or fad but forgets the basics of what made the food great to begin with.

I hope them success because as the Manor (now their function side), it was always special when I ate there. Now their "Excepts..." are killing them like a thousand cuts. Get back to your roots, get the basics right, and please, put a French Dip Sandwich on your menu.“

“One minute your on the streets of Worcester then walking in and time warping to a taxidermy dream bar from the 1950s. Then once you step out the back door it feels like you have entered an enchanted forest decorated in strings lights with majgical fairys bringing you beer and meatball sandwiches. “I came here the night before my sons funeral. A friend of mine who was like an uncle to my son was with me. We had a great time. The bar tender was great. The drinks where strong, but enjoyable. This was my first time in this bar and must say I had a good time. I would definitely come back. It was a peaceful atmosphere.“

“It’s a cool concept to modernize gaming and going to a bar. I wish more people came to recognize and appreciate this place but it’s not meant for everybody. There is a cover fee of five dollars before going in, with a bunch of PC games add ons as well as some old-school and Nintendo switch. There are two bars that specializes in different cocktails, which I really liked the Matcha martini. The Matcha had a familiar taste to real deal and it was pleasant to sip on. The espresso martini might’ve been a hint sour, but it’s brewed with espresso, wasn’t a fan of the overall taste. The pizza here is pretty good, and they tend to switch up their menus for events.“

“This is my mom and I's favorite place to go to play pool. I live out of state but still travel once in a while when visiting mom and we always make a stop here. All of the customers know eachother, its a very close group. The new owner is doing great things with this place!“

“So cute & such a nice vibe. Great drinks, great music, they do pizza by the slice if you ask, they have desert and delicious complimentary popcorn. Me and my friend came on a saturday night and were shocked that we were the only ones in there, a few people trickled in before we left but this is SUCH a great place to come and hang out, dance relax. staff is SO sweet & friendly. definitely go and check it out if you’re in the area! we will definitely be back a bunch“

“The thing that really sets this place apart is the sound. Seriously. Give whoever does the sound here a friggin medal. Vocals clear? Guitar bass and drums sitting well together in a live mix? Thats possible? The Raven proves it. It's right in the middle of the hood so not the best place to hang around after a show.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at 1885 Bar and Restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of classic charm and modern style. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.“

“We've been going to Via since they opened. The recent menu changes were disappointing. Our favorite menu items were gone. The Fonduta of Italian cheeses and the veal scallopine are no longer offered and the short ribs, although still very good, are served with tortellini now, which I don't think is an improvement. Also notable is the servers at the Worcester restaurant group restaurants all seem to be new and the team serving dynamic is not as it used to be, either. We were told that there is a new head Chef, but rather than adding new menu items, they seem to have just removed some of the best ones.“
