“Quite honestly, I am not a person who likes to go out. With that said, I stopped one day at Charred Oak with my spouce on a whim... from the time we walked in that first day to as recent as this evening there is something very special about this place!From the food and drink to the staff who is like extended family. “Great seafood boils, great fried seafood and excellent accompaniments. We tried the crab claws, shrimp, corn, sausage, potatoes, mussels, crayfish and broccoli, the seafood boil type items I just lister were delicious. The seasonings not only tasted fantastic they tasted like they were proprietary or made from a homemade recipe. We tried steamed oysters, fried catfish, calamari, hush puppies and chicken fingers and those were absolutely amazing. Great place and we highly recommend. Definitely will be going back. Oh they’ve got a bar. The atmosphere was chill.“

“this public House feels like a public home. there is a great community of regular customers who are really nice people. they offer a full bar and food. there is an outdoor area with great ambiance and games. they have a lot of fun weekly activities like karaoke and live music. they also just got in a new pool table with beautiful new cloth and balls. I myself don't actually drink anymore so I don't spend a lot of money when I go there but I am treated like I am important, welcome and wanted. this is a great place to hang out. this is a real review. I don't work for this place in any capacity. I found it a couple of months ago and I'm glad that I did.“
“all the bartenders are nice and the owner is awesome too. the drinks are priced fairly and they have live music on weekends and they have trivia on Wednesday which is always a good time.“
“I've been coming here for years. Friendly atmosphere and good people. The bartender Felicia is the absolute best hardest working bartender around and I've seen many! I've known her and her fiance for years. Awesome people. Tina is pretty cool too.“

I ordered a piña colada and the birra tacos which these are the best I've had in years!
My husband ordered the Tulum Chimichanga chicken and said it was stewed perfectly.
Highly recommend. Friendly staff. Family friendly. Quiet.

“Pizza is just getting better it was terrible for a while but the last few months best ever. Whoever improved and made it the way we always have known thank you. We have been having this pizza since way back in the 80’s when it was at the railroad station when every pizza was perfect. Glad too see that same quality again. As long as the craft is perfected you can never go wrong love this pizza always have and with the quality old school only good things can happen. 😊😊“
