He put us at a quiet table as requested, then got our order right in, refills on drinks, rolls, and then automatically got us a second pizza to take home as he said the first one didn’t come out the way he wanted it to.. we were so lucky to have him today—thank you Scott for giving us such a wonderful dining experience!!”

“As close to an authentic omakase experience as it gets outside of Japan. The quality of the food (texture + flavor) as well as the presentation were all mind blowing. Service was also great. Dan was very polite and knowledgeable about the menu, being able to give a detailed description about each item he was asked about. I’m definitely coming back!”

“Summary: get the corned beef hash. If you didn’t get the corned beef hash, you did it wrong. Order again. It’s the only photo I’m attaching to this review, because you need to focus like a freaking laser. Don’t be distracted until you have ordered something containing this hash. My fave breakfast joint is on Vancouver island in Canada. My second favorite to this point was in Tucson. I have had a lot of breakfasts. I have had a lot of corned beef. If you aren’t ordering the corned beef here, you will be judged. It’s why people don’t consider going vegetarian. When you pass away, whether or not you had this corned beef will be factored in to how your life is measured. Get the hash.”

“The food is great. I always get the taco special. The ingredients are fresh.
The only downside is the waiting area. You are packed like sardines in line to place or pick up an order.
I would definitely suggest calling ahead and placing an order for takeout over the phone.
There are a few tables for sit-down dining but the room is very tight and crowded.”

“My friend and I ended up staying at the bar after having reservations in the dining room. We are so happy we gave the bar a go. Tayla our bartender, was the best. We told her to surprise us.. she delivered. From apps, drinks, entrees, desserts ( Banana Dessert ) was great. We cant wait to come back to see Tayla. 5 stars”

“Patzcuaros is literally the best Mexican place I have been around the Boston area. Tacos are always fresh and delicious and the Margaritas are the best I have ever taste in the whole state of Massachusetts. This is coming from someone that has tried many, if not all Mexican restaurants around the area. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Also, the service is always on top. Bravo! Please, keep the same energy and quality.”

“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.”

“This is a hidden gem! We stopped here randomly while traveling home from Boston. We got zucchini pillows and beet salad for appetizers. They were fabulous and flavorful! For dinner we got gnocchi and chicken parm. Probably the best we have ever had! Delicious and good size portions. We had tiramisu for dessert. It was excellent! Great meal start to finish. Our waitress, the owner's daughter was personable , sweet, efficient and great to talk to. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!!”

“My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!”
