The grounds are stunning, the layout is thoughtful, and it has that cozy, timeless feel we were looking for. What truly made the experience exceptional was Abby, our coordinator. She was incredible from start to finish. She was detail-oriented, and so easy to work with. Abby made sure everything ran smoothly the entire day and handled all the little things before we even had a chance to notice them. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we could relax and enjoy the moment. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue, and we’re still so grateful for how stress-free the day felt thanks to Abbey and the Bittersweet team. Highly recommend.“

“My adult daughters and I stayed down the street for a week so were able to visit The back eddy a couple of times. The food and service were great. The second time I really wanted a lobster so spent the $45!! However, for that price I’m surprised they can’t throw in fries and coleslaw!!! Ridiculous“

“Absolutely adore The Sail Loft. The restaurant is full of natural light and a harbor view. Clean, airy, serene. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The management team and owners are visible and greet us whenever they see us. The food is outstanding. My significant other and I always go with a ceasar salad, with house made croutons, lemon dressing and crispy chicken. It hits the spot everytime. We've also had the brownie sundae - our little guilty pleasure. We have been three times and each time everything has been top notch. The surrounding shops are also darling and worth a visit. Highly recommend Sail Loft.“

“Had the extreme pleasure of popping in this morning to try NY Fresh Bagel & Bakery and meet Md, oh my goodness these bagel are delicious, soft and chewy and so good! I got the Asiago cheese bagel with the from scratch homemade scallion cream cheese and I can honestly say this was the best bagel I have ever had. We also tried his fresh squeezed orange juice that was pure heaven and his homemade tuna and that was amazing too, it has a bit of a slow heat kick as you eat it, truly worth the trip as you won’t be disappointed! 100 % recommend. Run don’t walk, support local not a chain and I promise this will become your new favorite bagel spot! Def is ours now! “We came into town for lunch and it was perfect. The mussels were plump and seasoned very well with the broth. The broth wasn’t gritty at all but like garlicky silk. Tater tots were seasoned and delicious. My husband had the pastrami sandwich and said it’s the best he’s had which is saying a lot because he’s had Katz Deli in NYC. Service was warm and attentive. Definitely recommend.“

“Absolutely loved my visit to Troy City Brewery! I tried the Cobblestone Blueberry Beer and it was phenomenal — smooth, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was awesome, with a great vibe, cool videos playing, and a location that’s perfect for relaxing or hanging with friends. Big shoutout to Amy and Makayla, our bartenders. “I'm frustrated by this place because their food is so good, but so expensive and both times I went I ordered a cold sandwich and waited over 20 minutes to get it. I can't go here on my breaks from work because no matter what food I get it takes forever. Front staff are kinda rude too, which would be tolerable if the food was reasonably priced and fast- but it's not.“

“We usually get this on Doordarshan. Like most food it is better in person. They did a really fun presentation for the cinnamon French toast. One of the waitress' must have been new. She dropped stuff. Didn't say behind causing other waitresses to bump into her. It was a bit chaotic. However I have no complaints about the food.“

“Late night stop for a cheeseburger after the kiddos football game. They were about to close but served us To Go. We sat outside under the giant milk bottle and enjoyed the best burger I've ever had. The buttery bun was grilled perfectly to keep it from turning to mush. The veggies were crisp. The burger had that gorgeous flame broiled taste.
